I have seen some munna plushies in Wall-Mart. But they were also 20$... And I wouldn't consider them as plushies, as they were the kinds that could be "reversed" to become a pokéball...

I'm also still staying with my parents (this job doesn't pay me enough to make a solo living...), but they don't care about what I (mostly) buy. My dad just don't care most of the time, while my mom, having a child at heart, still love plushies to the point of squealing like a little girl when seeing cute ones and on occasions buying some for me, my sister, and... herself XD

I actually get a fair amount of my Pokémon plushes online, forgot to mention. I saw a Garbodor plush on Amazon.com I'm hoping to get for my birthday.

Dratini seems to be going for at least $34... T_T On the bright side, there are lots of Lillipup, and there's a relatively cheap Ralts.

Some of those Lillipups are pretty cute, but that Ralts is freaky! Why does it have eyes? Makes me shiver.

I'm pretty sure the green helmet thing hides the eyes. Initially, though, I thought two of those black lines running along its helmet in its R/S sprite were its eyes.

I'm an adult living financially on my own, I still visit the toy aisles of local stores (heck, they can't keep my out of there).

I also have a good collection of stuffed animals (and other toys) that is still growing.

I would really like a Sableye plush, but all the ones I've seen (official or otherwise) were not quiet up to quality with what I would like.
I'll probably try making my own before the year is up. :P

I’m 20 myself and managed to get stuck in a situation where I have to spend the next three months on vacation. (no summer job and I was stuck on sick leave in any case.)
Two months of free time ahead and I’m already sort of missing a regulated schedule. In August I shall have a whopping one course for university – computer stuff like “create a folder with name X and send us a screenshot to prove it”. (I’m not kidding, this is the level of computer courses if you’re not a major student around here!)

So apparently I’m in the minority that wishes for a shorter summer vacation. x.x

My mother has a habit of making fun of such “childish” things. She counts video games in general to be childish though, but I’ve learned to ignore her with that.

You’d think that a paying customer could go get whatever they like, especially adults, but… *shakes head*
If I show up at a toy aisle I get the same reaction out of the parents of children as I do when I smile at a baby or chat with a child downtown: the “get lost you pedophile before I knife you” –look. I’m female by the way and I like kids on a purely “awwww how cute!” –level.

Back to the plushies: I’d love an Oddish or anything in its evolutionary family. Shroomish and Cottonee were simply made to be made into plushies. I’m in the wrong country to be a Pokémon fan. u.u

And if need be, like other people have suggested, you could consider recruiting new people for mod jobs, I've seen a lot of "veteran" active members around here that I'm sure would be up for the task!

I've noticed at the Trainer Battle forum the following line: "Any person may ref a normal trainer match with both trainers' consent." There have also been flashes of "take Test X" and then you can referee/help out/etc.

Have people just not been interested or is there some other reason the mods are taking so much of the burden on their shoulders?

I'm not trying to offend anyone, just curious since I'd love to referee matches and so on if the chance was there. I understand that things like updating the Casino are for moderators only, but can't the "regular users" do something as well?

Well I actually am planning to apply to be a ZA, I'll just use this week for some practise of my own first (still feel like my writing is. kinda. stucky. at. times. if you know what I mean). Also facing a long summer vacation so any sort of activity at Fizzy Bubbles makes the day for me, every day, and I'd like to pass on the good stuff somehow. =)

Sorry if I sound like a very cheesy person, just making the best of the times I'm not smacked to the face with Issues XYZ.

Secondly, Pokémon Centers seem like amazing places. Too bad there's only some in Japan (of course, everything fun and Pokémon-related happens in Japan =P), Asian countries and the United States. If there's any in Europe, I haven't heard of them. Really need to visit one someday!

Also, there's apparently a Pokémon adventure park or something like that in Japan this summer. Those lucky little-!

It happens to everyone at some point. It's fairly easy to get into the habit of collecting one every Monday, though, so once you've gotten into the habit, it's pretty easy to keep it up. In my experience, anyway.
