Well, I think Misty just is short-tempered, that's more than just a sign of love towards Ash. But I think Ash would accept it. He loves Misty, that's all that matters!

Me too, I think most people in this thread know that.

I know Ash is way too unromantic for this, but I'll still ask: what would be a nice song Ash could sing to Misty as a serenade?

I am not a big fan of Dutch-sung music (but this song isn't terrible, but I'm not a big fan either), but I know this song, and Misty would love the lyrics, especially if the guy of her dreams would sing it for her.

I wonder .. how much percentage die hard pokeshippers are there nowadays? XD I could consider myself back then but compare to now..Not so much.

Ideas never die. It'll always live on as long as the original episodes are available to be watched, and maybe even without them.

As for the size of the fanbase, I'd say it's larger than it appears. There are only so many people who post on forums, write fics, make fanart, etc. There are probably a lot of people who just consume the art, the writing and follow the posts on forums.

Nice screenshots! And also, I think PokeShipping is still popular. In the poll of the "What Ash shipping?" thread, PokeShipping is the most popular, and I think PokeShipping more popular on this forum than it seems: some people support it but don't talk about it. I totally agree with you!

I used to be but then I moved on to some more up to date ash shippings, if misty does come back I might start doing this again. And on the internet it seems like the distribution is 80% pokeship, 7% advance, 7% pearl, 6% other.

I remember posting a question about what would be a good birthday present for Ash to give to Misty some weeks ago, on my own birthday, so now let's see what people would answer to this question in reverse: What would be a nice birthday gift Misty could give to Ash when it's his birthday?

A trip to a Pokemon battling tournament, some Apricorn Poke Balls or anything else having to do with Pokemon battling would be nice for Ash. And no romantic dinner, but going to Pallet Town to have Ash's mom make Ash's favourite food. It's not very romantic, but Ash would like it and that's what matters.

Thanks guys..*laughs* Besides of shipping Negai, I also ship SeaMonkeyshipping, which made me think that it would be so cute if Misty would join Ash and co. again. I would be a nice thing to see Ash getting jealous sometimes, specially when it's all about Misty with other guys..and that fanart is a cute scene if it ever got a chance to happened..XD
