Finally in Olivine City, Ash gets to the gym to find a trainer with a Water Resistent Onix there wanting to battle. However this is not the gym Leader. It turns out the Gym Leader is taking care of her sick Ampharos. Can Ash help in any way?

It was a good episode.

It's pretty interesting how Janina put wax on her onix to make it resistant to water attacks. Yes, it was cheating, but I still found it interesting. This episode was okay overall. I liked the past history of the lighthouse the best. I also liked how Team Rocket sent Weezing into the building by launching a rocket into the place.

The episode wasn't at all bad, although I was annoyed (yet not surprised) by Team Rocket and their overconfidence of trying to be winners.

I loved Jenina's Onix, minus that she cheated for waxing it. And I love the part when Team Rocket surprised the twerps by letting Weezing do a Smokescreen attack on the entire lighthouse.

A good episode, putting water resistant wax on Onix was an interesting idea if if it was cheating.

Wow I am surprised they added the sick ampharos from the game. I didn't think it was that great, nothing really new except the wax and a teaser of amphy.

Jnina was quite the oddity... coating your Onix in waterproof wax has to be counted as cheating, right?

But I'm actually glad they incorporated the sick Ampharos from the GSC games. It's nice to see anime-game relations every now & again.

I thought this was a good episode. I thought that Janina was very smart putting waterproof wax on her Onix, even if it was cheating. I also liked the video game references that made in this episode. I was surprised to see the Battle Tower, and also the sick Ampharos. However, I don't like how Ampharos is called Sparkle in this episode, rather than Amphy.

Jasmine has always been my favorite gymleader, introducing a completely new type and all. But the way thing was kind of creapy..shouldn't that restrict Onix's movement because of the cold water?
