Title: Eyes on Me Author: MonMonCandie Fandom: Pokemon Pairings: AlexandrianShipping (Volkner/Jasmine) and ResistanceShipping (Morty/Whitney) Rating: PG Note: Drabble dare by shadowmilotic. Honestly, very fun to write. I couldn't help but include DarksideShipping and MiakaneShipping (both platonic). xD
Spoiler:- 891 words:
One of the perks of participating in the Pokémon World Tournament was the change in scenery. As much as he loved Sinnoh, Volkner had travelled though it more times than he could count and that got pretty stale twelve years into his Trainer career… He’d probably regret that statement later when he’d think about Sunyshore; the Gym; and Flint (that guy was high maintenance without Volkner around), but that was what the next perk was for: Jasmine.
As the tournament name implied, Gym Leaders from all over would gather in the Unova region to compete with the best. Personally, Volkner thought it a hassle since he wasn’t in the ‘battling mood’ when invitations were sent, but participating was well worth it if he could spend all his free time with the Johto native… Long distance calls and visits once every three months (which also needed approval beforehand) could only satisfy him so much.
However, with every benefit Volkner hoped to get, there was a price. When it came to Jasmine, the fee this time around only ever came from one source: Whitney.
“We should totally hang out in Nimbasa after the PWT is over and done with!” the pink-haired Trainer yapped in excitement. “They have a roller coaster, Jasmine—and a baseball stadium!”
Jasmine, polite as she was, nodded as they walked together. “That sounds like fun, Whitney…but I think we were set to leave Unova the day after the tournament is over.”
“Then we’ll just get permission to stay longer!” Whitney pumped a determined fist. “I mean come on! It shouldn’t be that hard to convince Lance—we have Clair after all!”
“I…don’t think Clair will—”
“Of course she will! Trust me!”
With a sigh, Volkner trudged behind the girls as they chatted through Driftveil’s busy marketplace. He stuffed his hands in his pockets while keeping his eyes on Jasmine’s back. With every step, her long hair would sway from side to side. Each time she feigned to brush a strand over her shoulder, attempting to glance his way, Volkner’s heart raced with anticipation.
…But as expected, Whitney happened—dragging Jasmine to and fro between shops without knowing she was interrupting something…
“She’s not doing that on purpose.” Volkner blinked, looking to his right to find Morty—Whitney’s boyfriend—examining a row of Pokémon dolls at one of the shops. “Whitney’s easily excitable to new things—it’s a habit.”
Understandable as far as Volkner knew, but he still couldn’t help roll his head to the side; exasperated. “And yet, when I agreed to this ‘double date,’ I thought I’d actually be with Jasmine…”
Morty chuckled, picking up a Minccino doll and handing it to the seller. “You’re within meters of each other. She’s just…momentarily occupied.”
“…Hence, my point.”
That lazy smile on Morty’s face never let up. “It seems absence does make the heart grow fonder.”
Volkner’s attempt at looking away coolly failed miserably… So what if he missed Jasmine’s physical presence? They sacrificed a lot just to make their relationship work—would it kill them to spend a little (more than a little) time together? He made to say something snappy, but instead, Volkner’s attention went to the newly bought Minccino doll. “…And that’s for?”
With doll in hand, Morty casually walked up to the girls… Except when Volkner caught the Ghost-type Trainer’s gaze, the Sinnoh native felt an underlying purpose in Morty’s stride. “Getting Whitney’s attention.”
Volkner blinked as he watched the man get to work. Tapping Whitney’s shoulder, Morty gently pressed the doll to the girl’s lips for a ‘kiss’ when she turned around. It was there that the energetic girl proceeded to squeal in delight, hugging the toy before jumping into Morty’s lean frame. Jasmine—as a response—backed away from Whitney’s overt show of affection, but honestly, the brunette looked more relieved than bothered.
She finally looked over her shoulder, smiling and slipping away to approach him. Unlike Whitney, Jasmine was more reserved with physical contact, shyly sliding her fingers between Volkner’s once they were only centimeters apart. “Sorry, I didn’t think today would turn out like this…”
He paused for a moment before squeezing Jasmine’s hand gently. As they began walking again, Volkner met her gaze. “It’s fine. Hopefully, Whitney doesn’t notice you aren’t standing beside her anymore.”
Giggling, Jasmine shook her head in reassurance. “It’s alright. Once Morty gets Whitney’s attention, she rarely focuses on anything—or anyone—else.”
“Yes. I mean, she adores him and—” Jasmine was held back when Volkner stopped. “What is it?”
The Sinnoh native simply remained silent as he observed the other couple interacting up ahead. Whitney had linked arms with the pale blond as she started running her mouth as Morty listened, but Jasmine was right. No longer did the busy shops catch her fancy; Whitney was entirely focused on Morty. He entranced her…like a ghost bewitching a haunting victim.
“Absence makes the heart grow fonder, but Morty’s worse than I am.” Volkner sighed knowingly, ignoring the confusion on Jasmine’s face. Shrugging with the belief that some things were better left unsaid, he threw an arm around Jasmine’s shoulder, smiling. “Anyways, you want a soda or something?”
“Okay…” Jasmine frowned with a furrow of her eyebrows. “Volkner, what exactly did you and Morty talk about?”
“…Nothing in particular. Just guy things, Jasmine… Guy things.”
It's because I saw you that this light came to be

Title: Silent World Author: The Prince of May Fandom: Pokémon Pairing: AcidShipping (Roxie x Marlon) Rating: PG-13
Spoiler:- Silent World:
They were sitting on the beach, next to each other, her left hand in his right hand. The only thing that existed for this instant was the beautiful sunset they were witnessing.
Suddenly, she spoke without warning.
"I don't think my parents agree with our couple", she said slowly, still mesmirized by the vivid orange reflected by the water.
He smiled. He expected that kind of comment eventually.
"I don't think I do either", he simply answered with that same smile.
Seeing that she started to worry, he added "... but odd blends are usually the most enjoyable ones."
She sighed. She was reassured, yet still uneasy with the fact her own parents - the ones that supported her through all of her life choices - are in disagreement with her love for Marlon. All she wanted now was to be left alone.
"Hey... We'll find a way...", he said.
They then shared a long, passionate kiss to make sure she wouldn't get the wrong idea. She automatically felt much better while kissing. She realized how much she loved him, and how pleasant his kisses could be. Well, at least for her.
After letting go from his lips, he got up and started to undress.
"W-What are you doing..?" she asked, confused.
He remained quiet as he took off the last piece of clothing he had on, revealing himself entirely to her for the very first time. He had a beautiful body. But she still didn't know how to react to this sudden awkward moment.
"Do the same", he said cheerfully.
She hesitated, looked around to see if there were people near by and got undressed. Her white body was almost glowing. She always was uncomfortable with her skin tone and her small curves.
They headed towards the water and, once in, they embraced. She got a odd, yet warm feeling as their naked bodies touched. His skin color was contrasting her own like she's never seen before.
"Together", he said while looking right into her sparkling blue eyes.
And they both started to dance underwater, in a world of their own, where everyone and everything was silent...

Title: Never Letting Go Author: xEryChan Fandom: Pokemo Pairing: Agencyshipping (Black x White) Rating: PG Note: Dare from shadowmilotic in the Shippers Truth or Dare thread. Criteria: an Agencyshipping drabble involving Black's hat somehow.
Spoiler:- This is probably the best drabble I have ever written:
Do you ever get sick of wearing that hat?"
That caught Black's attention and he had to make sure he heard his boss right at first but then he immediately turned his head to look at White, completely shocked. She looked at him curiously, awaiting his response.
Why does what he wear on his head matter? He's actually quite fond of that hat, why would White ask him if he ever gets sick of wearing a hate that he loves?
"What do you mean?"
"Well, it just seems to me that you never take that hat off for anything. In fact, the only time I've seen you take it off is when you're either bathing or going to bed. I was just wondering why, that's all."
"Does it matter?"
If White was being serious, she did not like the tone of Black's voice and she threw her hands up in the air and she found herself glaring harshly at Black.. "Okay, I was just curious, don't yell at me." She was just asking a simple question and she does not like being yelled at.
"I'm sorry, White." Black felt guilty for snapping. "It's just that this hat means a lot to me and I immediately thought you wanted me to get rid of it."
"No, no, it's fine." White gave a brief smile before she looked at Black puzzled. "But if you don't mind me asking, why is that hat so important to you? It's just a hat."
"It's not just a hat to me." Black calmly said before remembering one of the most painful times in his life. "This is the hat my late father gave me before I lost him. It's all I have left from him."
White felt guilty after hearing what Black had just told her. "Oh my god, I'm sorry, Black. I had no idea."
"Don't worry, it's fine. I just.. I miss him everyday and it's probably stupid but I feel like if I wear this hat, he's still here with me. That's why I can't take this hat off, ever."
"It's not stupid, Black. He's with you, he always will be."
And Black could not stop the grin from appearing on his face. He knew that his father is still with him and it's pretty hard to explain but as long as he had his hat, he could feel his father's presence.
Title: The Time to Confess. Author: Spectro889 Fandom: Pokemon Pairing: Amourshipping (Ash x Serena) Rating: PG-13
Spoiler:- The Time to Confess.:
“Serena. You have always supported me through the beginning. Throughout my gym battles, when times were tough for me, when I was injured and you were always there for me. You are the most caring, and most beautiful girl I ever know.” Ash began, meaning every word that he said. Serena smiled and blushed heavily at his statement.
“I had feelings for you, feelings that had never occurred to me previously. It’s like I can tell anything to you, secrets, memories, you are someone I can always trust…” Ash continued.
“Ash… I feel the same way about you too. Ever since you rescued me from Professor Oak’s Summer Camp when we were kids, I developed feelings for you ever since. You have always been so nice to me, you supported me and even rescued me from dangerous encounters in the past. You have helped motivate me when times were difficult, and I can’t thank you enough...” Serena replied, smiling warmly at Ash… making him start to blush.
“Really Serena? You mean it?” asked Ash, in surprise.
“Every word.” replied Serena, still giving that warm smile at Ash.
“I’ve been meaning to tell you this for a long time Serena, but never had the chance to – either because I wasn’t confident enough, or times where it was possible, had to be interrupted by something or another. What I’m trying to say is Serena… is I love you.” Ash told Serena. Serena staring in shock of what Ash just said, her face turning a bright red. Mere seconds later, she began tearing up and crying.
“Oh no Serena! I made you cry!” Ash said in worry. ‘No no no, this isn’t how I wanted it to turn out’ Ash thought in fright.
“I’m crying of happiness Ash...” Serena said, wiping the tears that ran down from her eyes. “I love you too.” she continued.
Ash opened his eye wide-eyed in shock. The most beautiful and caring girl that he had intense feelings for all this time, said that she also had feelings and loved him too.
“Serena…” Ash trailed on. He wrapped his arms around Serena in a loving embrace, and slowly moved his face towards Serena’s, shutting his eyes at that moment. Serena complied by closing her eyes, and leaning towards Ash. The moment and their dreams were fulfilled when their lips touched and connected with each other for the first time. Ash became dazed and his mind became clear of all thoughts; except the fact that he loved Serena with much passion, and is now kissing the girl he had deep feelings for. Serena too became stunned and extremely happy that she is now together with the boy she had always loved.
The time came when they had to break apart from their first kiss, breathing in for air.
“Serena. I'll always love you, and nothing is going to break us apart…” Ash stated lovingly, staring into Serena’s precious, azure eyes.
“Me too Ash. I never want us to be drawn away from one another. We will always stay together, no matter what.” Serena replied, with a burning passion.
Ash simply replied with a smile, and wrapped his arms around Serena. Serena rested her head on Ash’s shoulder and sighed dreamily. She and Ash are now a couple, and are together… forever.
‘We’ll always be together… till the very end.’

