Well, Arcanine sure was refreshing. It was nice to get them in Johto although I didn't like the fact they they appeared in a Filler.

Fire Stones played a vital role in this episode. This isn't the first time Team Rocket has been after rare stones. I think they wanted Mt. Moon's Moon Stone too.

I loved that Ash rode the Arcanine. Ash looked majestic lol. 3/10

Kira- Don't forget the Leaf stones in Grass Route, and all of the stones in Eevee, Flareon, Jolteon and Vapereon first episode appearance.

I liked this episode, Arcanine is a pretty cool Pokemon alongside Ninetales (I would like to see a Ninetales/Arcanine double team one day).

This episode was ok... Seeing Arcanine again was very cool. TR was such a pain in this episode, good thing they finally lost at the end of the episode. Ash's interactions with the Arcanine were very cool to watch.

This was probobly team rocket's most strategec plan yet. I've got something to say that bugs me team rocket runs away after they clearly were defeated why does sh still make them blast off that's kind of mean.

After seeing the fourth movie, I have come up with conflicting reports. Why does Ash scream when he rides Arcanine here and not when he rides Suicune in the movie? Suicune is clearly a LOT faster than Arcanine can ever be. Weird... 0_o

I think chronologically this movie comes before the 4th movie. The third movie fits into this season. The 4th is further on.

The Arcanine were cool to see, Team Rocket was cool in this episode as well. Ash riding Arcanine was cool. And, of course, Misty drags Brock away by his ear... 8/10 for a nice filler.

Bad animation in this episode. For some reason, I really disliked Ash in this episode. It's probably because he just reminded me of ow bad of a main character he is in this episode or something. Still, I really wish that this episode could've been better.

Really? I never thought about that. Since this was Jotho, I thought Ash didn't seem that strong at all.

I didn't mean Mary Sue-like in terms of his battling ability but by the way he acted in this episode with the Arcanine mastering. I suppose this happens in many episode though but it was particularly bad in this episode for some reason.

With all of the damn fire stones, I was hoping for Ash to get one of those. But yet again another filler of no use.

You know, for once was Team Rocket actually quite more dangerous than ever before. They actually had their strategy in holding on those fire stones The Arcanine's were great too and dang they were fast!

A good episode, The Arcanine were really cool to see. Nice to see the gang riding on them as well. It was kinda great how TR actually won for a while by getting the fire stones and capturing Pikachu. It was a nice change since they always mess up.

Arcanine is a really cool and majestic Pokemon. Which is why I like them so much. Their Extremespeed is funny looking. Their feet look like mini tornadoes. xD
