Did you even see this episode? Or read the episode guide carefully? This episode is stupid, how can Ash who has tonnes more experience than May be equal in battle with her. May isn't even a trainer, shes a pokemon coordinator!!
May never battled May one-on-one. So where are you getting the 'equal in battle with her'? If anything, in the May/Jessie vs Ash/James battle, Corphish did a lot of damage to Skitty than it took damage, so I have no idea where you're getting that from.
Then why are you all for Kanto? Kanto had some of the cheapest gym battles ever. -_-No, I will not give her a break. Especially since I loath cheap battles, contests, and good trainers getting screwed. Considering two of the three are in here, I'm not going to like this episode.
May doesn't battle as much as others do, I don't see why people have to keep putting her down because of that.
Anyway, it seems like a good episode. I have a feeling the dubbed title is going to suck. -_-
I'm not used to japanese names, so I'll change the japanese names to english names so that other people will understand this....Originally Posted by Edward Elric
May kept depending on Skitty's Assist and it kept using the wrong move..and on the wrong times. Corpish tried using Bubblebeam along with Assist to fight Nidoking and Nidoqueen, but Skitty's Assist used Ember and bursted all of the beams of bubbles. Corpish argued with Skitty who ended up using Assist's Ember on it as it turned to face Corpish. The two trainer began to argue and Ash ordered Corpish to attack. May ordered a Blizzard which froze Corpish. She tried to free it with Assist to get Ember but ended up wrapping Corpish with String Shot. Another Assist, but Silver Wind was then used which shaped the icy Corpish back into its normal shape rather than a block of ice. A final Assist and it was Ember, which thawed Corpish. Corpish begins chasing Skitty. May and Ash argue over who should control who's Pokémon and watch what they're doing. The Nido trainers finished the fight with Nidoking and Nidoqueen using Rollout together against the unknowing two Pokémon.
I just watched it and it's an amazing good episode. The fights are funny, including the Corpish/Skitty fights. And yeah May does let Skitty use assist a lot but blizzard too. Still the other couple was really funny and the Jesse/May vs Ash/James fight was good too !!
A great episode and truly one of my favs.
9.5/10
I wish I could see it too myself! Why do a lot of people complain about this ep, btw?
Predicted Dub Title: Criss Cross Crisis!
Official dub title's been revealed.
*unnecessary bump*
... Remember when I said the dub title was going to suck?
Not really. But you must have been refering to some OTHER title, as I'll have to hit you if you complain.Originally Posted by cold_katanagirl

I can't wait for this episode. I read the guide and saw the pictures, and it looks so funny. I love episodes when people fight. (Don't ask) I get so excited when people argue. I don't know, but the looks of things here, I think Ash or May woke up on the wrong side of the bed.
Maybe BOTH woke up on the wrong side of the bed,... and anyways, the title is kinda lame,... "The Bicker the Better?" That's kinda,... different, but what can you expect? They always have to make a pun. P.S. I do think it's going to be at least a LITTLE shippy.
i'm really looking forward into seeing this episode on Saterday.
-Whoever made the Trainer's Choice today PHAILED. They spelled Onix as "Onyx", and they had both Blaziken AND Onix as choices for who'd be best against Ariados. Gah...
-The scene where Ash, May, Jessie, and James were all arguing and has their faces in those bubble things was hilarious!
-God, the Tag battle everyone had was confusing @_@
-...Will Ash EVER learn that TR prepares their Pikachu capturing devices to be electricity-proof?
Ha-ha, I knew someone would point this out, and being the nerd that I am I decided to soften the blow.Originally Posted by Juputoru

I haven't much to say for this episode. VERY choppy at some points. But, on the bright side, there was a reappearance of Nidoqueen and Nidoking, and some more Dustox! Other than that, just an average filler, but with a hint of AdvanceShipping.
Overall rating:
7.8 out of 10!!
Not really mind-blowing, but good enough to avoid living up to Johto standards. I hope next week's episode is a lot better, being a capture episode.