Title: Taller Than Me Author: matthew11 Fandom: Pokemon Pairing: Pokeshipping (Ash/Satoshi x Misty/Kasumi) Rating: G Note: Dare from Mizz Nikki on the Shippers' Truth or Dare Thread. Criteria: NOTP slow dancing.
Spoiler:- One of the cutest and best drabbles I've ever written:
“What is it?
Slow music was playing in a party. As they were dancing, Satoshi couldn’t help but notice her partner being taller than him. It kind of felt awkward for him.
“You seem to be uncomfortable since we began dancing. What’s wrong?” Kasumi said.
“Nothing, don’t worry about it.” Satoshi said calmly.
“No, there’s definitely something wrong.” Kasumi said, her sassy tone began coming out little by little.
“It’s just that… You’re taller than me… ” Satoshi said, embarrassingly scratching his cheek from his realization of speaking out the truth.
“Oh…” Kasumi said sadly. She knew that she was taller than him, but she didn’t know that, when it comes to dancing with a tall partner, it would make him uncomfortable. But an idea popped up in her mind.
“Wear these.” Kasumi said, taking her heels off and handing them over to her short partner, which was immediately rejected by him.
“What? You want me to wear those girly shoes?!” Satoshi said in disbelief.
“If it makes our height even, then yes…” Kasumi said shyly.
Satoshi was having second thoughts, but it wouldn’t hurt to try it on so that he could have artificial height. And so he tried it on and continued dancing with his partner.
*step* *step* *swish*
They were now enjoying their time dancing, their height not disturbing Satoshi. It seems as though both of them want to dance forever since they’re in the same height now. But soon enough, the music would stop, but that wouldn’t stop them from dancing. Nothing would, actually. They just want to be together in each other’s arms and dance the night out.

