Heh, first Pokemon that I see and it's a giant Yanmega who seems to be after my life. XD I'm doomed aren't I? D:

First thing I see is a Skarmory that needs its beauty sleep... I'd rather have one who wants to battle me so that I don't have to make it all awkward.

I recall my Arcane Realm adventure fondly as well.

(The AR was the original training area to get newbies into the swing of how FB's RPing worked.)

I had a couple of puzzles, quicksand, a very clever typing-based logic puzzle which culminated in a scrap with a Chimchar against a Lunatone, which went successfully when Volcape hopped onto the moon and started thunderpunching it in the eyes. Ah, good times. My first proper adventure was back in Cortoza, where I saved an Aipom from some douchebag Ambipom which lived up to the nature of a crap-flinging gibbon. Said Ambipom was an agent of a pair of poachers who broke one of the rules in the Evil Overlord List, firstly by using a poor Finneon as a threat not to interfere, then siccing a practically dead and berserk Primeape on me with the same sort of message, before eventually going Rocket-style and kidnapping the Aipom I saved and captured, trying to stop me with some mook with a Yanmega (cough) who was wrecked by my Honchkrow, said red shirt pulling a gun on me and failing spectacularly against superpowered crows, eventually reaching the head honcho's pad where his minions were defeated by teamwork, and ended in a brawl against the corrupt executive's 3 fully evolved 600er dragons and my motley crew, the exec decided to blow his base up with explosives to try and take me with him, which worked about as well as expected and among the swag I got was a Rocket Ball. Ah, good times.

FB has wackier movepools than Blaze Black.

Truth to be told, I was expecting a Pidgey. XD Pretty surprised when I saw a Skarmory, out of all things.

I remember why I taught Qwilfish those moves. Back in the day, it used to be just two Pokemon I had- my starter, Koffing, and a Tentacool I scored from adoption, back when the FB adoption center had a Serebii branch. At one point, I put Tentacool back up for adoption and instead took in a Qwilfish that was up for adoption. Everyone was telling me that it was a mistake, that Tentacruel was better than Qwilfish. And that's when I decided that I would make my Qwilfish the very best, to prove them wrong. Hence the extremely large moveset my Qwilfish possesses. I somewhat regret teaching it the elemental punches, because depending on my updator, the punches sometimes just don't work. One instance of this happening with Ice Punch earned Qwilfish the nickname "fishcube" around here for a while. That's what I was known for in FB at the time. That and my attempt to have my Oddish learn Blast Burn, which led to the current type-based restrictions on advanced tutor moves.

^ Hey Missingno, you should have yourself with that Qwilfish when you battle Jack and co. Maybe a few of your other FB pokemn too. That should be epic (of epicness) XD

Edit: A line from the rules:

teaching Ice Punch to a Qwilfish is a waste of a TM as a Qwilfish has no hands and is therefore unable to form a fist with which to punch

Speaks directly to you huh? XD, my sign up question list even had a question about a Koffing learning Blast Burn. You have certainly left your mark on this place.

As far as moves go, if it's viable it works. For example, my Infernape learned Ice Beam via an item (or was it a kissing booth, I forget) and not a TM. At the same time, my Honchkrow knows Firestream from drinking some heavy fiery vodka, which makes sense because of Heat Wave. If you consider how your mon can do something, anything is available. Hell, you can even ahve all 16 Hidden Power types, though this will be hella expensive.
