Even the moe appeal of Saki: Achiga-hen wouldn't have been enough to get me to watch a show about mahjong (and I love my moe), that is until I watched Chihayafuru which showed me that a series about a boring game I know nothing about can be amazing, now I don't think it will be as good as Chihayafuru, but it has Hanazawa Kana so I'm sure I'll survive it. On the subject of Hanazawa Kana, is there anything she isn't in these days? Not that I'm complaining, I love her voice.

I liked the Dusk Maiden of Amnesia, though. But it seems like they're not following the manga? It's that really true because I never read the manga before. Either way, I hope things get more scarier or at least more serious from now on. This is a horror genre, after all.
Space Brothers was just as good as the first time. I liked the introduction of the new characters!

started on squid girl and dusk maiden of the twilight. the first episode of squid girl seemed a little too 'meh' for me. dusk maiden seems like something i might like, but idk. that first episode wasnt very horror-mystery-y. i was kinda hoping it'd be like another; but w/e, ill keep watching it anyway.

I'm not sure quite how this happened, but I've picked six shows up this season (and that's before Eureka Seven AO and Hyouka air). Because of all this new stuff, I decided to put Bodacious Space Pirates on hold - it's not that I don't like it, but it's the show I'm enjoying the least at the moment.
So far, I'm especially digging the new Lupin III and Mysterious Girlfriend X. I don't know about watching Sankarea and Dusk Maiden of Amnesia in parallel just because they give off a similar air, but they both had good first episodes so I don't want to drop either!
I get the feeling it's going more in the direction of mystery than horror. Then again, all I know about the anime comes from reading a short synopsis and watching the first episode, so what do I know?