Title: Date Gone Wrong
Author: Mizz Nikki
Pairing: Teashipping (Bill x Daisy Oak)
Note: Dare from MonMonCandie on the Shippers Truth or Dare thread. Criteria: a Teashipping drabble involving Bill's Vulpix getting in the way of any romantic development.
Spoiler:- Bill x Daisy:
"Daisy, wait!" Bill yelled at his date for the date, who ran out on him. Truth be told, he could not blame her for leaving.
Everything was supposed to be perfect and it did go as he planned. It was supposed to be a perfect date and it all started out alright until it all turned around on him. And he was so disappointed with how it turned out.
He had went out on his first date with this girl he met. Her name was Daisy Oak and he really liked her so he asked her out, which she accepted. He was extremely grateful too, he had never been on a date before. He took her to the park that was showing a movie and everything went well until they were about too until Bill's very own Vulpix ruined the moment by jumping on Daisy.
Daisy got fed up and ran out on Bill. No matter how many times he called her name and begged her to come back, she wouldn't.
Bill eventually gave up and took a seat on the blanket and shook his head. That was when he felt someone rubbing their head against his arm. He looked down at Vulpix, who looked up at him.
And as furious as he was because his date was ruined, he could not stay mad at the little fire fox Pokemon.
Title: Tears and Happiness Author: MonMonCandie Fandom: Pokemon Pairing: SequelShipping (Hugh/Hyuu x Rosa/Mei) Rating: PG Note: Reposted drabble dare from matthew11 due to forum crash.
Spoiler:- 774 words:
There were plenty of things he was ashamed of, but every time Hugh made a girl cry (by accident!), he felt even worse. That wasn’t to say he made girls cry all the time, but… Well, he was just…
“Argh!” he shouted, clawing his hair while falling back on the bench. Luckily for him, no one was around to witness his moment of frustration, but then again, he didn’t care if someone did. As it turned out, Hugh ignored how people saw him…except her for reasons he could not explain. Sighing once all his pent-up rage dissipated, Hugh ran a hand down his face. “Let this day be over already…”
“Are you talking to yourself again?” Flinching, Hugh sat up properly and spotted his little sister ascending the stairs to the outlook. She smiled in his direction; only for her smile to grow bigger when Liepard brushed past her, feigning aloofness. The young girl returned her attention to Hugh, approaching him. “I thought I’d find you here!”
“Did you need something?” Hugh asked.
“Rosa’s visiting her mom today—”
“—I thought I’d let you know.”
“I see. Thanks.” Hugh grew quiet and it wasn’t missed by his sister. He tried to ignore the look of confusion on her face by gesturing to Liepard with a nod. “How is she?”
The girl hummed—hands behind her back—before she turned to the feline Pokémon, gently laying a hand on top of its head. She giggled when Liepard slowly leaned into her palm and quietly purred. “Fine.”
“It’s great that she’s starting to open up again.”
“I’d like it if you opened up too, big brother.”
Hugh blinked. When the girl continued to stare at him—Liepard’s jade eyes following soon after—the Trainer’s eyebrows furrowed tightly; face beginning to heat up. “What do you mean?”
“You’re unhappy,” the girl responded as if it were obvious…which it was, but Hugh would never admit that. Humming, she asked. “Did you get into a fight with Rosa? She had the same expression on her face when I mentioned you.”
…Did she really? No, wait: why did he suddenly feel relieved? He should be feeling bad; guilty even! His name was a negative connotation around Rosa and that didn’t sit well with Hugh at all! Unconsciously, a grim look painted his features and Hugh suddenly remembered the argument he had with Rosa over the Xtransceiver last night before it ended with her angry tears. It was stupid really… Why did they start arguing about hairstyles of all things? Hugh just…didn’t like the Qwilfish metaphor (those damned Plasma grunts ruined it), but then again, Rosa probably hated it when people compared her hair to doughnuts… Plus, weren’t girls more privy about hairstyles?
“Arceus, I am such an idiot,” Hugh lamented, burying his face in his hands.
“She’ll forgive you, you know.”
He hesitated for a moment, suddenly pulled out of his thoughts when something…furry brushed under his nose. Hugh pulled away, scrunching his face, until he saw Liepard sitting in front of him. The feline Pokémon swished her tail back and forth without glancing in his direction, but her proximity…Liepard rarely gave Hugh a chance to get close.
He blinked for the umpteenth time, hearing his sister speak. “Sometimes, you do act before thinking, but most of the time, your actions make girls really happy.” The smile on his sister’s face was sincere and Hugh readily dropped his mouth in awe. Giggling, the girl shared a look with the passive Liepard. “You went far for the both of us after all. That must mean something.”
…Ugh, that comment went straight to his heart!
This time, his sister laughed out loud when Hugh grumbled in embarrassment—his ‘tough guy’ and ‘doting brother’ personas were currently at war—but really, it was Liepard who surprised him when he saw the smug gleam in her eyes… Hugh didn’t know how he felt about that.
Ah, but that wasn’t what he needed to think about. He needed to apologize to Rosa—properly. Besides, if he had to be really honest, the doughnut hairstyle was kind of cute… Hugh just wouldn’t call them ‘doughnuts’ in front of her. Standing up, he declared. “Then I guess I’d better make Rosa happy.”
“You can always do it with a kiss.” the girl cheekily smiled; Liepard huffing through her nose in slight amusement.
“That’s…” The suggestion caused Hugh to fully go red without warning as he stared off into space. Ruffling his sister’s crown while walking past her, Hugh made a beeline for the stairs. “Geez, one thing at a time… I’m forward; not pushy.”
Title: Ice Cream Switches Author: MonMonCandie Fandom: Pokemon Pairing: SequelShipping (Hugh/Hyuu x Rosa/Mei) Rating: PG Note: Reposted drabble dare from xEryChan due to forum crash.
Spoiler:- 974 words:
“Why?” Rosa whined as she shook Hugh’s arm. “Why is the line so long whenever I actually want a Castelia Cone?”
Hugh—Rosa’s on-again/off-again crush (as sad as that sounded)—rolled his eyes, but Rosa had a feeling the boy really wanted to smack his forehead in exasperation. He shrugged in an obvious manner and dryly responded. “I don’t know, Rosa. Maybe it’s because everyone wants a Castelia Cone too? I still don’t understand the appeal about them to be honest.”
Non-believer, Rosa thought to herself, rolling her eyes in return. Stepping up as the line moved forward (it was taking forever!), she replied. “For one, it’s good and Pokémon love it too. I think you should try it before saying how you don’t understand why Castelia Cones are so good.”
“Rosa.” Hugh shook his head. “That’s…pretty much the reason why you dragged me down here, remember? And in Castelia City too! Though you know, we could’ve gone to one of the shops in Join Avenue instead. That would have saved us the hassle.”
…Okay, ‘crushing-on-Hugh’ switch was momentarily off. Puffing her cheeks (and trying so hard to suppress her blush of embarrassment), Rosa returned her eyes forward. “Remind me never to invite you out to eat again.”
Hugh locked his fingers together behind his head. “I don’t think ice cream falls under ‘proper eating’.”
Instead of replying, the female Trainer went with the flow whenever the line moved up and shortened inch by inch.
“…Hey.” Hugh spoke louder; tone insistent. “Rosa, are you mad at me?”
“No,” she lied.
“Really?” He scoffed incredulously. “Really? You’re going to ignore me because of ice cream?”
Letting out a harsh sigh, Rosa turned to Hugh—ignoring the harrowing expression on his face—and answered with as much sass as she could muster. “It’s not any old ice cream. It’s a Castelia Cone.”
Hugh rolled his eyes again (Rosa was so close to calling him a cross-eyed Qwilfish!) as he replied. “Okay; Castelia Cone—whatever. I like a good treat every once in a while too, but I don’t think you have to go so far for something like this—”
“I am done talking with you, Qwilfish,” Rosa finalized, getting a rise out of Hugh with the unfortunate nickname. Before he could retaliate, however, Rosa was finally being served at the counter. It was a relief if she had to be honest as she pretended Hugh wasn’t there with her.
What was his problem? Here she was trying to treat him to something new and the guy was shooting it down without even trying! Hugh had always been a little hard-headed, even when they were kids, but Rosa thought he grew up a little after the events with Team Plasma and the like. Hugh didn’t have to be so impulsive and tense anymore; he could afford to be a normal teenager now that his sister’s Liepard was safe, sound, and recovering. Plus, they hadn’t spent much time together since they were busy Trainers now—Rosa would like to have a moment of relaxation with Hugh if she could help it.
…What happened to the switch being off?
Once the lady at the stand offered the Castelia Cone, Rosa dug through her wallet for the appropriate change, but before the girl could pay up, Hugh intervened and slapped the money on the countertop. It caused Rosa to jump in her spot as blue eyes locked with Hugh’s red ones. They stared at each other for what felt like eternity before the boy stormed off without another word.
Rosa finally snapped out of her stupor, grabbed her cone (telling the lady to keep the change), and rushed after the boy disappearing into the crowd. “Hugh! Hey!”
“I thought you didn’t want to talk to me,” he grumbled under his breath. Sure, he sounded upset, but the female Trainer didn’t miss how Hugh slowed his walking pace in order for her to catch up. It was a habit of his—Rosa had always been shorter than him, so Hugh had learned long ago to walk a little slower when she was around… Rosa readily blushed at the exclusivity of the habit, but thankfully, Hugh didn’t noticed when he turned around to face her. “Look, I’m sorry. I didn’t mean to say all that stuff. I guess having to stand in one spot got to me…”
She blinked; the corners of her lips twitching into a smile as she agreed with a nudge of her shoulder against him. “Well, that line was pretty long.”
His eyes lit up; their little argument just water under the bridge now. “No kidding! And you didn’t even get a second cone while you were at the counter!”
“Oh… Yeah, you’re right.” Would they have to line up again? Rosa really didn’t want to do that—she ended up fighting with Hugh because of the long wait! “Maybe we can—”
Rosa was suddenly overcome with shock when Hugh raised the Castelia Cone to his mouth—his hand over hers—and took a bite out of the treat without hesitating. Her eyes just wouldn’t leave his face when he licked his lips with a thoughtful (handsome) look to the sky before speaking. “Hey, it’s actually pretty good.”
…Yup, her ‘crushing-on-Hugh’ switch was undeniably on. How could it not when Hugh created an opportunity for an indirect kiss?
“Hugh, you idiot!” Rosa yelled when the intensity of her embarrassment peaked to new heights.
The boy flinched, mistaking Rosa’s outburst as anger. “I-I’m sorry! I didn’t think you’d mind… Uh—”
“Idiot! Idiot! Idiot!” she repeated while hiding her reddening face. Rosa had better confess her feelings soon because Hugh’s random acts of intimacy were going to ruin her sanity!
…Then again, who knew trying to get him to taste a Castelia Cone would be so exciting?
Title: In the Garden Author: MonMonCandie Fandom: Pokemon Pairing: MidsummerNightsShipping (Wikstrom/Gampi x Valerie/Mache) Rating: PG Note: Drabble dare from Laverre. I gotta say, this was tons of fun to write! Hopefully I got the 'fairytale' theme down!
Spoiler:- 944 words:
He felt at home within Laverre City and Wikstrom began to wonder why he had never stepped foot here once before. It was quaint—tranquil—with a plethora of the life overflowing from the grandest tree taking root at the center of this sleepy town.
A jingling of keys entered his ears and Wikstrom soon realized his Klefki was floating away from their destination. The knight surveyed the area in front of him, chuckling in realization. “Patience, my friend. Once we’ve completed the errand Siebold entrusted to us, we shall explore the garden to your heart’s content.”
Although his words were reassuring, Klefki would not yield. Something caught its interest and the pull was far more attractive! Without warning, the Key Ring Pokémon quickly disappeared into the nearby flower garden, leaving Wikstrom in shock. How odd… Klefki was normally very obedient, so what had changed this? Wikstrom took no pause as he chased after what was his responsibility.
The flower garden was bigger than he imagined—overhead flora in a variety of colors carried with them many strange scents. The romantic in him thought this garden was similar to the ones in fantasy novels; it was surreal! His armor clanked lightly with each step, but as he listened for the jingling sound belonging only to Klefki, breezy laughter reached his ears instead.
“Oh my, what a dear you are!”
Following the voice, Wikstrom entered the heart of the garden only to pause in awe. There sitting in the middle of the blossoms was a most magnificent creature. The sunlight had given her silhouette a glowing aura; raven hair in cascades around her petite shoulders; and if Wikstrom hadn’t been paying attention, he would’ve mistaken her large sleeves for wings (nay, she had wings regardless). He had stumbled upon a fairy in a secret garden.
Klefki made noise of his appearance before Wikstrom could snap out of his stupor and it caused the fairy child to take notice of his intrusion. Immediately, Wikstrom froze, but the maiden only smiled in greeting. “Good afternoon. Have you come to spend time in the flower garden as well?”
It was such a brilliant smile; a thing of beauty. Wikstrom blinked out of his mesmerized stare, cleared his throat, and slowly approached. He bowed with a palm flat against his chest plate once he was close enough to the fairy child. “I do beg pardon. My reason for entering your garden was to retrieve the Pokémon before you.”
“No need to apologize.” She giggled. Reaching up, the maiden allowed Klefki to rest at the base of her hand. “This garden belongs to everyone. I, myself, simply love spending time here to feel like…a Flabébé among the flowers.”
Wikstrom’s lips twitched. “Admittedly, that was my impression when mine eyes laid upon you, fair lady.”
He immediately began to wonder if he spoke out of turn. This fairy child simply stared at him without a word—Klefki jingling quietly every few seconds—before the girl eased Wikstrom’s heart with another ethereal smile. “Thank you, sir knight. What a kind thing to say.”
Oh, the lady was brimming with innocence!
Gently convincing Klefki to return to Wikstrom’s side, the fairy child began rising to her feet. As with her whimsical appearance, her short stature—in comparison to him—reinforced the idea that she was also quite child-like (in a good way of course). She tilted her head; one sleeve over her mouth. “Now then, what brings you to Laverre City, sir knight?”
Ah, his errand for Siebold; it had slipped his mind! Bowing his head deeper in apology, Wikstrom answered. “Forgive my absentmindedness. I am running an errand for a friend since he did not have time to travel here himself. He had instructed me to find the Gym Leader of this fair city for an item he requested of her some days ago.”
“My, so it was you Siebold sent down? What a lovely surprise!”
“…I beg pardon?”
The maiden’s smile never faltered as she curtsied with open arms. “My name is Valerie, sir knight—the Laverre City Gym Leader.”
Oh… Oh! So this was the lady friend from Siebold’s circle? Her name had come up in passing between conversations with the man, but Wikstrom should have realized sooner the lady would be as beautiful as her name. He replied in turn. “A pleasure, Lady Valerie. I am Wikstrom of the Elite Four.” Klefki jingled beside him, causing the knight to chuckle. “And Klefki as you may already know.”
Valerie giggled. “He’s an adorable little thing. Why, he was pulling at the keys in my pocket once he found me here!”
That explained why Klefki suddenly ran off then; it must’ve fancied Valerie’s keys. Wikstrom chuckled, poking the Key Ring Pokémon playfully. It earned another giggle from Valerie and it eased his soul like music to a savage beast. However, as much as he enjoyed this conversation, Siebold was depending on him. “So, Lady Valerie, might I say we get down to business?”
“There is no need to hurry,” Valerie answered, walking around the garden in a casual manner.
Wikstrom blinked. “But—”
“It’s alright. Siebold will not mind.” Whenever she smiled, Wikstrom was left speechless. “May we chat for a while? I’ve heard many great things about you from Siebold and I’d like to know more.”
To think, he would be rewarded a moment with this fairy child. The flower garden; a fated meeting; and pleasant conversation… Wikstrom had always been a romantic, but this was ideal. Klefki once again drifted towards Valerie playfully as the knight bowed with a smile of his own. “If it pleases you, my lady.”

