Clannad is actually really fast paced when it comes to it's story. The amazing part is how slow it seems while doing so.
Hidamari Sketch is really relaxing. It's more just watching day-to-day life than a full-on comedy, but there are plenty of jokes. And yes, it's ****ing slow. If you enjoy something with a plot and action because you don't feel like mellowing out, then don't watch it.

So Btooom! Actually had a pre-airing of the second episode as well, which was used to rush Himiko's backstory in a lot sooner then it was in the manga.
Watched the first episode of Shinsekai Yori again, subbed this time, and if it delivers quality like this in every episode it's going to be a great series.
What's sad is that we got this cheap, hollow ending to two of the best characters the show has ever seen instead of the fantastic and meaningful one that the series had already masterfully set up. And also that the Doctor is apparently too stupid to realise that it's possible to write lies in books and on gravestones.

I thought Kako Random was a bit rushed, but it was still good stuff. Waiting until the spring of next year to release the final four episodes of Kokoro Connect is bizarre - couldn't they have adapted more material if they were going to wait that long?
Hunter x Hunter is magnificent at the moment. The strengths of the cast are balanced so damn well.

I too thought their final scene could have been better than it was. I haven't watched all the episodes but I imagine those who did would probably feel stronger about it than I do.

Definitely, the adaptation is looks promising going off the first two episodes. Himiko's backstory was brought forward, but it did not look out of place the way they handled it. Though it looks like fan subbers will be waiting for the TV airing later this week for the much better quality.

Nah, it's not a typo, here is a long and complicated explanation:

Because Japanese is a syllable-based language in which you can express sounds like ka, ki, ku, ke or ko, but not the consonant "k" by itself, English words like "hello" "goodbye" or "beer, please" must be forced through this rather alien phonetic system, resulting in haroh (the final "h" representing an elongating of the previous vowel), guddobai and biiru puriizu. The very first fast food I ate in Japan was a McDonald's clone called First Kitchen (home of the world famous scrambled egg burger, yech), and I remember some confusion as to whether the company was First Kitchen or Fast Kitchen. Without the full repertoire of English sounds, the Japanese render the latter as fasuto and the former as fahsuto, with the longer middle vowel serving the role of the "r" in "first." This rule gets over-generalized in some words, which is why the long middle sound of the word sumo-ku (smoke) ends up as "smork.
