Thus declared Team Magma's Field Commander Harlan as Ash, Max, Marius, and Captain Stern made their stand against him just as he and his grunts were about to head out with that volcanic stone. Yes, Team Rocket wanted that stone for themselves, but Harlan's Mightyena's Iron Tail sent them flying. I had to chuckle during that brain freeze Ash, Max, and Marius earlier, but even though Team Magma made off with half of the broke stone, Captain Stern was able to retain the other half for his research. This I considered a compelling episode to remember in Hoenn.

It was a nice filler of sorts and I liked the 'brainfreeze' scene. Magma made a great impact but the kid with the Spheal looked a lot younger than Ash did when he was ten.

Spheal was very cute, i loved it.
Team Magma were very mean with captain Stern, but at least he's got some of the meteorite.

Aw, Spheal and Sealeo's debut.

I like the plot, mainly because Team Magma appeared and their actions set things in the 6th movie in motion.

This was a pretty 'Meh' episode for me. Outside of Capt. Sterns debut and the battle with TM, nothing too exciting really happened. I didn't like this one much...

I was pretty sad when Mightyena has stole the rock, eventually, and only a small piece of it stayed with the captain. Speal didn't show his power, but at least we have seen it surfing. It's better than nothing.

This episode was ok... It was cool seeing a Spheal and Sealeo for the 1st time. Spheal is really cute! It was cool seeing Team Magma again. It was cool to see Max and Ash having the focus together in this episode. The rock was really cool to see.

This episode was cool. It was awesome seeing Spheal and Sealeo for the first time. Spheal is cute! It's one of my favourite Water Types. Cool to see Team Magma again. The Rock was cool.

Me: Yeah he maybe have no knowlegde skills but he still has more pokemon than you have.

This episode was cool. Team Manga made their debute again and actually got away with something of interest. I don't know about anyone else but I'm tired of seeing Corphish used for everything. I'm surprised it hadn't evolved with how much he was using him.

Spheal was the only thing in this episode that was enjoyable to watch. Seriously, it would improve any episode hundreds of times if it were to appear in any episode. Team Magma wasn't really interesting in this episode. Then again, they're really only interesting when they clash with Team Aqua anyway.

Spheal is such a cute Pokemon! It was the main appeal of this episode. Team Rocket was also pretty funny. Aside from that, this episode was pretty boring to me... 4/10.

It was pretty awesome to see Team Magma again versus Ash and the Captain. Just the whole mystery behind it all made it the more interesting. I also thought the brain-freeze thing was hilarious too and Spheal and it's unreliable behavior.