Title: Better Taste Author: matthew11 Fandom: Pokemon Pairing: Cavaliershipping (Gary/Shigeru x Dawn/Hikari) Rating: G Note: Dare from Mizz Nikki on the Shippers Truth of Dare Thread. Criteria: Cavaliershipping involving applesauce.
Spoiler:- It's average for me.:
"3 to 4 lbs of peeled, cored, and quartered apples, 4 strips of lemon peel, 3 to 4 Tbsp of lemon juice,..."
It was morning. In the kitchen stands Shigeru, preparing to make applesauce for him and his girl to enjoy. All the ingredients were bought by him earlier in the Pokemart. Although he didn't know how to cook, the recipe was enough for him to proceed.
He placed the peeled, cored, and quartered apples into a large pot, added the strips of lemon peel, lemon juice, cinnamon stick, sugar, water, and salt. He brought it to boil on high heat, lowered the temperature, covered the pot, and maintained a low simmer for 20-30 minutes until the apples are completely tender and cooked through.
Once the apples are cooked, he removed the pot from the heat, and the lemon peels, and the cinnamon stick. He used a potato masher to mash the cooked apples in the pot, making a chunky applesauce. He then put the chunky applesauce in a bowl.
He perfectly sprinkled sugar on it.
"Perfect!" Shigeru said after tasting it. He then put it in the freezer. He does liked it chilled.
It was afternoon, and the applesauce was chilled in a decent low temperature. Shigeru came into the kitchen, opened the freezer and took out the applesauce. He then got a spoon, scooped up a small amount of applesauce and tried it again.
"I think Hikari should try this. This tastes great." He said.
"What should I try?" Hikari said, sneaked from behind him, and also surprising him.
"Whoa! Hikari! Don't scare me like that." Shigeru said.
"Hehe, sorry!" Hikari said in a cheery voice. "Anyway, what are you holding?" She added.
"It's applesauce. I think you might wanna try this. I made it after all..." Shigeru said in a shy manner.
"You did? I didn't know you can cook. But anyway, I'll try it!" Hikari said, taking the spoon from him and tried the applesauce herself.
"Mmmm! It's delicious!" Hikari said, her cheeks red from the sweet taste of her boyfriend's home-made applesauce.
"Thanks. Glad you liked it." Shigeru said, beaming a smile, but that faded away as Hikari placed a spoonful of applesauce in front of his face.
"Uhh... What?" He said, seemingly not knowing what her intention was.
"I'd like you to try it." Hikari said.
"I-I just did a while ago." Shigeru said.
"But this time, I'm gonna feed you." Hikari said, her cheeks colored with burning red.
"Uhh... Ok?" Shigeru said.
Hikari then fed him. He then felt the urge to savor the taste since it seemed to him that, for some odd reason, it tasted better when she fed him.
Title: Routine Days Author: MonMonCandie Fandom: Pokemon Pairing: BeaconShipping (Volkner/Dawn) Rating: PG Notes: Dare from xEryChan that needs to involve iced tea. I tried. Also, the first line by Volkner and a rephrased line somewhere in the story are things that are actually said in the games when you're in the Villa and Dawn is an NPC.
Spoiler:- 774 words:
“Hmm… This place gives me ideas about how I can renovate my Gym.”
Normally, people said things like that in passing and she would often take it in jest, but… Well, Dawn learned months ago that Volkner could be a very literal person.
“How long have you been here?” she asked the moment she stepped through the door and spotted him at the table. Seeing Volkner inside her Villa—uninvited—was becoming a frequent occurrence and Dawn had since given up convincing the man to not act like the Villa was his home…or second home; or even a third home…
Flint warned her that Volkner had a habit of ‘drifting’ between residences belonging to friends, despite owning his own duplex in Sunyshore City.
Volkner scratched the top of his head with the end of a marker; back facing her. “Since this morning.”
Sighing, Dawn shook her head, leaving the blond to his own devices as she walked to the kitchen. She had spent most of her day challenging the Battle Frontier before battling some more against some of the Gym Leaders at the Battleground café. Though in reality, she was only looking for Riley to get advice on the best way to raise the Riolu he’d given her months ago. A lot of learning went on today, so all Dawn wanted to do now was relax. The young Pokémon Trainer supposed she was lucky it was only Volkner visiting. He was busy with…something and Dawn was too tired to have a conversation.
Opening her refrigerator, Dawn realized she’d have to go shopping for snacks again. Her supply of Rage Candy Bars were running low and Dawn had a feeling it was Professor Rowan’s doing when he visited her last. After making a mental checklist, Dawn grabbed two cans of iced tea; dumped her bag and outerwear onto the living room sofa; and joined Volkner at the table.
The surface was covered in papers, blueprints, and other miscellaneous things! Dawn believed were for the Sunyshore Gym now that she really thought about it. Cynthia had convinced (by ‘convinced’, Dawn really meant ‘passively threatened’) Volkner to keep the Gym ‘as is’ for another six months before renovating it as per League rules. However, no one said he couldn’t make up plans while biding his time…
Dawn took a sip from one of the cans before promptly opening the second can and setting it on an empty spot on the table closest to Volkner. He paid her no mind as he scribbled notes on a blank sheet of paper with a pen; blue eyes focused and voice down to murmurs. It was probably rude, but Dawn had a habit to watch the blond work whenever they were alone in the Villa. She would’ve stopped, but since Volkner has yet to dismiss her about it…
Burying the lower half of her face in her arms, the girl hid a smile when Volkner flipped through a bunch of technical diagrams before writing notes again. Unlike most guys she knew, Volkner’s handwriting was very neat; even on the items he’d say were ‘chicken scratch’. Only the shuffling of papers, scribbling pens, and iced tea filled the room with noise—it was quiet.
Eventually, Volkner put down his pen and sighed, running a hand through his hair. His eyes never left the floor plans of his Gym, but automatically, he reached for the second can of iced tea. Dawn’s smile grew when Volkner lifted the drink to his lips and took a long swig.
“…What?” he asked, finally looking at her when she started to giggle.
Dawn sat up properly with a shake of her head, helping herself to a sip of her own drink as Volkner stared with a raised brow. “Nothing.”
The man rolled his eyes as a response, though not without a small curl of his lips. He finished off his iced tea in another few gulps before continuing with his work. Dawn didn’t mind—she liked watching Volkner when he was ‘in the zone’.
Tranquil silence fell between them again—Dawn slowly downing her own iced tea while Volkner brainstormed a budget—but it was enough to make the young Trainer happy. She was with that special someone in this wonderful little Villa… The Shining Shocking Star belonged only to her.
“…Hey.” Volkner started shuffling his papers into a neat pile. “With how routine this is becoming, it’s almost like we’re married.”
Dawn—who was in the processing of finishing her drink—quietly choked.
“Just kidding. You’re still a kid, but give it a few years… Mmm? Dawn, why’s your face red? You sick?”
“N…No, it’s nothing.”

Title: Self Sacrifice Author: xEryChan Fandom: Pokemon Pairing: SoulSilvershipping (Silver x Lyra) Rating: G Note: Dare from matthew11. Criteria: a SoulSilvershipping drabble involving one of them sneezing. Lame title is lame but I couldn't think of what to call it.
"Are you okay?"
Lyra asked, looking at her boyfriend concerned. It seemed to be like any othe day in Silver and Lyra's house. Well, all except for one thing. Lyra just so happened to catch a Purrloin the other day and she was letting it stay outside of its Pokeball while they were inside, much to Silver's dismay.
See, Silver has never told Lyra one thing: he is allergic to cat hair. He didn't have it in him to tell her. He had never seen her so happy as he did when she was around that Purrloin. So he kept it to himself, not wanting to upset her.
He was regretting that he never told her that. It was really beginning to bother him and he didn't know if he could handle it.
You have to, Silver. He told himself. For Lyra.
He turned his head to look at his girlfriend and he nodded. "Yeah, I'm alright." He found his voice sounding even more congested then it was before.
"You don't sound like it." Lyra looked at him, completely unconvinced. "You've been sneezing like crazy all day and I'm getting worried, Silver."
"It's nothing to worry about, Lyra. I'm fine."
Lyra sighed. She was getting sick and tired of Silver acting like there was nothing wrong when she knew darn well there was. She knew he was allergic to cat hair, she's known for a while. That's the only reason why she even went out and caught a Purrloin. She wanted him to come clean and tell her about his allergy. It's not his fault, he can't control what he's allergic to.
"Are you sure?" It was evident in her voice that she was getting annoyed with her boyfriend.
Silver nodded. "Yep."
"Cut the crap, Silver!" Lyra finally snapped. "I know you're allergic to cats."
"How did you find out?"
"I'm not stupid, all the signs were there. Why did you never tell me about that? How long did you think you could keep that a secret from me? Did you think I would never find out?"
It was a stupid move on his part to keep that hidden from her, he knew that. He was going to tell her, he just didn't know when. But she found out all on her own.
Lyra stood up and returned her Purrloin to its Pokeball, not peeling her eyes away from Silver.
"I'm sorry, Lyra. I know I should have told you sooner but I saw how much you love that Purrloin and I didn't have it in me to tell you about it."
"You're more important to me then Purrloin is. I can live without it, I can't live without you."
Silver couldn't stop himself from smiling with what she told him.
Title: A Mouse and Cat's Playfulness
Pairing: Playfulshipping (Pikachu x Mew)
Note: Dare by HMSSparky. No criteria, and so this drabble is not limited to anything. Sorry 'bout the title. I suddenly suck at coming up with titles.
"Tag! You're it!", says Mew as it flew pass Pikachu from behind.
The electric mouse then knew exactly what to do; it used Quick Attack, but not with force.
Pikachu was about to tap its little yellow paws on Mew, but suddenly Mew vanishes. A few seconds later, after wondering where Mew went, Pikachu felt a light tap on its left shoulders.
"You can't catch me!" says Mew. It used Teleport before Pikachu could tag it. It was about to fly away once again to distance itself from Pikachu, but suddenly,
"Tag! You're now it!", Pikachu appeared before Mew. It seemed that the electric mouse used Double Team. The Mew was surprised, and suddenly had an idea.
Pikachu was about to run away, and stopped in its tracks as it heard, "I'm tired..." Mew said. Pikachu then grunts on the sudden exhaustion the pink cat Pokemon expressed. It had no choice but to rest with Mew, even though it had more than enough energy to keep playing.
Pikachu then sat beside Mew, laid back on the fallen trunk of a tree behind them and watching their breath-taking view in front of them. They were on the top of the Tree of Life. The sky was blue, the clouds hovering in the air like big Altarias soaring through the sky, the trees and flowers below and around them dancing, the forest singing, everything about what their view is astoundingly beautiful and peaceful.
Mew then rest its head on Pikachu's right shoulder. The mouse Pokemon, though its cheeks are already red, still blushed heavily as it felt the pink Pokemon's head. It then felt the urge to rest its head on the other, which it did, and they both drifted into peaceful slumber.
Title: Incomplete Author: Mizz Nikki Fandom: Pokemon Adventures Pairing: Agencyshipping (Black x White) Rating: G Note: This is a drabble I had written and posted here but it was lost after the downtime. Also, this contains spoilers from the final round of the BW chapter of the manga so if you have no idea what happened, I suggest that you do not read this.
Life can be really hard sometimes.
If there was one life lesson White had to learn the hard way, that was definitely it.
Black is gone. He was trapped in the light stone and there was nothing she could do about it. She could do nothing to help him because the stone disappeared and she had no idea where it flew off to. That was worst part of the whole thing. Watching helplessly as the stone fly off to who knows where and to possibly never be seen again.
All she wanted more then anything was for Black to come back. Without him, she felt empty. Like a part of her was missing and she just did not know if she would ever feel herself again.
All she wanted to do was crawl up into her bed and cry. She felt so helpless and inadequate.
She hated feeling this way. She couldn’t stand the thought of Black being trapped in that stupid stone. She especially could not stand the thought of never seeing him again either.
How she hated Ghetsis with a passion. How could he do this to Black? Cause him to get trapped. He has a goal and he has dreams. It just was not right and if the man was right in front of her, she probably would kill him with her bare hands.
White let out a disappoint sigh and looked up at the sky, sadly. Where are you, Black?
Title: Bet on Couture Author: MonMonCandie Pairing: KalosShipping (Calem/Serena) Rating: PG Note: Drabbe dare from shadowmilotic. I hope it's good!
Spoiler:- 947 words:
He didn’t think things would turn out like this. Calem knew he had a pretty calm head on his shoulders, even outside of battles, but what in the world was he thinking when he took on a bet…only to lose. It wasn’t just any loss either—it was a loss against her; someone Calem had yet to best in a Pokémon battle. He just wasn’t thinking.
Running a head through his hair and falling back in his seat, Calem closed his eyes. The music of Lumiose City’s infamous boutique filled his mind in an attempt to distract him, but it just wasn’t working. Shopping was hardly a priority for him, but apparently, Serena had plenty of time to be both a Trainer and a fashionista…
“Tada! What do you think?”
Calem opened his eyes by the time Serena stepped out of the change room. There was a smile on her face—bright and expectant—when all of Calem’s attention went straight to the outfit she was wearing. Serena wore a sophisticated blue vest over a white blouse with quarter-length sleeves. She was also privy to skirts (like always), wearing a pleated, blue colored one, but Serena was modest enough to wear white, knee-high socks and she completed her look with a navy blue felt hat. In other words…she was stunning.
Suddenly, Calem heard the girl giggle. “I’m guessing by your speechlessness, it looks great?”
Calem quickly blinked out of his stupor, attempting to regain his composure as he stood up from his seat and dusted off his pants. “Or I’m just quietly calculating how much this is going to cost me…”
That broke Serena’s cheery attitude as she puffed up her cheeks. Rolling her eyes, she whirled around to face the mirror, adjusting the hat on her head. “Yes, yes. Don’t worry; I already said I was going to pay half—”
“No. That would just break the conditions of the bet,” he retorted, tucking his hands in his pockets. “I lost our battle fair and square… I’ll pay for the clothes in full.”
“Now you’re just making me feel guilty.” Spinning on her heel, Serena immediately began to reprimand Calem. She placed her hands on her hips, scolding. “Calem, I was joking when I said you had to buy me something from Boutique Couture. The clothes here are insanely expensive!”
“Yeah—I’m well aware, but I don’t really want to go to Snowbelle City with you just to buy that trench coat you were talking about the other day.” Calem didn’t miss how Serena froze with a blush of her cheeks. Ah, it seemed he was getting better at reading her on a personal level… Calem couldn’t help but smile. Tipping her hat and catching her attention again, Calem continued. “Don’t worry about it—a bet’s a bet. Besides, you’re not the only one who earns a daily allowance at the Battle Chateau.”
Serena still didn’t seem convinced, but luckily, she decided not to make a fuss. Pulling off the hat with a sigh, she nodded, walking back into the change room. “Fine—but let me pick something within a reasonable price range.”
He blinked. “You don’t have to do that—”
“Hey, I’m trying to be cost-efficient on your wallet—”
“—I like what you’re wearing.” When the girl fell quiet, Calem continued with a neutral face. “Earlier, you asked me what I thought about the clothes and I didn’t actually answer you. They look nice on you, Serena; so it’d be a waste if you didn’t get it.”
Again, Serena simply kept to herself. Calem tried to understand why she was so…speechless when he was only being honest. Plus, if Serena starting trying on other things, Calem knew they’d be in the boutique for hours. Finally, Serena’s eyes moved to the floor as her bottom lip stuck out, making the boy wonder why she was pouting…and feeling extremely embarrassed as she disappeared into the change room.
Frowning, Calem crossed his arms before hearing giggles some feet away, spotting a pair of girls whispering to each other as they flipped through jackets on a rack. Their eyes… It was obvious they were looking at him!
“I wish my boyfriend went shopping for me!”
“That girl has a sweetie for a boyfriend too.”
…Wait, were they talking about him? Did they think he and Serena were…?
Eyes widening in realization, Calem quickly turned away while trying to keep the blush off his face. Well…at least, now he probably understood why Serena was flustered moments ago.
“Here.” Before he could catch himself, Serena suddenly dumped the clothes she had been wearing earlier in his arms; Calem didn’t realize she was already out the change room… Brushing back her honey hair, Serena sighed. “Don’t complain when you see the subtotal… Though I put away the hat and socks; I don’t really need them.”
Calem quietly nodded, adjusting his hold on the article of clothes. As he followed Serena to the cash register, he couldn’t help but keep his eyes on her figure. Calem would be lying if he didn’t think her pretty, but he never thought about it from outside the perspective of a ‘friend’. It was different somehow—a good different.
“Hello?” Serena asked, tilting her head with a raised eyebrow. “Are you okay, Calem?”
…For once in his life, Calem was thankful that Boutique Couture was so expensive. “If the subtotal is more than what I normally earn at the Battle Chateau, we go on a penalty date.”
Serena nodded absentmindedly before his words truly sank in. She stopped walking and gawked as Calem reached the till. “W-What? Calem! Hold on! What does that mean!?”

