Having a good idea of what Pokémon you have been tasked to defeat, you prepare yourself for the predictable Wild Bull stampede to come. What you might not have expected, however, is for the Tauros statue to suddenly glow with a lightly blinding aura; the illuminescence lasting a few seconds before dissipating. At this, the statue begins pawing the stand with its right hoof, and it promptly dawns on you that while you're definitely fighting a Tauros, it seems you'll be taking on the actual statue that embodies the celestial entity. As the entirety of Suruta's statue comes alive, rearing on its hind legs while it bellows with its three tails whipping snappily. At the sight, Myria appears to shudder, and as you watch his little body shake in what looks like fear you deduce the Wild Bull's Intimidate ability kick in at the start of the battle.
Roaring to the ceiling, the Tauros thunders down the pedestal on which it stood a few moments earlier, bringing itself into a Take Down at Myria. Quickly, the Thorn Pokémon starts whipping up his purple and black blossoms, spraying liberal amounts of Stun Spore as quickly as he can muster, forming a veritable cloud in front of him despite his diminuitive size. Unable to halt or change direction in time, Tauros runs through the collection of paralytic powder, and as you and Myria dive to the side you see the avatar Suruta's lips curl in affliction before it crashes resoundingly into the wall where you had been standing near only seconds ago. Sweating slightly, you watch Suruta pull himself from the wall, chunks of polished stone crumbling to the floor from the points of the Normal-type statue's impact, and while this happens Myria begins to execute his Growth technique, gaining a couple of inches and an increase in special attack power.
Snorting while it turns to you, Suruta begins raising his Tails, but instead of targeting Myria you're astonished to find the Bull Whipping himself instead. A state of unease fills you, and this is confirmed with a quick check to your PokéDex: habitually, Tauros whip themselves with their tails in order to heighten their willpower to fight. Both of you are getting souped up for this battle, but exactly how will you hold your own from now on?...
