Actually, you should hope to see an uncatchable shiny Zigzagoon, because then you'll know for certain that you've got an Emerald file with an early shiny frame.

Right now, I just want to have managed to chain one shiny lol... so I'm just going after whatever I run into, and if the chain breaks, go for the next thing I run into. The highest I've gotten though is a 24 on a ralts... but it broke. :/

If your looking for an easy pokemon to chain i would suggest bidof at night (but its bidof so its a bad shiny) shinx on route 202 (have a dead pokemon with static at the front of your party) or starly during day. Dont go for pokemon in the mansion/ones that have low encounter rates.

Hoping for sneasel tonight. Can sr for Kyogre soon then.

This is a question to all breeders.. How do you breed do u do one box at a time then hatch or get 3 boxes then hatch them all or something like that e.c.t.

Just on a side note, I finally got my shiny Cresselia after about a month of on and off reseting for it. I don't have a clue as to how many resets due to I had to go out and find it each and every reset. But I've got it now, so next to the pixies later on. I guess I'll use this for the curcuit, so I've got to go: 1,2,4,5. Back to chaining for Gastrodon then.

I just at first get a whole box full, then i withdraw 4 eggs, then i hatch them and as the old dude gets an egg (you will know cuz he faces to the right) i just pick the eggs up and put em in the PC

I e-mailed local Nintendo and neighborhood country's for the ticket (also UK) and got always the same response that they are not giving the tickets anymore.

The 2$ was indeed lucky it's 1.50 euro, she first said 5 euro (around 6.5$) but i told the mam who was selling it (old lady) that there was something missing (i did not lie the box and manual where missing) she said ooh well how much would you give for it i said 0.5 euro and she said 1.50 euro (witch is around 2$).

I've been doing some giratina sr's but nothing shines. As i'm typing i'm doing diglett encounters. I'm feeling sick atm due to the warmt here . I hope i get a shiny soon and feel better.

Quick question, what does re-saving do?

I'm up to 1400 SR's for Shiny Torchic on my Sapphire, and I'm wondering if I'm doing something wrong...(Does Sapphire have a messed up RNG like Emerald?)

Yeah, as far as I know, there aren't "shiny frames" in Sapphire. That's strictly for Emerald.

Alrighty, as for re-saving on Sapphire: think of every Pokemon you encounter as being a card in a deck. The deck has an infinite amount of cards. If you encounter a Pokemon, the card that is currently at the top of the deck is taken off, and re-inserted in a random spot in the deck. When you encounter another Pokemon, the next card is taken out and randomly re-inserted into the deck. There are certain cards that produce shiny Pokemon as well. When this "shiny card" is at the top of the deck, you pull it, and the Pokemon is shiny.

What re-saving does is that it basically re-shuffles the deck. This makes it so that after you save your game, the order of the cards is randomized. This means that a shiny can be the fifth or sixth card in the deck instead of being the 19349th or something along those lines.

Of course, this is a simplified version of what REALLY happens in the game (I'm not entirely sure myself, you should ask MetalMario for a more descriptive explanation), but the same logic applies, I believe.

I've been playing my Platinum trying to chain a shiny Starly. So far no luck, I managed to get a chain to 30 but it broke. >:0
already have a shiny Starly, but I'm trying to get separate shinies in my Platinum.


I also made a banner for the club, if anyone wants to use it make sure to credit "Arkreis" for drawing the Latias.
This may be my worst banner as of yet, but I'm not feeling creative today.

Okay a race it is. I was hoping for a Clamperl (when I found the Chinchou) and a Relicanth would be epic. Did about 600 more encounters underwater yesterday, and hatched a few Relicanth.

Going to play through LG sometime soon and then try for a shiny Unown or a shiny from the gaming corner. Might stop at EB sometime this week and pick up a GBA Micro and a few more 3rd gen games.

Another day of limited fishing time for me up to 14,400 approx. encounters, and fishing as I type so should get maybe 100 more before i go to bed!

I've missed quite a few posts today as well so congrats to M.Mon the shiny Sneasel and on any other new shinies gained by people!
