The last episode before they went to the newer animation. This episode itself was alright, but not original - seeing as we had episodes centering around Slowpoke before. But, I loved to see Slowking for the first time - I wanted to see that Pokémon for a while in the anime.

An okay episode, but I don't like Slowpoke. I was surprised that Ash didn't know what a King's Rock was when he had one that was used on Misty's Poliwhirl to evolve into Politoed. What a kid to be honest. The Slowpoke named Arthur reminded me of King Arthur and Camelot so that reference was kind of nice I suppose. Arthur just kinda brushed off Alice in the end which was really rude considering how much she cared for it.

I'm glad Arthur became a Slowking. Seeing how he defeated Team Rocket so easy makes me think that Ash should always keep out his Noctowl to use Confusion.