Title: Unrelentless Requests Author: Mizz Nikki Fandom: Pokemon Special Pairing: Franticshipping (Ruby/Sapphire) Rating: PG Note: Dare from shadowmilotic. Criteria: a Franticshipping drabble that has Ruby trying to get Sapphire to wear ORAS May's contest outfit.
Spoiler:- 345 Words:
“You gotta be kidding me.” Sapphire was red. Not just red, bright red. Her face matched the color of a firetruck, literally. “There is no way, in Arceus' name, am I putting this thing on.”
In her hand, she held a pink dress that Ruby had given her and he wanted her to put it on. She kept saying no, she did not want to put it on, but he was adamant. But there was still no way she was putting that ugly dress on, she was two seconds away from losing it and doing something that she knew she would come to regret if he kept hounding her.
“Come on, Sapphire.” Ruby pleaded. One thing about Ruby that she could stand about Ruby is that he is relentless. He would not give in, no matter how many time she said no. “Please. I had this dress made especially for you and I want to see how it looks on you.”
“Are you crazy?!” Sapphire shouted. “Why in the world would you have a dress made for me when you know darn well I hate dresses?” She didn't just hate dresses, she absolutely despised them. She hated wearing, she basically hated anything having to do with them. But the only thing she hated more then dresses was the color pink. The two things she hated more then put into one item, it was a recipe for disaster.
Sapphire was two seconds from losing it and flipping out on Ruby.
“What is wrong with you?” Sapphire screamed at him, which was quite frightening to Ruby. Sometimes Sapphire wondered what she even saw in him. He drives her crazy.
“Absolutely not, Ruby.”
“Come on, please.”
Ruby then started to look at Sapphire with his pleading eyes, which he always did whenever things were not going his way. He knew that those eyes were Sapphire weakness and she would not be able to resist them.
But Sapphire would not budge. “No! Now stop it! I know where you live and I will murder in your sleep.”
Title: A New Look Author: Moonlight Amaryllis Fandom: Pokemon (games) Pairing: Roxanne/Brawly Rating: G Notes: Insultingly late response to shadowmilotic's prompt at the Shipper's Truth or Dare Thread. Prompt was about new clothes. Yeah.
Spoiler:- A New Look:
"L-Listen, Rox, I'm fine with the way it is already, so I don't see why--"
"You're a professional Gym Leader, you need to dress the part! You walking around like that has gotten on my nerves. I have had enough."
Brawly groaned at the schoolgirl' words, but didn't fight her as she lead him into the boutique. She strutted forward quickly, strong and focused. She was a woman with a mission, and she was going to fulfill it.
She yanked on his sleeve to put his attention back onto her.
With a start, he turned to face her directly. Roxanne adjusted her tie before coughing, making him stand up straight. For a "student", she sure behaved like a bossy " teacher".
"If you are planning on making a good impression on your young Trainers, you need to show that you are ready and prepared for the task of battling. You respect it as a career, and you show it." she lectured, waving at the different garbs. "So, for the love of everything, please pick something a little less..."
She paused for a moment, as if searching for the right word.
Brawly crossed his arms. "A little less...unprofessional?"
"Crude, I suppose." she finally said, as if he hasn't spoken at all.
She frowned. "There's all kinds of things to wear here. You just have to pick what you feel reflects what you think would help your image, and what you're comfortable with."
Brawly sighed at the schoolgirl before turning around to gaze at the aisle. Begrudgingly, he ended up finding something to his liking.
I have a bad feeling that it won't match her image of "professional"...
He buried his face in his hands. Finding a new look was harder than he thought.
Title: Fire In His Eyes Author: Moonlight Amaryllis Fandom: Pokemon (anime) Pairing: Ash K./Satoshi x Serena Rating: G Notes: Drabble dare from Blood Red at the Shipper's Truth or Dare Thread, dare was to involve AmourShipping and Charizard.
Spoiler:- Fire In His Eyes:
Her hands were shaking as she mounted. It wasn't that Serena was unfamiliar with riding Pokemon; no, she was actually very familiar with such things. The issue was that she was not riding a relatively calm, old Rhydon, bit a young, wild fire dragon that had been giving her the evil eye since she had first met it.
So, when Charizard leered at her as she attempted to reach its scaly back in order for her to ride it it, she decided the safest route of action would be to turn around and explain to Ash that no, this was a terrible idea, why did you think that this was?
But alas, Ash was not known for letting something go, for giving up, so when she had suggested that they just, you know, not, he didn't give up on her. He just calmed down the cranky Charizard.
"It's not you, I swear. He's just awkward around strangers. Once he gets to know you, he'll like you. Just be cool, okay?"
No, Ash. That's not that problem. The problem is that its a giant fire-breathing lizard and he wants to eat me.
"Don't be silly. He's a softie on the inside. Aren't you?"
(Here, the fire dragon huffed, but to Ash's nervous laughter).
"He'll warm up to you. Just wait."
Serena knew she should've just said no. She should've just said, No, Ash, I don't want to try this again, but she didn't. Something about the fire in his eyes when he introduced her to the fire lizard, something about the flaming respect that shone in its, well, she might as well get used to it. Serena should just adjust and move along.
Placing a light hand on Charizard's snout, she whispered, "Hello."
Her voice was quieter than it should've been, but she was scared.
The fire lizard just gazed back at her, seemingly both cross and disinterested in her words.
Yet its eyes still had that blaze she had grown to like.
She could trust it, right?

