dialga has a horrible fainting animation, it just falls over. you think that it would neal on it's knee or something and then fall over.

I hate the vaporeon model, I don't like it's pose and I hate all the little droplets of water around it, since when has vaporeon had little droplets of water falling past it. It really annoys me for some reason.

Feelin' Sleepy
Some of the attacking animations are more awful than the resting model. I hate Lucario's one, y'know, when using like Close Combat or something; he just runs up and flails his arms oddly. Also, Armaldo's eyes seem two far apart for some reason, like it's head is wider or something. Also, I don't think anyone's actually mentioned it yet, but all the fainting models are arguably bad because they just run back to their resting place before fainting. I also agree that the previous-gen models are worse. I mean, some of the 4-gen ones are interesting (Honchkrow has an epic faint), whilst a Pokémon like Rapidash just falls over after realising it can't stand up. Anorith's eyes also look like pictures that just follow the camera. And Charizard isn't bulky like it should be and stands funny - and it looks pointier than Porygon.
So, yeah, I like PBR and all...but it looks like they spent more time and that darned announcer than the actual Pokémon...

They had over 500 models to put into the game. A model takes a lot more work than a sprite. If they had re-made all of the old ones, the game probably would have taken much longer to come out.
