This episode was kind of weird. Plus, I didn't like how Brock knew who Team Rocket was even though he never met them before.

You know, they were smart in saying Clefairy and Clefable were from outer space, it paved the way to have an inordinate amount of Pokemon from other planets and the such.
Very Interesting Episode to say the least.

I didn't particularly like this episode for the fact that it just didn't hold my interest. Bits and pieces of it, I will admit, caught my attention, but it wasn't a favorite of mine. I liked the Clefairy; I thought they were really cute. And the part where some of the Clefairy evolve after being exposed to the Moon Stone was pretty neat.

Meh episode was alright. Brock caught a Zubat and that was pretty cool. But I found that Seymour guy to be rather annoying. He seemed obsessed.

I liked this episode. It had a pretty decent story line and it's the first episode that features Brock traveling with Ash. Anyways, the story was good. I don't ever really care if Team Rocket is featured in an episode or not, but in this episode they were used in a pretty good way, wanting to get the Moon Stone from the Clefairy's. The guest star Seymour also played a not so much important role but a good role as a friend of Ash and ended up staying with the Clefairy's. It was a very good and adventurous installment.

Bit of a strange one, i don't understand why the Clefairy only evolved when they put all the Moon Stones back together, i would have thought the idividual stones would make them evolve.

I remember watching this episode 10 years ago. It was very cool. I enjoyed the battles in this episode. I still remember them.

I kinda wish we'd seen Brock catch that Zubat... I didn't like Seymour. He was far too wacky for my tastes. Between the excessive glomps and over-the-top gesturing... yeah, didn't like him.

For me, the best part of the episode was right at the end, where they see the sign to Cerulean city was graffiti'd by Gary. "Gary was here, Ash is a loser." By far, the most memorable thing about this episode.

I loved Clefairy's cuteness in this episode <3 I also remember loving Staryu when I was little...
I was shocked when Brock caught a Zubat, I didn't even see him catch it 0_o it was kind of random. Team Rocket is just...well, we'll leave it at that. The Clefable were so cool in this epi, it's kind of a shame that we don't see them that much anymore....definitely a forgotten Pokemon.

Interesting to see Mt. Moon in the anime, it looked very much like a volcano would.

I loved that Brock caught Zubat, but disappointed that the battle was skipped entirely. I thought it was a dub cut but apparently it wasn't.

The Clefairy evolving into Clefable was adorable. Metronome itself was something awesome. 9/10

I remember watching this episode 10 years ago. It was very cool. I enjoyed the battles in this episode. I still remember them.

It's amazing to me how our memory can remember something as little battle scenes! I was sad to see that they didn't show Brock actually catching Zubat. Oh well.

Didn't really like this episode all that much. The Metronome attack and the Moon Stone evolution were the only upsides for me.

What was the random attack chosen for Metronome? I was guessing explosion, but not sure...

I found parts of this episode confusing. Like the whole thing about Pokemon coming from space...didn't it show some rocket ship-like thing? It confused me how Pokemon could get ahold of their own rocket. The part about Brock catching Zubat confused me too, because when he said he caught it outside the cave, I was just thinking, "What? When did that happen?"

Seymour did seem a little obsessed, but I think this made his character more memorable. I still remember his name and what his voice was like all these years later, which is more than I can say about other characters of the day.

I thought it was a pretty enjoyable episode. I would have liked to see Brock catch the Zubat, but that's all right. I enjoyed the battles Ash+Co. had this ep.

Also, this episode was the debut for Clefairy, Clefable, and Zubat, which is awesome.

I have a feeling he was less annoying in the Japanese dub. Unfortunately, I can't find a complete subbed version of the first season anywhere. I guess I'm sticking with 4Kids. </3

I love how Team Rocket just keep failing. And the Clefairy are so cute =3 Especially in their little moon dance. I also don't understand how Ash didn't know what Pokemon food was.... how bad is he? D=
Also, Seymour was indeed very annoying. Very, very annoying.
Nice to see the end with the Clefairy evolving and then doing their l ittle moon dance again. ^^ And lol Gary and his scribbling!

I just loved the theory of the "Pokemon coming from outerspace". Seriously, I laughed so hard when he said it in Japanese! x')
The scientist is really special, and this is renforced by his youth!
