It was a sad news for me that Fushigidane left the cast since he was needed to calm down the group of Pokémon at Okido's laboratory. I think it is simply just a reason for Satoshi to store his Fushigidane in order to give room for Johto Pokémon. Generally this episode was awesome and nice to see that Fushigidane can actually be the one to stop the fighting.

I liked how they played up the drama just before the boulder came close to landing on Bulbasaur.
I say this because I knew the writers wouldn't just flat-out kill off a character like that.

I didn't understand why the Pokemon at Oak's place were fighting each other anyway; why did they start being aggressive over territory all of a sudden? Anyway, Team Rocket freezing in the blimp's freezer was funny, and Bulbasaur learning Dig was surprising. The flashback of Bulbasaur's past with Ash made me tear up a bit as well.

Wtf Bulbasaur leaving was so ridiculous and just an excuse for Ash to get a weak Phanpy later.

Bulbasaur's near death experience was intense and when the boulder fell on him I almost thought that he had died for real. 8/10

I thought that the warring pokemon subplot at Oak's lab was a flimsy excuse to get rid of Ash's Bulbasaur cuz it seemed so sudden. :[ I liked how Bulbasaur learned Dig to save himself from being crushed tho.

At least Bulba's peacekeeping skills were put to good use again. He was a natural born leader + I liked when he used Dig.

Omg my heart stopped when the rock fell on Bulbasaur! At least it was fun watching Bulbasaur leading the rest of the lab's Pokemon, but it was really sad for him to leave and I love the part where it rescued Oddish and learned Dig.

This episode has always bugged me, because of how perplexing the war between the Pokemon at Okido-hakase's laboratory seemed. I also thought that Fushigidane should've evolved into Fushigisou as a way of surviving the boulder, but I chuckled when the Rocket-dan got locked in the freezer.

It felt so sudden that Bulbasaur's leadership skills were shown again cuz we hadn't seen that side of him since early Kanto I think. I thought the decision for him to stay at Oak's lab was made too quickly is all.

What, Bulbasaur becoming an Ivysaur just to save himself from the rock? Lol, Bulbasaur showed us in the past that he was staunchly against evolving, though.
