PokeShipping (Ash x Misty) Discussion Thread

So, I'm kinda watching the new episodes on CN. I skim through 'em every once an awhile. I notice with Dawn, she seems to be really concerned with Ash whenever he's battling. And in one of the recent episodes she even put on a small cheerleading skit to cheer him up.

As I was watching I was thinking "I wonder why Misty never did that?" After I mulled it over, I realized as much as Misty supports Ash that's not her style. She gives support and encouragement (and an occasional wry comment) but she chooses to express her support for Ash in other ways.

Mistys more like to not only cheer on for Ash, but also stand up for Ash no matter what happens. Remember when Ash went up for Jeanette Fisher and Misty had to snap Brock out of him swooning over Jeanette?

Misty: WE'RE HERE TO ROOT FOR ASH!!

XD, I wonder if something like that could happen at the Sinnoh Confrence ^_^

Totally Misty has her own style to support Ash Misty worries about Ash remember when Ash was bumming over his lost in the Indigo League? Who was the one that wanted to cheer up Ash? Misty. Also Misty isn't the type who comes in a pink cheerleading outfit and does a little skit. Now that i think about something I have a new topic:

I think she will come to Sinnoh League with Ash's mom and Prof. Oak. She will give him some advices, some nice words and just sit on tribunes. She will cheer him in her heart, with all her heart.

Last time she gave him encouragement in the form of a present: Her lure; which apparently made quite an impression on Ash. She might give him another gift like something precious of hers, an article of clothing or her bike. That'll be hilarious!

She'll cheer Ash on all the way, especially when it seems that Ash is at his last rope. With her support, he'll dominate and defeat all who stand in his way.

What arc of the show is your favorite for Pokeshipping?

Like I said before, I prefer the early episodes. The Orange Islands were great, but I liked it better when Misty had a more active role in the show. I liked seeing her help Ash figure out everything. Plus it was great when they still argued all the time. That was cute.

Heyyy all! I'm in cheery mood today so lets begin with the endless awesomeness that is pokeshipping! (btw, I'm feeling more hyper about this ship than I have in a loooong time.)

I think she'd challenge him.. if you can call that cheering him on.. But thats just who she is I guess. She'd give him advice he may have grown alot from the loveable loser he was to what he is now [... what IS he now?] but he's still not perfect.

The first one~ [yeah... she only followed him cuz he broke her bike...yeah.. suuuure] i just like the way they fought.. And even from the start I could see the pokeshipping starting to happen ;D

Also does anyone else LOVE the 'spurt' opening because of that queen of hearts thing?

I agree, the Indigo League. Not only for the good all around Pokeshipping moments, but there is an incredible amount of humor in it.

Oh. It's hard to choose one, but I think Orange Islands is the best. With entire Pokemon 2000 movie. There is Danny, Rudy and Melody with all adorable hints.

Married. And, prolly traveling together. Just the two of them.. Cuz Ash'll never stop chasing his dreams and Misty won't ever stop lovin him <3

Oh-Yeah that is cute quite interesting because well Ash's mother on there is understandible but Misty on there insted of May makes me conclud that the writer were still on Pokeshipping even in Hoen plus those one or two mention and few apperences by Misty to add up no one has completely forgotten her and I'm sure it's the same with Ash still so happy with his lure i wonder if he still has the hankercheif .... but now that this mentions i want to bring this up...

I'd say they're right. Keep in mind, with any hint people will see both extremes of it. I doubt Misty expected Ash to realize her love for him when she gave him her fishing lure. I like the hint because its a gesture of affection. We know how Misty loves those lures (Mini-Misty, as she described them) and giving it to Ash shows she really trusts him. It's a good thought.

Of course married. Living somewhere in Kanto. Maybe in Viridian City. Ash as Gym Leader. Misty his wife. Ah, wonderful.

Yes, that's right that gift from friends (at least officially), but it's very important thing for us - Pokeshippers. And we have a lot of other hints obviously saying that Misty loves Ash.

Misty in Curlean (however it's spelt) while Ash is a rocking Frontier Brain/Champion while Misty's happy for him but they're not married. :P

Theres two: The original Indigo Arc and the Johto League Champions arc, where the Indigo Arc started everything for Pokeshipping where Johto League Champions showed us on how Pokeshipping has blossomed and bloomed, especially during the Whirl Cup Championships where Misty got herself a legitimate win over Ash and then we also have 'Gotta Catch Ya Later'. ^^

The Lure and Handkerchief are not only gifts, but also momentos from Misty to not only symbolize Ash and Mistys maturing friendship, but to let Ash know that no matter how far they are from each other, Misty will always give Ash her support and love. ^_^

Where do you see Ash and Misty 10 years from now?

Ash and Misty are married, with a twin son and daughter, touring the world to show their children the excitement that awaits them when they turn 10. ^_^

The lure seems more like a friendship thing, especially since everyone else gave him something, too. But it was more significant that Ash was so possessive over it. The handkerchief... it's kind of hard to say. I mean, they're usually a romantic gift, but the way Misty gave it to Ash wasn't especially romantic.
