A long time ago I already had a fakedex thread or 2, but now I'm redoing everything and this time by using photoshop instead of the "making a photo of drawings on paper"-crap XD
After many many years of creating fakemon (more than a decade?!), my ideas have evolved, ordered and gained on originality as have I on knowledge and experience, so this is my most recent and longest try on a whole fakedex.
Note that I'm not completely satisfied with the current standard of my fakemon art (as in the technique).
I continue using it instead of improving to something closer to sugimori-style, because I just wanna get the basic designs for a full generation out for now, which is slow enough as it is.
So its more about the cocnepts, colour combinations, body structure, shapes, patterns, details, all the pokemon data... and not so much about shading/texture etc.

Urora - the most time consuming stuff (starters and main legends) are done, so I'm starting to add regular pokes. - 30%
I've reconsidered my whole project.
Noticing how well the 2 fit together, coupled with the fact that creating another 100 fakemon is unrealistic, I decided to merge Myoto and Urora into a single generation with 200 fakemon.
------The Urora region-----
Urora is home to a huge amount of exclusive pokemon which have not been seen anywhere before, and does not have any already known species.
While intentionally sounding similar to Unova, the name is a combination of Europe and Aurora, although the map itself is not directly based on any real world landmass.
------Plot, kind of------
You begin your journey as a Pokemon trainer in a small town in the southeast of the Urora region.
Professor Spruce, whos primary research is about Pokemon types, wants to collect data about the many yet unknown species living in this region, asks for your help in this task and offers you one of 3 Pokemon to accompany you on your adventure.
Of course your other aim is to gather gym badges and confront the Elite Four.
After 2 routes you find the Beginner Gym, where basic battling techniques are explained and a badge case is given to you.
You obtain the Neural Badge (Psychic) as you travel through the meadowy areas just a bit later, followed by the Momentum Badge (Fighting) as you approach the rugged paths below the mountains.
Soon you come across a group of grunts who essentially act like nutcases on first sight, talking about majestic flying creatures of myth.
Turns out they are members of a group calling themselves Team Prism/Umbra (depending on version).

------PART II: Myoto------
Based on a part of Japan, particularly the area between Hoenn and Johto.
As the location of a bonus-generation, this region doesn't have any new exclusive regular pokemon in it, however adds:
-a new set of starters
-~20 pre-evolutions and evolutions to some of the old pokemon
-a few legendaries
The plot revolves about nature and pollution.
The villainous group is called Team Gaia.
Myoto is filled with tons of pokemon from other regions.
I love your starters. If they were in an actual game, I'd get both versions just so I can have Cycadino and Bunnignite. They're so cute, but the final evolution and the second evolution look too much like Sceptile and Flareon for my liking. Still extremely awesome, and I love how you based it on an actual Japanese region like the others. Can't wait to see some more Fakémon.
I love the water and grass starters, especially the water! Great idea to base it off the Alaskan Killer Whale images. The fire starter looks a bit iffy though, mainly the final stage pokemon. but all in all they look amazing!!! keep it up!
I really want to say how impressed I am with your creation of the pokemon since it is almost impossible to find people on serebii who capture the simplicity AND originality of pokemon. Whats more is that you seem to have a good grasp on shading and the suigimori art style. Now on to the actual pokemon.
Cycadino-I truly think that for the most part this a good and imaginable choice for a starter. However, there are a few things bothering me about this and the line itself. The first being is that with chickorita around, and the billions of other fakemons I've seen the whole leaf on back of head thing is a little old. I think given the placement of leaves in the second form that the leaf should come out of the forehead. As far as the drawing goes, the red spike thing should be a tad more over to its right, since the way it is now is too much on the left. The left foot should be coming out more towards the viewer, because it looks shorter than the right foot right now. Lastly, it may be just me, but the neck looks a tad too small for the gigantic head.
Cycasaur-Honestly I've tried but I can't seem to find almost any mistaskes either design or drawing wise. The only mistake I seen was that on his middle red/pink leaf(I think he has five) the pink part is facing us too much when the others are facing towards his body. But that is a small problem.
Petaldon-Man, when I saw this my jaw dropped because this is one of the best designed fakemons I've ever seen. I disagree with everyone who says this looks like sceptile just because of the face and tail. Clampearl and shellder both have bivalve shells, I don't see people going crazy about that. Anyways, the dots are in very organized way and the bushes are layed out nicely as well. But, my gripe that I was talking about earlier about the line is this, the first two had leaves on their head, but then when the 3rd form comes around they disappear from anywhere on its head. My main problem with this is that if you look at all the starters, they have distinct features, that all lead up to the final form that capitalizes on it. Bulbasaur's bulb to venasaur's flower, chimchar's spiral on its belly to the spirals on infernapes hands, you get the idea. I just feel like its a wasted part.

i love all of them except the Rabburst. he just doesnt have the starter pokemon amount of details. if im confusing you, he just needs a little more detail or added accessories to it. besides that... you have done absolutly perfect. i love the idea of a fire type bunny. thats awesome.
if you want any ideas for any pokemon, ive got a bookload. i can give you details but i cant draw decent even if my life depended on it. i'll leave the drawing to you(because you are the best at it) ^_^
