Well, nice episode. Team Rocket catching Shellder was funny, they shouldn't have let it bite Slowpoke's tail, but search for a Water Stone and keep it themselves, and evolve it. That would get Team Rocket a nice and strong Pokemon. Psyduck was awesome, epic and perfect like always. 10/10.

That character of the day was hilarious with his ancestry. I also loved the explanation of the Slowpoke and it's unique evolution method. One of those episodes that are not that spectacular, but still solid.

Was never really interested in seeing Slowpoke but seeing it together with Psyduck was what made this episode funny & the best.

This episode had some of the best quotes of the season. The whole "conversation" between Psyduck and Slowpoke had me busting my gut in laughter!

That is one fast Slowpoke. It's a shame Psyduck had to say goodbye to Slowbro. It was like the only Pokemon that truly understood it.

This episode was pretty good, and It has some funny moments. I liked seeing Misty in her White swimswit at the beginning of this episode, she was looking nice in it. This episode's COTD Professor Westwood(5) was funny, I liked how he kept talking to all those portraits and forget that the last potrait .... which was his own potrait. was himself. It's also funny when Ash, Misty and Brock were whispering about Professor Westwood being "a little enccentric", and Professor Westwood thought that they were Kidnappers! LOL.
Shellder biting on Psyduck's head was funny, Psyduck's headache blasting Team Rocket off was funny as well. Psyduck and Slowbro's interactions were odd. Oh well, they had almost same personality after all. Ash's "Psybro" joke was hilarious.

I found it weird how even though it looks nothing like a normal Shellder, the shell on Slowbro's tail is still referred to as one.

I was surprised that an expert professor like Oak was confused about why Slowpoke evolves via Shellder biting its tail. Seeing Seafoam Island was neat, although it's too bad that it was basically a big resort place unlike in the games. Anyway, I cackled at Meowth's anger over Shellder's tongue, as well as when he tried to steal Persian's milk.

Aww Psyduck and Slowpoke's weird friendship was adorable and professor Westwood sure was eccentric hee hee. I liked the beach scenes especially how Giovanni was relaxing while Jessie and James simply dug in the sand.

Me too. It sucks that despite her owning Shellder, she still couldn't keep Slowbro even though it should've been half hers...

Prof Westwood was entertaining and Meowth trying to steal Persian's milk was hilarious. I liked Ash's "Psybro" comment. 8/10

I'm glad that she didn't manage to claim Slowbro however cuz it seemed too strong for her, plus since Shellder was only the tail portion of the pokemon, I feel like professor Westwood was still Slowbro's rightful owner. :3

Prof. Westwood sounded like Meowth's old voice + my favorite scene was seeing Giovanni just casually tanning on the beach.

I love this episode! Slowbro is my favorite Pokemon, and James and Jesse talking while their body is covered in the parachute cracks me up.

Koduck got along so well with Yadon that I was almost expecting Kasumi to release him here. It would've been for the best.

My favorite part of the episode was that Westwood guy showing Ash & co. pics of him and his ancestors lol. I forgot entirely about Jessie and that Shellder until now.

This episode was great. It really gave Slowbro some spotlight. Not to mention it named about every positive and scientific aspect of Slowbro. Shellder was pretty darn cute too.

As a big fan of the Seafoam Islands, I remember being mad that instead of seeing Articuno in this episode, we got stuck with a Slowpoke and Shellder plot. I liked Professor Westwood's family portraits though.

Eh, Articuno was being saved for the 2nd movie. Back in Kanto, Legendaries were too exotic to be shown for more than a few seconds, anyway.

I think Westwood had Meowth's first VA, so that may explain it. And yea I also thought that Giovanni taking a vacation felt odd cuz we hardly even see him work.

Freezer was being reserved for the Lugia movie, so I wasn't too surprised by the fact that the Twin Islands lacked a Freezer subplot. Yadon deserved this episode because to be brutally honest, his debut episode on the island of giant Pokemon felt like a cameo. It just wasn't enough to give us a chance to see what Yadon could do.

It would've been hard to show Articuno here since the Seafoam Islands got changed into a tropical resort instead of an ice cave system.

I honestly couldn't have imagined Articuno showing up on the Seafoam Islands here and I'm glad that instead we got a simple episode focused on Slowpoke's evolution method. Speaking of which, I loved how the island was so festive unlike in the games.

The Twin Islands in the anime being tropical was a surprise, but my main gripe is that we only really saw the coastal section of the island here. I would've liked if Satoshi and the others had explored a bit more.
