So the new episode of K was significantly better than the first. Mostly because it decided to be fun. I still have some worries about the series' future but for now, that was a fun episode.

Psycho-Pass was very interesting and it really got me thinking, like a good sci-fi should. They kinda held out right before revealing the big question of "WHY"* that I have about the premise, but the rest of it kept me satisfied *(WHY WOULD YOU LET CRIMINALS ENFORCE THE LAW?!)

Robotics;Notes. First of all, I wasn't the only one who saw that opening right?! 1.048956. Straight out of Steins;Gate. What does it mean?!
The show itself looks like it will be fun. My favourite character looks like it's going to be Akiho. I love her attitude, her design (looks a bit like Popura) and that AR stuff was fantastic.

The series takes place in the same world as Steins;Gate (and Chaos;Head), Nae (the little girl from Steins;Gate) will be appearing sooner or later, unless she already has, I still haven't watch the first episode yet.

Binbougami Ga! completed.

The bit at the end had me psyched, but I figured it was a gag, I googled it, and a new season is indeed coming in spring!?!?!

Now I'm really fuckin' psyched. I really didn't expect to enjoy Binbougami as much as I did, so the fact that I did is all the more sweeter.

I did catch the jab at To-LOVE-rU, 'The second season of Binbougami ga! Darkness'

If the anime staff were trolling I'll be saddened.

So Psycho-Pass turned out to be... a bit crap, to be honest. A yawnsome romp through a generic dystopia which at this point just seems to be a less fun version of Minority Report. It's got some gratuitous gore and sexual violence just to make sure you know that it's GRITTY and MATURE and the law is opressive and amoral because it's the future and for some reason everything always has to suck in the future despite the fact that in real world history, going forward along the timeline will show a fairly reliable picture of moral progress (seriously, that's been bothering me recently, do we as a species have so little faith in ourselves that we think that the future being a tyrannical dystopia is completely inevitable? Because that's the message fiction tends to send out). Since it's Urobuchi, I'll give this show a little bit more of a chance than I'd normally give to this kind of childish dross but the prognosis isn't good*.

As for Robotics;Notes, the other noitaminA show, I put some brief thoughts in the thread for it (spoilers: I liked it).

*EDIT: Also, a training academy that teaches you literally nothing to prepare you for the job you're training for? My brain only just caught up to how monumentally stupid that is.

What's going on in Hayate? Why are those girls all living there? That wasn't in the anime! Well, unless it was in one of the movies...

I watched the first episode of Magi, but I decided that I don't really want to watch another potentially long-running adventure show right now.

Strange law enforcement system in Psycho-Pass, but it does set the stage for some probable juicy moral conflict in the future.

I don't know how Akiho can possibly possess the energy to try and motivate Kaito and work on that robot every day. The main pair feel a little mismatched right now, but it's only the first episode. Regardless, Robotics;Notes was a nice watch.

Pyscho-Pass started kind of meh, but it has an interesting premise, and it definitely has enough episodes left for something good to develope. It's definitely going to be messed up (not that that was ever in doubt with Urobuchi Gen involved) based on the fact the director said he hoped that kids get trauma for life if they watch it.

Don't know if want. I'll reserve my judgement until I've seen the three movies. I don't know if I feel that there needs to be more Madoka. The story to me always seemed pretty decent in the way it was compacted into 12 episodes. So I'm not sure if expanding it is a good thing yet. Most likely it will be good though.
