I have a prediction that since Season 13 was only 34 episodes Magna Pacific will release it as a box set instead of two 3-disc DVDs.

Makes waiting alot easier. I hope they release season 13 at the end of the year but I can't help feeling they could easily stall it to next year.=(

There's only a matter of time till the 2nd set of season 12 is put onto sites for preorder. Not sure when but the classification boards have updated with it last week.

I'm hoping they'll update with movie 13 soon but there's no signs of it still.....

turned out to be accurate for Volume 1 (well, one day off... but close enough) so I guess that's when to expect the next batch of DVDs. Maybe it'll include movie 13. Maybe the long-awaited Chronicles set. Maybe a pointless repack of Battle Dimension.

I'm so buying the blu-ray DVD's of both those movies and I don't even care that I already have arceus in stadard. I can finally have some blu-ray pokemon DVD's.=D

I guess I'll have to buy the season 12 complete collection. Really weird about the lack of collection 2 but then again they might want to get everything out as fast as they can now seeing as DP arc nearly over.=/

I'm going to be so poor in June.

June 1st is going to be a very expensive day. They'll probably add a Galactic Battles 2 set eventually, it'd be a really dickish move to not release both halves of the season.

... I am really getting irritated.

I already replaced S1-5 because I did not like the Zipper Pouches, the only choices at the time. S2 has issues with the Lapras episode.

I just caught up to S8, only 9 to go until the DP series. S6 seems to have audio issues as soon as it hits Advance, sounding like you are in the booth with them, not a properly edited audio track. I have never watched Adv before, so I don't know if that is just how it is, I suspect it is not though.

I can live with that, what is getting me is the now near continuous C1-C2 OHLOOKHERESADIGIPACK!. First DP, now DP:BD, not even 4 years old or in 'retailer unfriendly casing' like the Zipper cases, and top put the icing on the cake, the not-even-finished DP:GB. Jeeze luise, I was hoping DP would just stay uniform, now I feel obligated to rebuy DP and DP:GB. I sure as hell am NOT 'Digivolving' my DP C1/2 and DP:BD C1/2 until they are on sale at JB, that's for sure.

Magna, I am really happy we get Pokemon here, but jeeze luise, if you have all intentions of releasing digipacks, just hold out until the damn networks, I believe Pokemon may have the 'It has to air first/recently' crap CN pulls with Madman, get their asses together.

Will buy Zoroark on Blu though.

I wouldn't count on it. What's the point? If you want it badly enough, the Digipack is there. It's not like it's not available. I suspect they are like single issues of a comic now. You COULD buy them, or you could 'trade wait' for the Digipacks.

The first hint we got that Pokemon DVDs were coming out on June 1st was that E-mail Atreyu got from Magna last October saying "GB Collection 1 March 1st (March 2nd in the end) and Collection 2 June 1st." Magna will eventually update their website with further details abut the releases (probably sometime in April or May) and give each one their own page. We'll know 100% then whether there'll be a Collection 2.

Either way though, I'm glad I did wait before jumping haphazardly into the first season 12 release we got. Hopefully they fix the issue of DP121-131 not being in widescreen. But the re-releasing annoys me slightly, too. Because I've got the Battle Dimension C1 and C2 sets, but digipaks of everything else.

Also, I find it amusing that the digipak of season 10 still has the "Minor imperfections due to the age of the original materials" disclaimer on the back.

Magna Pacifc treat all their cartoon series poorly, and couldn't care less about quality at all. With a majority of their cartoon series incomplete, more recent cartoon series not released in the correct aspect ratio, offering poor video quality for all titles, and lacking any extras at all. Plus Magna Pacific often add small amounts of new content to their DVD collections (i.e. Fantastic Four: WGH, Peanuts, Pokemon S1), to force people to buy their titles again.

Don't expect Magna Pacific to fix any issues in their re-releases, especially the lack of correct aspect ratio.

Pokemon season 10 isn't that old, and should have excellent masters available. Sounds like Magna Pacific just used some broadcast masters for their DVD releases.

Aside from the lack of closed captioning though, Magna's Pokemon releases are still a million times better than Viz's US releases. Which is why I assume most people are still happy with what they put out despite being rather poor excuses for DVD box sets.

Really? o_O

I so want to watch it since it's a movie on free to air TV even though I have it on DVD. Except waking up at 6am is a pain though I have done it before especially for Digimon on the other channel in the past...........

I'll keep it in mind and see how I feel when the day gets closer.^-^;;;;;;

That's a pretty big move by Channel 10, I don't recall them ever showing a movie of any show before.
I'll probably just tivo it, can't be bothered getting up so early :P

Hopefully them actually showing a movie leads in to them showing Movie 13 (with a preview of Black and White of course.)

Something I thought was quite interesting, on CN finishes their run through of Galactic Battles tomorrow at 8:30, starting from Wednesday the 8:30 am time slot will be Battle Dimension while the 4:30 pm time slot will be restarting Galactic Battles, considering 10 is airing Diamon and Pearl on weekdays and Sinnoh League Victors on Saturdays, we will have all 4 DP series airing at practically the same time.
