    For Ho-oh The Bells Toll!

Heading through Ecruteak City, Ash & Co. discover it is up in arms...someone has stolen some of the bells used to summon Ho-oh. Ash & Co. team up with Morty and Eusine to find them...but when Suicune appears, Eusine is intent on catching it. Can he do this?

Probably one of my favorite eps EVER. So I'm commenting now.

We get to learn about Suicune.....with eye-candy in the process.

    Of course it's a favorite here. <3

As with "Entei at Your Own Risk!", the producers need to revisit Eusine. My idea for this would be to have Ash and the group going about their usual business, when they suddenly hear a loud Roar in the distance. The Roar came from Suicune, but this time with Eusine riding on its back. (Hey, Ash rode Suicune in the movie, so I know this isn't beyond them!) Then a battle ensues in which Suicune utterly pwns Ash's entire team with little effort. From here, you have all sorts of options. You can have Eusine tell Ash more about Suicune, you can get Ash and May riding Suicune, and unfortunately, you can also have TR involved. The possibilities are endless...

Overall, this was one of my favorite episodes, but I liked the Entei episode slightly better.

EDIT: This all assumes that Eusine FINALLY captured Suicune some time between then and now. (He had plenty of time to do it!)

Eusine needs to catch Suicune, yes. O____o; Otherwise he's gonna go postal. XD!

Awwww. Suicune-back Eusine! I love that idea. *needs to draw that*

Then maybe we could have Morty with him?

It's too bad they never did a follow up.

This was an episode that really made me want to take a shot gun and blow TR to smoking bits. Nothing is sacred to them.

Some people don't think it's funny that Exit 69 gets off on Big Beaver.

Suicune looks cool in that pic in the first post. It's my favorite legendary. Anyways, this was an okay episode. I think it could have been more interesting but whatever. And after seeing the Raikou episode, I like Eusine's Japanese voice much better than his dub one.

Agreed. Of course, having sexy guys (and possible Sacredshipping hints!) in it never hurts. >3

Never heard Eusine's original voice. ; ; Anyone wanna help a poor, unfortunate Oos and provide me with a clip? XD *dork*

I don't have a clip but I do have the Raikou special which has his original voice in it.

His English voice is too scratchy and his Japanese voice is too deep, I think. They just can't get that guy sounding good.

He sounds about a few hours away from starting his own holy war against anyone who befouls the Dogs. Or heck, any other Legendary.

I felt sorry for Morty in this episode. He's trying to calm his friend (boyfriend? I definately got those vibes) down, and Eusine screams at him and physically shoves him. And Morty's reaction indicated that this has not only happened before, but that it's fairly common.

"For Ho-Oh The Bells Tolls" I really like this episode. It gives a lot of info on the history of Pokemon, and has some intresting parts about Ho-Oh and the Legendary Dogs.

Team Rocket was stupid as usual, but this time they went to the point of destoying a sacred bell. I think Eusine had a good oportunity to catch Suicune if he didn't rush into battle so reclessly

    Overall Great Episode 8.5/10

Awwww. Yeah, poor Morty must get abused a lot. :0

    But they're still cute together.

And....I died when I saw this not only because of the yaoi vibes and the Eusine-y goodness, but because there's a SUICUNE!!!!!!1111oneoneidgjersuihgjkhghjorsg

    >3 I'm like....female Eusine over here. XD

He should have caught Suicune, but he got ahead of himself, just like you said. If I recall, he had seen Suicune many times before, so excitement should not have gotten the better of him. It would be nice to see him catch that Pokémon. After all, he's been trying since he was a child! I'd also like to see him riding Suicune. Imagine the antics there! I wonder what he'd look like up there... *points to sig*

This was about the only Johto filler I liked... Well if you want to call it a filler.

I'm sure there's another filler I like though, just can't think of it...

