Interesting to see Mt. Moon in the anime, it looked very much like a volcano would.

I loved that Brock caught Zubat, but disappointed that the battle was skipped entirely. I thought it was a dub cut but apparently it wasn't.

The Clefairy evolving into Clefable was adorable. Metronome itself was something awesome. 9/10

I remember watching this episode 10 years ago. It was very cool. I enjoyed the battles in this episode. I still remember them.

It's amazing to me how our memory can remember something as little battle scenes! I was sad to see that they didn't show Brock actually catching Zubat. Oh well.

Didn't really like this episode all that much. The Metronome attack and the Moon Stone evolution were the only upsides for me.

What was the random attack chosen for Metronome? I was guessing explosion, but not sure...

I found parts of this episode confusing. Like the whole thing about Pokemon coming from space...didn't it show some rocket ship-like thing? It confused me how Pokemon could get ahold of their own rocket. The part about Brock catching Zubat confused me too, because when he said he caught it outside the cave, I was just thinking, "What? When did that happen?"

Seymour did seem a little obsessed, but I think this made his character more memorable. I still remember his name and what his voice was like all these years later, which is more than I can say about other characters of the day.

I thought it was a pretty enjoyable episode. I would have liked to see Brock catch the Zubat, but that's all right. I enjoyed the battles Ash+Co. had this ep.

Also, this episode was the debut for Clefairy, Clefable, and Zubat, which is awesome.

I have a feeling he was less annoying in the Japanese dub. Unfortunately, I can't find a complete subbed version of the first season anywhere. I guess I'm sticking with 4Kids. </3

I love how Team Rocket just keep failing. And the Clefairy are so cute =3 Especially in their little moon dance. I also don't understand how Ash didn't know what Pokemon food was.... how bad is he? D=
Also, Seymour was indeed very annoying. Very, very annoying.
Nice to see the end with the Clefairy evolving and then doing their l ittle moon dance again. ^^ And lol Gary and his scribbling!

The scientist is really special, and this is renforced by his youth!

Worst episode in Kanto. The ides that Pokémon came from outer space was the only interesting thing in this episode. Seymour was so annoying that it's difficult for me to even sit through it. His voice was that annoying. At least Brock got some battle time in this episode.

The episode was ok. They went in a cave, saw a Clefairy, Brock caught a Zubat, Ash was there, Misty was there, Seymour was there, Gary was there, Ash is a loser, Misty is a loser, Clefairy is a loser.........yeah I don't remember this episode much. 6/10

Man how I miss this episode. It made me smile when I was little...

But Brock was not suited for a Zubat back then. But he is suited for a Crobat. Ahh, I miss Crobat, too.

Since this episode made me smile when I was little it gets a perfect 10.

The Scientist's voice....... urgh. I actually really liked the idea of introducing a Pokémon that is out of this world. It allows you to interpret more things about Pokémon and their history. It's also nice to see Team Rocket trying so hard but only to mess up again.

I wish we actually got to see Brock catch Zubat. It's a cool pokemon, at least show it being captured! Oh, well. At least a main character has one now. 7/10

Ash, Brock, and Misty reach Mt. Moon and rescue a Character of the Day called Seymour from a flock of Zubat, with Brock catching one in the process. Seymour ex-posits about the history of the Clefairy and their giant Moonstone, which Team Rocket tried to steal, and looking pretty cool doing so, but failed. We also see Misty Battle proper for the first time with her Staryu. After saving the giant Moonstone, Ash gets trolled by Gary when they exit Mt. Moon, and the gang races off to catch up to him.

One of the best Pokemon monents, I love this episode for it. However, not very nice that Brock catching Zubat wasn't shown. Seymour was really weird, but also funny. 9/10.

The episode was fine to me, but nothing that interesting for me.

Brock gets Zubat...off screen. I'm glad Zubat was added to the team, it's a favorite Pokemon of mine. Happening off screen gives it points for being different.

Seymour was a freak...and I don't mean the good kind of freak.

The episode was weird, funny, and adventurous.