Title: Failures, Together (I know, sucky title) Author: Blood Red Fandom: Pokémon (anime) Pairing: PaulxUrsula Rating: G Notes: Drabble dare for SilverLining554. Challenge: 'write a drabble about any ship as long as it comes from the Sinnoh Region'. Well, here ya go!
Spoiler:- 850 words:
"Grr...that good for nothing, two-bit..." I snarled as I stormed off to a nearby park. I'd lost the Grand Festival to my blue-haired rival. Seriously, she was nowhere near as good as me! How come she takes all the victories?! Maybe she just bribed the judges...or messed with the scoreboard somehow! Yeah...that must be it.
Finally, I reached the park after 15 minutes of walking. I sat on the bench, playing with my beautiful hair. That blue-haired freak could just wish her hair were as glossy and shiny as mine...but who am I kidding? Maybe she is better than I am...
"Stung by your loss?" a monotone voice said.
"Huh?" Behind me stood a guy with purple hair and clothes to match. He was handsome, in a rugged 'bad boy' kind of way. I knew I'd seen him before, but his name was escaping me...wait, I remember! His name was Paul! For some weird reason, he started to smirk.
"I guess you finally recognised me," he commented in a slightly humorous voice. He then came to the bench and sat next to me. I might've pushed any other guy away, but Paul had a reputation of coldness, unlike his equally-famous rival Ash, my rival's friend. I wondered what he wanted to say. Finally, he sighed. "Rivalries...can be tiring, isn't it?" I blinked. What?
"Um, yeah." I replied carefully. All of a sudden, my loss crashed down on me. I was here, almost alone because of having my dreams crushed. "I thought I was so much better, much more skilled...but she always takes the victory from me...always." I felt my eyes sting a bit, remembering what was supposed to be my best moment. "I was supposed to be a star up there, shining among the best" I blinked away a few tears, "...but I got humiliated instead, got my best moment taken away from me..." for a few moments, he spoke nothing. Just when I was starting to think that he left, he...placed a hand on my shoulder! Was he...comforting me? I looked at him, seeing understanding there.
"I...know how you feel," he said. What?! He was Paul, the Paul! He hardly ever lost, how could he feel like me...a failure? "You've heard of the time I challenged Brandon, right?" I nodded. Everyone had heard the story of Paul battling one of the strongest trainers alive. But why would he feel like a loser there?" You heard that he's had only one loss in his career, right?" I nodded.
"Yeah, it was some trainer from Kanto, right? I even heard he refused the title of Brain..." I scoffed. "What a fool..." Paul put his head down.
"What if I told you I knew the trainer?" he asked. Wow, really? The 'Frontier Challenger' was supposed to be televised next month! "And what if I told you that I knew him very well?" Okay, now I was interested. No wonder was strong, he knew all the right trainers. "What if I told you..." he groaned, "that he's the best friend of your worst rival?" Okay, WHAT?!
"You mean Ash is..." he nodded. I was stunned! The unofficial 'Eighth Brain' was in Sinnoh and was traveling with my rival? How?! He looked at my shocked face and…chuckled! How dare he?! Suddenly, his face turned bitter and sad again. Wow, bipolar much? After a moment, he spoke again.
“I did some research on him, then got some information on his Pokémon. Corpish, Swellow, Noctowl,” those sounded like some really cute Pokémon. Then…why were his hands shaking? “Bulbasaur, Squirtle, Sceptile, Charizard…” By now, I could see his hands shaking in rage. Man, what a strange guy. I decided to break him out of it.
“Hey, I know his Charizard and Sceptile sound powerful…” I comforted, “but you’re Paul! You can handle a Bulbasaur, or…” I became silent as he glared at me.
“He used that Charizard, Squirtle, Bulbasaur and Pikachu…” he growled in anger, “to beat Brandon!” Okay, that I wasn’t prepared to hear. “He did with two unevolved Pokémon what my best couldn’t do…and that Charizard of his…” he shuddered again, this time in horror. “is said to be so powerful, some say that he could beat the entire League with that one Pokémon.” he spat. He gave me another look. “And you know what’s worse?” I shook my head, wanting him to continue. “Even after I pushed him, riled him up for a reaction…he went easy on me!” he raged. “I can tolerate defeat…Hell, I know the best of us lose! But to be underestimated…”
I don’t know what came over me. Maybe it was how I connected with his feelings of failure, maybe it was my own despair that made me do it…but I took his face into my hands pulled him close and gave him a rough kiss. I didn’t know why I did it and why I didn’t pull away, but when he grabbed me and pulled me in…
It felt like we were two failures, together.
Yeah, it's kinda cheesy. Still, I did my best.

Currently, both May and Brendan were on Brendan's Latios, which he had mega-evolved while they were in the air, and they were soaring all across Hoenn. She could see everything, every single city and town in Hoenn from up in the air. She had no words to describe this, it was just absolutely incredible.
Never would she forget this experience in her life.
She pushed herself closer to Brendan, tightening her arms around his middle while looked down at the sea. The stars from the sky were reflecting off the water and it was beautiful. A flock of Wingull and Peliper flew right next to them and her face just lit up.
Brendan looked over his shoulder and he smiled when he saw the big grin on May's face. "So, you having fun?"
May turned her attention to Brendan and nodded. "Yes, I'm having a blast. I can't even thank you enough for this, Brendan, but I'll try. This has been such an amazing experience and thank you so much for bringing up here with you."
Seeing May so happy was enough to make Brendan happy. She's literally the best friend he's ever had and he couldn't think of anyone better to bring with him while he went soaring on his Latios. He knew she would have enjoyed herself and that's why he decided to bring her along. "You don't need to thank me, May. I'm just happy you decided to come along."
May could not stop herself from blushing. It was true, she had developed some feelings for Brendan. She tried to deny it, thinking there was no way she could have been attracted to him at all but eventually, she came to accept that she had a crush on him. There was no way she was going to deny that anymore.
She knew she should confess her feelings to Brendan but she was scared of what he would say. She could not stand the thought of him telling her that he did not feel the same way that she did so she kept it to herself.
"I just need to thank you for everything you've done. You saved the world not only once but twice. You're amazing, Brendan."
Now it was Brendan's turn to blush with that comment. May was wrong to think Brendan did not feel the same way she did. He did. He cared about her just as much as she cared for him but he was too afraid to tell her for the very same reasons why she was afraid to tell him about her feelings.
Title: Too Close Author: Privilege Fandom: Pokémon Pairing: Barry x Dawn x Kenny Rating: PG Note(s): A drabble dare from JSLatios involving a love triangle between Barry, Dawn, and Kenny. Enjoy!
Dawn stared blankly at the seat beside her; Barry, a one-sided rival to her distant friend, Ash, had asked her to see a movie with him, to which she replied with a less than enthusiastic 'yes'. To ease her tension, she's invited her childhood friend, Kenny, along, too. He hadn't shown up yet, which made Dawn nervous that Barry might try to make a move on her. She shuddered at the thought.
"Hey, DD!" she heard Kenny's voice at the end of the aisle. He was hushed by multiple people. Dawn beckoned him over to the seat next to her, and he shuffled past his fellow moviegoers before plopping himself down next to Dawn. "No popcorn, DD?" he asked disappointingly.
Barry entered the theater with a bucket of popcorn in one hand, and a cup of soda under each arm. His face twisted into a scowl when he noticed Kenny; "what's he doing here, Dawn?!" he hissed. Kenny stood up, but Dawn waved her hands frantically, "knock it off you two! We're going to get kicked out if you don't behave!" Both boys huffed in defeat, and sat back down. Dawn sighed in relief.
It had seemed like she'd squashed whatever fight was going to take place, but not until a particularly frightening scene made Dawn jump in surprise. When she had settled, she felt two arms wrap around her protectively. Barry and Kenny both glared at the other, and Dawn sweat-dropped at the impending brawl.
Title: Forever and Always Author: Privilege Fandom: Pokémon Pairing: FlyShipping (Skyla x Winona) Rating: PG Note(s): A drabble dare from Vycksta involving FlyShipping and spilled hot chocolate. Enjoy!
"Winona," Skyla breathed as she laid her pen down and began to read the love letter she'd written for Fortree City Gym Leader. She took a sip from a steaming mug of hot chocolate as she scanned the page in front of her. "I can't send this to her," she said hesitantly, placing the note back down and taking a swig from her drink. It was a good letter, despite Skyla not considering herself a writer, or a romantic, in any way, but that wasn't the problem: Skyla hoped her feelings would be reciprocated, but she had doubts; she didn't want to be rejected.
Skyla sighed and reached for a picture of her and Winona soaring through the clouds on their bird Pokémon. It had been much simpler back then, when she didn't have such a childish crush on one of her best friends, and her heart didn't yearn for flying-type trainer. "it would be best if she read it, though," Skyla thought aloud. She'd rather confess her feelings and risk their friendship than spend the rest of her life wondering what could have been if she had just been honest.
"Alright, I'll send it to her! I'll send it to Winona!" Skyla shouted, jumping suddenly to her feet, and knocking over the lukewarm beverage. She stood at the desk, frozen, as the liquid stained the stark white paper dark brown.

