I loved this episode, strangly. Yes, I know, fillerish. But I still liked it, even with it's below-par animation and such.

I think it has something to do with Poncho. I'm like, his ONLY fan. Pity he didn't join up with the group, 'cause it would have been fun having an older person with them. One thing though, he had WAY more than 6 Pokemon. I think if you provide a Public Service, you can have as many Pokemon as you want, providing that they are used for the service in question.

Eeeee....... Poncho in Ash`s group? Nah, he is quite old and I don`t see him with kids.
But he has cool Digletts LOL

Ummm.... this episode was pretty weird. I mean, I like it, but it had something about...ummm.... sex? First was one Voltorb and later a lot of Electrodes ^.~ ehem...
I`m wondering, which Electrode is a Father or Mother of them.
Oh, how cute shippy we can find there: Voltorb and Togepi

Yes; the scenes with Togepi and Voltorb were so kawaii!-^_^- Didn't really like Voltorb's voice in this eppie though; the one from the Fuschia Gym ep was so much cooler! *giggles at Togi's Metronome of the day* Who expected it to turn out as SPLASH of all things?! Poncho was a pretty cool character; plus he had a Dugtrio! You don't see many of those in the animé nowadays... Overall; 7/10.

    What's all this "he" stuff?

And I didn't think I was the only one to notice the change in Voltorb's voice. This was certainly one of the earlier examples of 4Kids getting lazy with the voice manipulations - you notice that in "The Ninja-Poké Showdown" (GOD, I HATE THAT TITLE) Voltorb's voice has an electric undertone and is sped up slightly; here, such is not the case. And that same episode (I'm not typing the title again) introduced Venomoth, whose voice was also electronically altered upon its first appearance and that altering was never applied again.

This episode isn't all that interesting, but it was interesting how Team Rocket was recruited to be the ones to take the electrodes out of the city and were almost able to get away with it.

I didn't like the episode, partly because Ash and Co were helpless in stopping TR

Poncho a guy so epic he doesn't need a last name. Very good episode I liked when Misty's expression when she found Togepi rolling around on the Voltorb. Really interesting that that they went with the invasive species angle with the Voltorb and Electrode, it only takes one before the whole ecosystem is out of whack. Also enjoyed Poncho being based off of Clint Eastwood.

An ok episode, pretty good but not excellent. Another of the many team rocket failures.

Watching this again i'm noticing echoes of introduced species and the problems they cause in the storyline with the Voltorb & Electrode, most noticeably the same way Africanized Honey bees came into existence as part of an experiment.

all those multiple voltorb voices are pretty annoying to hear, for the rest it's a good episode.

I noticed that, too... It's very disappointing.

I liked Poncho, actually. His method of using the Diglett to make tunnels to remove the Voltorb and Electrode was interesting... however, that was one screwy plot and there wasn't much else of interest, I'm sorry to say :<

Eh it was pretty good. Plot was kind of meh. I like Electrode though. I liked how they were threatening the town with exploding too :P

I liked the episode. As aforementioned it was a bit of a filler but hey, it has an anime Clint Eastwood in it!
Poncho is a cool extra character, love his beard lol

Such an odd Filler episode, and right after the Orange League too. I liked the whole Voltorb/Electrode part of the story and how they were everywhere in that town and the whole "Diglett digging holes", but it felt like an unnecessary episode after all the excitement of the previous episode. 4/10.
