    Just my thought, but Masato was as annoying as just about any character we've come to experience in Pokemon thus far, and he's a recurring character. It's been a while since we had a character who really got on Satoshi's nerves though, so we'll have to see where things lead. I loved Haruka's Achamo attacking Masato, and was amused by her yelling for an "amber" attack and seeing that mushroom go floating by. Made no sense in the dub.

    Max was such an irritating kid with the way he kept belittling Ash. My favorite part was when May's parents fell in the pitfall hole.

    I liked Max's debut since he was pretending to be the Gym Leader. I liked Ash's reaction when Max thought Ash lost in the second round, when he really lost in the second round of the finals lol. The battle between Vigoroth and Pikachu was such a farce though...

    I like this episode, I thought Ash was being a lot smarter by warning the others about the pitfalls. Max calling Ash 'Alf' was funny too. I wonder what would happen if Team Rocket decided to take May's Torhchic away.

    Funny how Ash remembered the pitfall traps here, yet in future AG episodes he seemingly forgot about them. :/

    Well sure, but I still thought that Norman giving one to her was a nice gesture, plus Ash finally had a place to put his own badges since he no longer had his old jacket. ^^;

    The Touka Gym match may've been one-sided, but it was meant to be more like a practice battle than an official Gym match, anyway. I actually liked that Senri's Yarukimono was faster than Satoshi's Pikachu since it showed how much work Satoshi needed to do in Houen to catch up.