Team Rocket drove me up the WALL on this episode. -_-

Yeah, Team Rocket made me wanna burn in this ep. >> the only one who's supposed to try and capture Suicune is Eusine. XD I felt really bad for him at the end when he (like so many of us!) got roar-ed at. XD

Poor Eusine. I SHOULD WRITE A STORY. *gnaw gnaw*

I watched half of the episode this morning, but it's OK since I have it on my GBA Video. Morty and Eusine were cool, but Eusine was stupid when he wanted to battle Ash, great timing for a battle. Jessie annoyed me when she broke the Crystal Bell, she broke an ancient artifact!!!

He wasn't stupid, I would have done the same thing. When you're obsessed, you get nasty. SPPf-ers should know this by now <3

The one thing I couldn't get with this episode is why only a small part of the pokemon population was wreaking havoc after the one bell was broken. It seemed odd that only a large number of bugs and a couple of grass types would be causing the problems. Even if the forest was mostly full of these pokemon, you think at least the birds or something would have gotten involved. Maybe the crystal bells were like one of those seals in the book of Revelations, where one bell breaking only causes one part of the pokemon world to wreak havoc. Of course, maybe I'm just overanalyzing the episode, but it strikes me as odd.

There were a few scenes I liked in the episode, like Team Rocket's unique motto and gengar pulling on Eusine's face (ROFLOL ), and it was great to see Morty again. Overall, a pretty good episode.

P_B isn't the only satisfied fan here. This episode is pure ownage to me because of......GLIGAR!!! OMG, so many Gligar, all flying around the screen! So cool! So aweome! So powerful! So. Bloody. Brilliant! If the Gligar had poisoned Team Rocket, I would've been even happier. Nothing would please me more than watching TR get poned by a group of Gligar . Of course, it already happened in the first episode, but I'll never get enough!

Aside from the total fan service(different from fanservice, remember that D=), this was a great episode. Raikou, of course, was totally shafted in faovr of Suicune, but since Eusine was here(and quite excellent he was), that's a given. Suicune is great and all, but we never see poor Raikou. Meh.

Tangela were here too. I'm a happy man today =D. Taking into account I saw A Relicanth Really Can this morning, that's three of my favorite in one day =D Lucky me!

Team Rocket were actually important here, rather than the usual nuisance they usually are.

I liked seeing Parasect again, too. They aren't very commonly seen, sadly. Ariados suffers the same neglect, so seeing both of them is good.

It's been ages since I've seen Morty, so I must say, he has a pretty cool dub voice. His Gengar is great, too, teasing Eusine like that. Holds true to its mischievous personality.

Eusine's character was quite well-portrayed as well. it would've been so easy to skip over his obsession, but the writers held true for us and gave us that obsession.

On the downside, Alakazam was rather poorly drawn in this episode. Oh well, no episode's perfect.

    Overall rating:
    9.3 out of 10

Great episode, and not only because of the Gligar and Tangela abundance(<3).

Yeah, he's definitely better here than in the Raikou special. Does he remind anyone of a certain someone else? A certain P_B, perhaps? XD *shot*

This is my favorite episode out of all the episodes ,so mysterious ,so sacred. And to top it of ,Suicune Howling or Roaring whatever you want to call it ,was simply awesome. This is/was the first time you see interaction between the normal pokemon(in the wild) and a legend. And the reated like they should ,they were so scared when they heard suicune they all fled!!(or was it just the affect of roar???) Anywayz suicune sounds awesome ,just compare it to the entei cry ,that was just lame.
But 1 thing I dont understand is that when eugene tries to capture suicune ,ash and co warn him not to. But in the entei episode they encourage that lil boy to keep on trying to catch enteiż? Double standard? Is suicune more legendary then entei? I dunno

I thought this episode was really good, I have it on my GBA Video and I watch it over and over again. The part where Gengar pulled Eusines cheecks was really funny.

I felt bad for Eusine when he failed to catch Suicune. I loved Suicunes roar as well.