Someone gave me a keychain once that said "You're depriving some poor village of it's idiot." I thought it was a joke but no one else laughed![]()
This was a great episode. It was about my two favorite characters and my favorite shipping. It was very funny and very shippy too. I have never heard love said so many times in an episode of anything before.
Yay, it's been awhile since the last comedy episode. I also love that old Kanto Pokemon still get showcased in Hoenn, especially ones that haven't appeared all that much, go Nidoking and Nidoqueen!
Very funny episode helped by the anime expressions. I love the big head arguments, the word bubbles with the characters faces in them, etc. They're one of the things that made this episode so funny.
The battles were hilarious, Ash and May's first battle with Skitty making an Ice scuplture out of Corphish was great. Then the last free for all match was insane, but still well orchestrated.
Lots of Males Vs. Females stuff in this episode, and Brock's "the battle of the sexes will continue" line.
I have to admit that Ash and May scenes were cute, you can tell that Veronica Taylor was having a lot of fun in this episode, voicing both characters and having them constantly yelling at each other. I also like Veronica's more sultry voice, which she used for May at the end when she was apologizing.
Veronica Taylor = Best voice actor 4kids has on Pokemon. Veronica Taylor > Eric Stuart.
Quite enjoyable. I may record the repeat just because of the music. The E4 and Kanto Gym remixes are my favorite pieces of the shows music.
As I've said before, James should kick Jessie to the curb. He and Ash actually made a very good team until Jessie cheated.
Today's moral, in a tag battle, the trainers must be in sinc as well as the Pokemon.
Though May taking her own sweet time would erk me I will admit.
The trainers of the day creeped me out. Who in this day and age would travel in public dressed like that? Not to mention the whole love thing got real old real fast.
The Big Al's rating 7.3 out of 10.

I thought this was a funny episode. It was just funny to see Ash and May & Jessie and James argue. The Corphish ice sculpture was cool (pun itended)! Skitty sounded a little odd while using Blizzard though... Overall, a nice episode.

This was a decent filler episode. It had some pretty humorous moments in it. And I have a feeling the Advanceshippers are going to have a feild day with this one. Heh.XP
The double battles were pretty cool, but I especially liked the one with Satoshi and Kojirou battling against Haruka and Musashi. It was really interesting how people who were normally enemies worked together like that.
Unlike last week, I haven't seen the original yet but was able to catch the dub. --; That said, I don't have many comments about it, but even without having seen the original, I think it's safe to assume the only music that was kept was during the double battle with Satoshi/Kojirou and Haruka/Musashi. And is it just me, or at the end did Ash refer to their battle with Oscar and Andy? >>;

that episode made ash and may shippers wanna scream anyway good episode
wow this place really dropped off in activity huh.
This might be the most well-written episode of "Pokémon Advanced" ever - but I haven't seen all of them, so I can't be sure. Regardless, I give props to whoever wrote this week's dub script, as well as the author of the Japanese original. Great back-and-forth dialogue between Ash and May, including stuff I wouldn't normally expect to hear on this show (all their talk about how the opposite gender is pathetic and all that). I'm convinced that Oscar and Andy simply go around trying to wreck other people's relationships and screw with their opponents' heads - both their battles were hilarious (Corphish chasing Skitty and Seviper wrapping Cacnea were both classic). And after a volley of classic Jessie and James insults - which was one of the best-written scenes this week - we get the big Battle of the Sexes (a term Brock actually used, to my surprise). Now THIS is inventive writing: a tag battle between the heroes and villains with one of each on each side, that eventually deteriorates into total anarchy. Great animation, fast pacing, hilarious voice work - this episode had it all. Unfortunately, that also includes the typical ending, but they made it work anyway. One of the best episodes I've seen in a long time.
Favorite moments:
- Skitty freezing Corphish and then Assisting it over and over again trying to get Torchic's Ember attack
- James hitting Jessie's soft spot with the ugly remark
- Both "speech balloon" arguments - it felt hysterically Tex Avery for some reason
- Dustox blowing away Brock and Wobbuffet at the same time
- Meowth's "Ow" after Skitty trips them during their getaway
If only they could all be this crazy!

Yes, her name was Andy. I guess it's short of Andrea.

But then I could've sworn that earlier in the episode Oscar called her Abby.
