Yeah. I think it's really create not directly as a hint but the heart is something cute indeed. However, it's nice Ash uses his pokemon (instead of Brock use his pokemon ) to save Misty.

If it was Brock who saved Misty, then it would be whatever kind of shipping is for Brock X Misty.

On the other hand, for some reason, last night, I spent part of it searching for good fanfics about PokeShipping in Fanfiction.net!

I would do the same but there have been a sudden increase of Cs fics lately, kinda put offing for me. ahaha.

Heh. Well, considering I cling to a heartshaped freeze-frame from a different couple and a different fandom as a legitimate hint, I'm going to appear mighty inconsitent and say that I think this one is a coincidence. I can't really see much of a way that the animators could've drawn the two vines meeting to lift Misty up without there being some sort of heart shape.

If it was Brock who saved Misty, then it would be whatever kind of shipping is for Brock X Misty.

It's Mewtwo Strikes Back first trailer. Probably movie was not ready when they made this trailer. Trailer is very interesting. We can read in the description:

First some explanations: The original pokemon Anime serie was programmed to finish after an half-year season with Ash becoming the champion of Indigo League,following the original plot of the game.
The first movie,MewtwoNoGyakushuu(the counterattack of Mewtwo)/Mewtwo VS Mew for short,was originally created to be a sort of "final" for the serie,and as it can be seen here it was different from the actual canon-version.

Then in this trailer is shown the original ending of the serie,with and adult Misty and a child that is probably Ash/Misty's daughter.Ash is not present,probably still following his destiny as a champion of the league in distand lands....leaving Misty and their daughter alone looking at the sky.

But the serie wasn't over in this manner, so it must be seen as a "non-canon original ending"
What pokemon Anime's ending will be now....only time....a lot of time will tell.

She probably gives her Ash's Pikachu. It's funny, but I think, the most important thing in this trailer is the song.

Placement, I like that idea and the trailer and song was done well too, but there is one part of your explanation that doesn't seem to make any sense.

Yes, Ash would be dead after this point in the movie, however, your kinda missing one point in logic here. That being how would the movie end? Who would have stopped the mew vs mewtwo battle? Unless mewtwo would have changed his mind about humanity and decided that his way was wrong, then...well humanity would have been done for after they hit ash. I wouldn't disregard both ideas, but for the most part animes especially one directed towards children, yes, even in japan normally end on a happy note. So, I would think that ash more than likely would have survived and continued living and possible had a child with misty, since that would fit with more anime continuity. It is a heads up though, but the idea isn't half-bad.

You're right. It's just my way of thinking, . I found two versions of the interpretation of this trailer and I prefer version with the death of main character. The truth about this trailer is hidden. We can only guess what could happen.

yeah i can't say that your wrong or that i'm wrong or that we're both wrong on this. It can be taken several different ways, but i'm running with the logic that most anime movies that are like the final i have watched usually, if more often than not, end with some happy ending that gives us closure and that the main character (ash in this case) ends the conflict. It also kind of makes me think of the third pirates of the caribbean in the after credits where will turner is doing the davey jones thing (which can be ash still on his journey) and elizabeth waits with their child (in this case it would be misty). At least, its my interpretation of it, probably because its one of the few ways i would want to see it end.

Okay, just because I like happy endings, I'm just going to say that Ash became alive and Mewtwo did the no memory thing and AaML became true and Misty had a child and gave her Pikachu. The end. :P

Wow, that is amazing, sometimes i wish BW was like/similar to that plot. It just shows that pokemon was really meant to end at Kanto but i wonder what convinced them to continue, i really like the ending of the Mewtwo Strikes back description its so much better.

And i agree, that girl isn't Ash's and Misty's child. You have no idea how annoying that gets when some say it's their child.

Yes. It is definitely not Ash and Misty's daughter. I remember there was once a discussion and some say it's there child (but others say it isn't). Though that trailer is quite intriguing specially that child before I saw the trailer.

The lyrics somehow fits with it.. It's quite tragic if Ash would die in the end though.. (but I think it won't happened..I just don't know XD).

yeah i'm going with the girl in the trailer isn't their child based off two reasons. 1. The child doesn't look like either of them and 2. genetics would say that their child's hair would be either black or red (more red since it is dominant in hair color) which would beg the question of them knowing an ounce of anything relating to genetics. I'd never rule out them having a child, but the one in the trailer isn't theirs.

It probably was meant to end at kanto, but if they noticed how big pokemon did become they probably wanted more money and thus have a never ending franchise that repeatedly draws in new fans every few years with a new saga or game. It's like one piece, bleach, or naruto their never gonna end as far as we know.

If Ash and Misty both have a recessive allele for pink hair color in their genetic profile, they would have an ideal chance of one in four to get a pink-haired child (even though the allele for pink hair doesn't exist to my knowledge: it's an anime!). So if you're taking this in the scientific direction: a pink-haired child is entirely possible, it's just unlikely.

That said, the girl in the trailer still doesn't look a lot like either Ash or Misty, so I'm not in favour of that theory.

well apparently my color blindness kicked in there and my eyes thought her hair was brown, so since its pink my basis is completely thrown out the window. Still, the kid doesn't look like either of them so my basis will stand right there (Damn pink anime hair possibilities)!

well this would be a toughie since for guys it is either guitar or drums (sorry bass players, we know you don't want to play the bass deep down). As for a song, um, (goes through music library, now to google, finally looks up songs on youtube), I'll have to get back to you on the song.

I have heard that Mewtwo strikes back was supposed to be Misty's flashbacks. Misty was supposed to be the storyteller.