Title: Luminescence Author: SilverLining554 Fandom: Pokemon Pairing: AdvancedChampionShipping (Brendan/Steven Stone) Rating: G Note: Drabble dare by xEryChan. I had like no inspiration, so I'm sorry that it's not the best!
Brendan tried his best not to break out into laughter as he stared at the outside of his good buddy Steven Stone's home--twas the season, and the older man had strung Christmas lights everywhere, all on his own by the looks of it (the lights on the roof looked as if they had been stapled in a hurried fashion). However, that wasn't what was so hilarious about it, no, not even a mere half of it.
The lights were shaped like rocks.
That was right--red fire stones, green leaf stones, yellow thunder stones, and a bunch of other colors representing all the other stones rare to their region. Brendan couldn't say that he didn't expect this; this was the same Steven who had insisted on the two of them and May dressing up as mega stones for Halloween, and baking Thanksgiving pumpkin pies shaped like sun stones, after all.
"So what do you think?"
Brendan blinked as he remembered that Steven had asked for his opinion, allowing a small smile to slip onto his features.
"Uh, it's..." he started, biting the inside of his cheek to prevent himself from laughing, "very like you, Steven." The older man hummed, closing his eyes and nodding, a proud smile plastered on his face.
"You're saying that it's beautiful--like me--right?" he asked teasingly, grinning. Brendan flushed, rolling his eyes, ignoring his question.
"Well..." he said, the corners of his mouth curling up more, "it's kinda nice. I, er, like the colors of everything, I guess." Steven blinked, turning towards his companion.
"...The colors," he mumbled. Brendan cringed at the flat tone of his voice, blushing bright red--was that the wrong thing to say? He really didn't know.
"Yeah, they, uh," he replied, staring at Steven's face for a moment, "make your skin look...really pretty." Steven raised an eyebrow, and Brendan mentally cursed as he realized how stupid that had sounded; he really wasn't good at this kind of thing, giving compliments that made sense. He had only spoke what had been on his mind.
And in his defense...the lights did make Steven's skin look pretty; they made it appear like red, blue, and green colored porcleain, but softer. In fact, Brendan was almost tempted to reach out and touch it, to see if it was really as delicate as it--
"My skin. Pretty." Steven laughed, interuppting his train of thought. "Are you hitting on me, Brendan?" The younger boy blinked, rolling his eyes.
"Ha, you wish," he replied, grinning and nudging him. Steven laughed, reaching down to pat the top of Brendan's head, their eyes meeting in the process. The older man was smiling warmly, his steel blue eyes reflecting the lights and Brendan's own image in them. Brendan was slightly unnerved by how close the two of them were standing, and he could feel the heat in his cheeks growing with each second they stared at each other. The moment seemed intense, too intense for Brendan's liking as they continued to gaze into one another's eyes in silence.
So he reached up to gently swat Steven's hand away, deciding to disrupt whatever had been going on between the two of them in that moment.
"Get your hands off of me," he said, ruining the mood, keeping things platonic. Steven chuckled, turning towards the door, reaching into his pocket to grab his keys.
"You know," he said as he unlocked the door, "you never did tell me what you really think of the lights. Brendan paused, considering that. He didn't, did he?
"Ah..." he started, stepping inside with Steven, smiling. "I guess I like the...luminescence of them." The stone-collector hummed in approval.
"Now that's a better answer," he murmured, switching on the lights. "Would you like me to make some hot chocolate?" Brendan nodded eagerly--hot cocoa sounded especially good right then, probably due to the fact that they had been out in the cold for quite a while.
Okay, let's give my thing a shot.
I wrote it based on a topic I posted on the AmourShipping thread. It's currently in the process to be turned into a multi-chaptered fic. Link's on my sig.
Title: "Party in Pallet" Author: Sp1derp1g Fandom: Pokémon Pairing/s: AmourShipping Rating: K
Okay, party in Pallet. Lots of food for humans and Pokémon. Everyone's there. Even Team Rocket, for some reason. After arriving home, Ash and Serena are surprised by everyone. Soon after, everyone starts congratulating Ash ("I knew you'd win eventually!", "I'm so happy for you, Ash!", "Ash-y boy won a league championship? Something's wrong with the world..."), and Serena just looks, a bit upset, but happy because of her boyfriend's success. Then Brock says, well, something Brock-y: "How were the girls in Kalos?" Ash's brain doesn't even process that and looks towards Serena. Brock notices this, nudges Ash with his elbow, and says with a knowing smile "You dawg...".
Delia, who stayed behind watching Ash being bombed with questions, approaches Serena. Serena notices this and introduces herself. Delia does the same and thanks her for taking care of her Ash.
May approaches Delia and Serena, and introduces herself. Serena comments that Ash talked about his friends a lot and that he said good things about her. May states that Ash told her great things about Serena too, and that he thought the two girls would get along easily...
Dawn leaves Ash's side to get near Serena. She looks the new girl up and down with a frowny face, only to smile and say, "he has good taste, I'll give him that...". May interjects, "What, you had doubts?" And all the girls start laughing, save for Serena, who's sweatdropping...
Prof. Oak enters the scene. "My, you've certainly grown, Serena. Last time I saw you you were this tall." He says, moving his hand to his right and below his waist.
Serena addresses the professor. "Okido-san( I love saying Okido-san), how are you?"
"I'm good", the professor replies. "Busy in my work, as always."
Delia cuts in. "Sorry, Serena, but you travelled around Kalos with my Ash. Did he treat you well?"
"Yes, he did." Serena says.
"Oh, I just had a thought!" Prof. Oak exclaims. "Ash, can you come over here, please?"
Ash tries to cut through the proverbial lake of people around him to get to the professor. "Guys, guys, let me through, please."
"Ash, Serena, I have a request to make the two of you. Summer's just around the corner, and despite the demographics here in Pallet are kind of descending, I had a brainwave. I want to reopen Pokémon Summer Camp, and I want you two there as camp counselors."
Ash and Serena's eyes open wide at the new information. Ash is just about to talk, but stops himself.
He turns to Serena. "You wanna do this?" Ash asks softly.
"Why do you ask?" Serena questions.
"It's where we met. It'd be amazing if we could return there and teach kids who are like we once were."
Serena thinks for a second, and says "Okay, I'll do it."
"You can count on us, Professor!" Ash reports, excited.

“Oh man. Where am I?” Satoshi said. He was lost in the region of Isshu with his best bud, Pikachu. Leaves dancing in the wind, trees nodding back and forth, wild Pokemon singing in the forest, he was… really lost.
“All my Pokemon are back in Okido Hakase’s lab. What should we do, Pikachu?” He said, looking at his yellow mouse on his right shoulder. The mouse Pokemon only shook his head in the negative. Just then…
“Hey, you! Let’s battle!” A girl said from a distance.
“Eh?” Satoshi said, turning to the sound’s direction. Not only did he felt confused with the fact that he wasn’t the only one lost, but also he was dazzled by the beauty the girl has. He then realized he was challenged to a battle, and shook his thoughts away.
“That’s right! When trainers’ eyes meet, that’s when they battle.” The girl said.
“All right! Let’s do it!” Satoshi said, with his fist high up in the air.
They both went to opposite sides of the grass field
“I’m Toko! And this is my partner, Jalorda!” She threw a Pokeball in the air. Light came from inside, and materialized into a Jalorda.
“I’m Satoshi! And this is my partner, Pikachu!” Pikachu then jumped from his right shoulder to the field, its cheeks electrifying with excitement.
“Begin!” Both trainers said.
During their heated battle, Satoshi was so focused on winning that he didn’t noticed he was being stared at by his opponent. Toko thought, “You know, he’s kinda cute when he battles.”
After the battle, Satoshi came out the winner.
“Thanks for the battle, Toko!” Satoshi said.
“No problem. Oh, and where are you heading? I’m kinda lost right now, so I might tag along with you.” Toko said, with a tint of red on her cheeks.
“About that… I’m… Kinda lost too right now hehe.” Satoshi said, scratching the back of his head in embarrassment. Toko fell down anime-style.
Satoshi helped her get up, and they were in the middle of the grass field, surrounded by trees, and the sounds of Pokemon singing in the forest.
“At least I’m lost with this person. I’m contented.” They thought.
... A meeting drabble... I suck at these...

“Well, we can’t let Satoshi keep waiting for us!” Serena said, catching up to Satoshi.
“Come on, guys. Hurry u-!” Satoshi crashed with another individual on his path.
“Yawch!” The person said.
“Whoops! Sorry, Mr!” Satoshi said, but was stunned at the sight of the familiar person. His jaw dropped when he saw another familiar one beside the person. And the most shocking part about that? They were holding hands.
“D-Dento! Iris!” Satoshi said.
“Whoa! I never thought we’d run into you here!” Dento said.
“Perfect timing as well!” Iris said.
“Perfect timing for what?” Satoshi said in confusion.
“Well…” Iris said, her cheeks in crimson red.
“Oh, I get it now! You two are-” Satoshi was cut off when the others caught up to him.
“Satoshi, why did you stop?” Serena and Eureka said in unison.
“Oh, hey guys! This is Dento and Iris. We traveled together in the Isshu region months ago. And Dento, Iris, this is Serena and Eureka. We’re traveling together here in this region. ” Satoshi introduced them to each other.
“It’s nice to meet you!” All four said in unison.
“Huuu, huu. Oh great! I caught up!...” Citron said, tired as usual from running a short distance.
“Oh, and this is Citron. He cooks our meals when we take a break from traveling. And he’s an inventor.” Satoshi introduced him to his former traveling companions.
“We’re gonna see a movie! And we’re late!” Iris said.
“Oh. Well then, have a good time! See yah!” Satoshi said, running towards his next destination.
“Ughh! Satoshi, wait up!” Citron said, staggering yet again.
“Oh, big bro. Slow as always.” Eureka said.
“Well, we can’t let Satoshi keep waiting for us!” Serena said, catching up to Satoshi.
"I'm glad I moved on from that kid." Iris said.
"I'm glad you did." Dento said.
Come on, guys. Be creative when giving drabble dares.

“Uh… Citron? What’s that?” Satoshi said. He really curious as to what Citron was inventing at the moment. An inevitable disaster awaits him, but it would be called a delightful moment on Serena’s side.
“Hm hm hm… It’s time for science to open up the future! Citronic gear, on!” Citron said, revealing his latest invention.
“Big bro… You could’ve named it better…” Eureka said.
“C-canonizer! This must be my lucky day!” Serena thought.
“What does it do?” Satoshi said.
“What does it do? It canonizes any ship I type in the machine!” Citron said.
“Let’s test it! I’m gonna type… Amourshipping!” Citron typed it in the machine.
Suddenly, a light glowed from Satoshi’s body.
“Whoa! What’s happening! I feel… giddy inside…” He said.
“… Serena…” He whispered.
“Y-yes?” Serena asked.
“I… I love you a whole lot!” Satoshi said, his face was scarlet red. He rushed to Serena, held her waist, and began to tell sweet things to her.
“Serena, you’ve been a great friend since we reunited. You’ve been there for me all the time. You’ve cheered me on my gym battles. You’ve been caring for me when I get sick. You bake those delicious macaroons. I just wanna say thank you and I love you for that. I want you to be my girlfriend. ” Satoshi said, closing in on her face slowly.
“Oh, Satoshi. I love you too.” Serena said, her face could’ve been mistaken for a Booster (Flareon) and slowly making her way to his face.
Just then, the machine was acting funny, and it began malfunctioning.
Smoke was visibly coming out of it. And then, light was brimming out of the machine, signifying its explosion.
“Oh no!” Citron and Eureka said, and ran for cover.
“Wha- what happened...?” Satoshi said. He then realized he was really close to Serena’s face. The latter was blushing madly and her eyes closed.
“Se-Serena! What are you doing?!” He said, pulling away from her, resulting to her crashing to the grass below.
“Aww! Citron! Why couldn’t you make your inventions not explode?!” Serena asked angrily.
“I’m really sorry! It’s part of science!” Citron said, sweat-dropped.

