Research Lab
Treepandaone: The man looks at you and considers what you have said. As he thinks, you wait in worry, unsure if your Cranidos would be brought to life soon or much later.
"Well I understand that you wish to resurrect your Skull Fossil," finally says the man, "But unfortunately, there has been a little mishap. Two nights ago someone broke into our lab and stole a key component to our resurrection machine. The part which was stolen scanned the fossilised DNA and used that as the basis for the resurrection. And to make things worse, he managed to blow up half the lab while he was at it."
The man notices that you seem disheartened by the fact that your Skull Fossil is not going to be brought back to life.
"But," starts the man, "We have ordered in a new part. Unfortunately, however, it won't be in for a day or two. But you are welcome to stay in our guest facility until then. By the way my name is Prof Collins."
You feel your heart sink as the professor tells you the news, but before you could tell the prof what you want to do a worker calls out.
"Professor Collins!" the worker calls out, "You might want to come and see this!"
Prof Collins gives a questioning look before he runs over to the worker. It seems that the worker has found something that of importance. Collins looks at whatever it is for a couple of seconds before he motions for you to come over. Quickly rushing over, you see in the ground a small piece of cardboard, a business card to be exact. Picking up the card you read 'You have been burgled by Team Rocket".
"Team Rocket," mutters Prof Collins. "Wait, I saw someone who looked like they were in a Rocket uniform. They were around the beach."
Taking this into consideration you have the choice of staying and waiting for the spare piece to arrive or you can go to the beach and see if there is a Team Rocket grunt anywhere around there.

Spovelli's Hideout
Fishyfool: In a slightly spartan way, your five pokemon charged at their opponents. Volcape jumps forward, opening his mouth and sending a long tendril of fire at Machoke. The Fire Spin constricts around the fighting type, not only burning him, but keeping him in place. Machoke struggles to free himself, but is only able to make a Scary Face at Volcape. The attack makes the Infernape falter, reducing his speed at the same time. Meteos' eyes begin to glow, ready to hold Breloom with a Confusion, but the kangaroo has another idea. The grass type shoots towards the Lunatone at Mach speed, Punching the lunar rock into the wall. Seeing this, Yakuza gives a squawk of fury before he belches out a large Firestream at Breloom. The kangaroo stares at the fire before it is engulfed by the attack, letting out a loud scream of pain as its weakness is exploited. Keeping Zeugnum under his watch, Wraith throws his arms forwards, a Bomb of Mud flies from the pokemon's hands and slams into Quilava. The fire type is sent to the ground, letting out a loud whine as it picked itself. A tad bit ****** at Wraith's actions Quilava starts to cough and, with a loud retching noise, it coughs up a Smoke Screen, the attack surrounding the Swampert. Ignoring what was happening around her, Zeugnum rushes at Electrode, circling the orb and confusing it with her Shadow Panic. Not being able to fully comprehend what is going on around it Electrode sparks with electricity and shoots out a Charge Beam, the attack completely missing all of your pokemon and hitting Snorunt. The ice type cries out in pain as it is shocked by the attack, retaliating by summoning up an Icy Wind. The wind somehow manages to miss all of Snorunt's allies, but hits all of your pokemon.
Forgetting Machoke, Volcape charges at Snorunt, jumping just before he runs into it. He Kicks his Flaming foot down, the fire attack sending Snorunt to the ground, unconscious. Seeing its ally go down, Machoke strains against the fire spin around it, breaking free of the restrains and grabs Volcape. It Tosses the Infernape up into the air with Seismic power, Volcape slamming into the ground with a sickening thud. Meteos turns his attention towards Quilava, before his eyes begin to glow. With a huge explosion the ground beneath the fire type burst with Earth Power, sending Quilava flying. Landing on its feet Quilava opens its mouth and belches out a large Flamethrower at Meteos. The fire engulfs the Lunatone, but actually does very little damage. Next up is Yakuza, the Honchkrow keeping his attention towards Breloom, once again exploiting its weakness by diving at Breloom with a Drill Peck. The grass/fighting type lets out one last cry before it faints. Level up for Yakuza. Zeugnum and Wraith both turn towards Electrode, deciding to attack in synchronization. As Zeugnum Leers at the electric type, Wraith grabs a huge chunk of the ground, squirts water on it to make it Mud and throws it at Electrode. The combination of attacks sends Electrode back, but it still has a lot of energy left. Deciding to take the defensive over the offensive Electrode lets out a ear-splitting Screech. With this round over,

Pele's Ruins
Firewater: Deciding on the most obvious choice, you and Barry start to run after your two pokemon. As you run down the path, you can't help but wonder what is going on and if it is a result of the 'curse' of Pele's Ruins. Barry runs beside you, his breathing sounding quite heavy, but he is trying his hardest to keep up. The path seems to never end, going on and on, the end of it never appearing. After what seems to be a century you finally see the path end, as well as Paradise and Pelipper.
"Pelipper!" cries out Barry, running towards his pokemon.
The bird turns towards her trainer and glares at him with red eyes. Barry stops in his tracks and nervously backs up to you.
"They're still that way," says Barry, obviously worried about his pokemon. "Why don't we try and return them?"
You realise that returning them was a good idea and grab Paradise's ball. You and Barry hold out your respective pokeballs and try to return your pokemon. But nothing happens.
"Whatever has control over them must be stopping them from returning," says Barry, "I think we might need to weaken them before we can return them."
Not waiting for an answer Barry plucks his last ball off his belt and throws it into the air. When the ball hits the ground, it opens and releases the pokemon within. A large metal snake emerges from the ball, the Steelix awaiting its orders.
