Excellent episode, I loved how both Charizard and Snorlax were in this episode and how stronger Charizard became after his stay in the valley. I thought Ash made a smart choice in getting Snorlax from Professor Oak. Misty's Gyarados fear was showing! I thought the fight between Pikachu and Gyrados was pretty good. The fight between Charizard and Dragonair was awesome! I was surprised that Charizard's fire evaporated all the water in the pool.

It was an awesome battle. Even Snorlax had a hard time against Kingdra. But, when Gyarados was trying to bite Pikachu, I wondered how could it hurt since its move didn't close? Charizard vs Dragonair was really cool as well. I liked how Clair took control when Charizard used Seismic Toss. Using Dragon Rage was really smart. Flaming Seismic Toss was smart.

Snorlax made this episode for me. It acted like a total "beast". Attacks bouncing off and the new Ice Punch made it awesome; plus, it's one of my favorite Pokemon.

When water heats up enough for a long amount of time it evaporates, so that didn't surprise me at all.
I do think Ash made some really smart choices, basically in all the things you said. The Charizard Vs. Dragonair was, of course, by FAR the best part of the episode. xD