Rating:PG - T idk
Note(s): Drabble dare in the Shippers' Truth or Dare Thread from Blood Red
Clemont looked at Clembot with a grin, who was just standing in a corner. Now that he's back at his gym, there was no need for him at the moment, but he had to be proud of his first successful inventions. Suddenly, a fellow gym leader popped up in front Clemont, which shocked him a bit.
"Oh Korrina! What brings you here?" Clemont asks.
Korrina beamed at him. "I came here to visit you of course!"
Clemont blushed a bit when he heard she came all the way over here to visit him. He wouldn't think one as beautiful and brave as herself would've even considered it. "O-okay... but what about your duties of a gym leader?"
"What, we gym leaders can't have a break one in awhile? Besides, I think me and Lucario deserve it from all the butt-kicking we've been doing!" She pumped her fist up in the air, not realizing how close she was to Clembot, and punched his head right off.
Clemont's face dropped and he started to scream.
Korrina give him a confused look. "What?"
The head came back down and crashed into the robot's body, casing it to explode. The explosion caused Korrina to fly forward on top of Clemont.
Korrina and Clemont where motionless and quite for a moment. Then Korrina opened her eyes and saw Clemont still knocked out.
"Clemont? Clemont, are you okay?" Korrina asked. Then she started shaking him and shouting, "come on Clemont open your eyes!" A tear fell as she heard no response from him. Clemont was the only person who could comfort her and who she feels comfortable talking to, as she remember the day he lost Lucario, and how he cared for her. So she felt heart shatter thinking that she won't see him again. Korrina put her hands over her face while sobbing.
Then she heard a groan. "Korrina... Why are you crying?"
Korrina looked down, and saw Clemont's blue eyes looking back at her. "Clemont!" She put her face in Clemont's chest and said, "I thought... you were gone." She continued to sob.
Clemont gave her a confused look and concerned. "W-what? Well, I'm just fine, so there's no need to cry anymore, right?"
"Yeah, I know that..." Korrina sat back and started to rub her eyes. Then she looked behind her to see what happened. There she saw pieces of Clembot and other rubble that was caused by the explosion. "Oh man... Did I cause that?"
Clemont sat up as far as he could. "Well... yes. But it's no big deal. I can fix all this up in a jiffy!"
Korrina turned at him with a frown. "But this is my fault! I'll be the one to fix this! Don't worry, I'll replace everything once I get..."
"No, there's no need to replace anything! I got materials to repair everything, so it's fine!"
"Repair... Oh, right! He likes to invent things!" Korrina thought to herself. "Then... I'll help you repair everything!" she said.
"Huh?" Clemont wasn't sure what to think right now, as he was the only one to work on his inventions.
"Yeah, I'll help ya!" Korrina got up and went to Clembot's remains. "So... this looks like this goes here..."
Clemont looked away to hold in a laugh, as she was putting one of the robots feet in his mouth. He then got up and walked over to Korrina.
Then Korrina looked up at Clemont with a sad look. "You... really cared about this, huh? And I wrecked it..." Korrina's head went down. She could see how upset he was right before the explosion, and was upset with herself for doing that.
"H-hey! It's not that big of deal! I mean you didn't do it on purpose, and I'm just glad we are both okay!"
Korrina looked up at him with a smile. "True. I'm still really sorry though." She then picked up a leg and put it on the bottom of the head.
"Well, since you're so determined to help, I think I can easily forgive you. But we'll need to start fresh with him."
They finally got a new Clembot up and running and got the place cleaned up. Even though inventing wasn't something for Korrina, she enjoyed just being with Clemont and liked that he learned so much from him. Korrina looked at Clemont with a grin. "Well, it was nice hanging out with you, but I should get back."
"Okay! Well... you can come back anytime, you know?"
"Of course! And you shouldn't be shy about coming over to visit me!" Korrina gave him a wink. "Well, see ya!"
Clemont starred at her for a bit, then shouted, "right! See ya!" He watched as Korrina roller skate off out of view. Korrina is just so full of energy and has helped him enjoy life. So he was defiantly eager to go and visit her.
Then he heard his sister Bonnie shout, "Well, it's about time."
"What do you mean, Bonnie?" Clemont asked.
"You finally got a girlfriend! Duh!"
Clemont got red and stumbled back a bit. "N-no! Bonnie, its not like that!"
"Please. I saw her on you!"
"What are you..." Clemont thought about it for a second, but then remembered what she was talking about and blushed. "I-It wasn't like that!"

Title: Last Ride of the Year
Author: Scarlet Tactician
Pairing: Livecastershipping (Curtis x Rosa)
Note(s): Dare from Darato in the Truth or Dare thread.
Curtis sat nervously on the icy bench near Nimbasa's famous Ferris wheel, its neon lights remaining a visible beacon even through the light flurry of snow. His right hand, barely kept warm by a thick, yellow glove, clutched the two paper tickets tightly. He watched his condensing breath to distract him from his fears, but it did little good. Rosa had claimed it wouldn't be an issue to meet him here, but how could he know she wasn't just being polite? After all, it was New Year's Eve, and she was a famous celebrity thanks to being both a famed Pokéstar Studio actress and the Champion of the Unova Pokémon League. Surely, she'd be invited to many lavish parties all over the region, and perhaps even some outside of it.
It was true that Curtis himself was an idol, and "Christoph" had received his own fair share of invitations to celebrations and dances from the museum at Nacrene to quite a few skyscrapers in Castelia. However, the boy disliked being forced into crowded social situations and prefer to timidly hide in the back, limiting himself to more personal conversations. Rosa, however, was the polar opposite- she gladly accepted at the opportunity to be a part of a huge crowd and speak to as many people as possible. Still, even she needed her quieter moments, and that was often when she came to Curtis. They'd just talk about their favorite music- he liked rock, though she seemed to fancy pop- or their favorite Pokémon- Curtis had a soft spot for Clefairy, but Rosa preferred her Zoroark she received from a "good friend." Curtis wasn't used to just being treated like a person rather than something much grander, and now that she had experienced some fame herself, Rosa was starting to become the same.
But surely, it was New Year's Eve. She wouldn't want to waste her time in a place with a person she could see all year round, would she?
Curtis's watch flashed the time- 11:50 pm. He sighed, realizing that their meeting was not happening, when suddenly, he heard the chirp of an Emolga. Looking up, he saw the outline of someone walking through the snow. She stepped into more visible lighting, revealing herself to be none other than Rosa with her Emolga, Nimbus, perched on her shoulder. Curtis struggled to contain his shock. "Rosa!? I thought you'd be attending a dozen parties right about now!"
Rosa chuckled, tugging her scarf slightly down so her voice could be heard more clearly. "Well, yeah, I attended one, but I chose one in Nimbasa so I could be with you when the clock struck twelve!" "But I thought you'd rather watch the ball drop in Castelia?" asked Curtis. "Well, that's cool, but I've seen in before on television! I've never entered a new year on the Ferris wheel before!" Rosa's face lit up, and Curtis couldn't help but smile back. She gave him a nod. "Well, what are you waiting for? We better get on that ride so we're at the top right when we enter next year!"
Title: Eyes on Me Author: Privilege Fandom: Pokemon Pairing: Captain America x Ash (?) and PokeShipping Rating: PG Note(s): A drabble dare from Darato. Criteria: a drabble of Captain America and Ash. Wasn't very specific, but I had fun writing this nonetheless.
Ash and Misty had just eaten dinner, and were on their way to the movie theater. "What movie do you wanna see?" Ash asked. Misty shrugged half-heartedly, and kept staring out her window absent-mindedly. "You haven't said a word to me all night." Ash said with a hint of desperation, "it's hard to keep up a one-sided conversation, you know?" He chuckled nervously.
They walked up to the theater, and Misty glanced at the movie posters adorning the entrance. "Don't even think about it, Misty," Ash hissed. "What are you talking about?" She asked, puzzled. "You wanna see a chick-flick. We're not watching that!" Misty rolled her eyes, "actually, I was thinking we could see the one with Captain America?" She said with a slightly flirtatious tone, linking Ash's arm with her own.
"You do like Captain America, right?"
"O-Of course... Who doesn't?"
Title: Pie-eating Contest Heroes Author: Satoshi & Touko Fandom: Pokemon Pairing: Othelloshipping (AshxHilda) Rating: PG Notes: Not a dare. I just wanted to get some Othelloshipping on here. This is also on my fanfiction account, along with other Othelloshipping stories!
Spoiler:- Othelloshipping Rocks!:
"All right contestants. Take your places! It's time for our special Oran Berry Pie-eating contest to begin!" Don George announced.
To celebrate the Nimbasa City Battle Club becoming known as the greatest battle club in the Unova region, the head of the club decided to celebrate by having a special pie-eating contest. The contestants all took their places, but once everyone saw that a certain two competitors have entered, they were instantly intimidated, even if they didn't show it.
"All right Ashy. This is the day you're eating abilities will finally be known as second place," said a brunette female teenager who was one of the feared players.
Ash did nothing but chuckle. "You may have beaten me before in pokemon battles, but no one ever has been more of a glutton than me. You don't stand a chance, darling." Ash was the other majorly feared entrant.
"On your marks," Don George began.
Ash and Hilda wasted no time and were right into their share of the pies. Everyone was given ten pies to make sure that there were enough for even the most amazing participants.
Ten minutes later, Ash and Hilda had both eaten three of their pies. There were twenty total participants and ten of them had already fallen with three quitting even before they could finish one. Ash and Hilda were barely even ready to slow down at this point never mind stop.
Another ten minutes went by and those remaining only had five pies each left to eat. Only four contestants, including Ash and Hilda were left as of this point. Everyone was experiencing some pains, but Ash and Hilda had watched a television episode before that featured a yellow-haired boy that had a head shaped like a football, and remembered what his grandfather said about how to do well in an eating contest. They knew how to win!
Just two more pies per contestant were left to be eaten, but now only the feared power couple, Ash and Hilda were left. They may have been a couple, and had a history as old as their lives, but they still would never show mercy to one another in any competition.
They were finally working on their last pie, but about the time they were halfway done with them, a buzzer sounded off and that signified that time had run out. Sadly, even for Ash and Hilda, there was just no way to be able to finish all ten pies. They had even forgotten that there was a time limit, but sure enough, the judge had walked over to see what the results would be.
He looked at the two partly-eaten pies, and declared that both of them had eaten exactly, precisely nine and a half pies.
"Ladies and Gentlemen. The winner, or should I saw 'winners' are Ash Ketchum from Pallet Town in Kanto and Hilda White of Nuvema Town!" the judge announced.
The crowd erupted into a world of cheering as Ash and Hilda were both led to the podium to collect their trophy.
As they were at the podium, they were both groaning in pain from all that food, but they did their best to smile for the camera. The cameraman was about to take their picture, but he noticed that there was a large piece of pie on Ash's face, near where is left cheek was.
"Um, sir. I know you just ate a ton of pies, but take this cloth and wipe your face, so you can look nice in the picture," he said.
"Sir, don't worry about it. I'll take care of it," Hilda said. The cameraman just stood in place, wondering what Hilda would do. His question was quickly answered as Hilda placed a passionate kiss on his cheek where the piece of food was, taking in the pie piece while breaking the kiss. Afterward, the now blushing Hilda and Ash got back in position for the photo.
"Oooh…kay. Good enough," the cameraman said and then shot the picture.
