We were at Best Buy yesterday and my lady found Soul Eater the complete series on DVD for $45, she picked it up. Out of curiosity I wanted to see if they offered which anime they offered on Blu Ray, Amazon has the Soul Eater Complete Series Blu Ray for $21. I don't really understand the pricing difference, but once we exchange the DVD for the Blu Ray I will finally catch up and finish Soul Eater!

Yeah, that's the difference between retail and Amazon! They can do that because they basically rip off everyone they work with, but don't worry about that too much.

As long as you liked Mikoto, Railgun should be better.

I was expecting it to be better since I liked Mikoto but not THIS much better. This is probably the biggest improvement I've seen a spin-off have compared to the original since... ever.

Mind you, I'm only two episodes in but I'm absolutely loving it so far. The main cast all have great voices and it seems like it will be more SOL and character based compared to Index's "how many plot twists can we make up and try to make seem dramatic" approach to storytelling.

I should really hold out on saying any more just in case these first few episodes are merely introductions and the rest of the story is mediocre. But if things continue the way they are this be a really good thing.

Araragi's reaction to Hanekawa saying she'll do "anything" was priceless.

First two episodes did not disappoint, fan service, jokes, and neck-bends a plenty. Same -monogatari I know and love.

I thought the first Nekomonogatari was great, bit disappointed two of my favourite girls didn't show up, but that wasn't really unexpected considering it comes before Bakemono, but some cameos would have been nice. Preview of the next TV series to come later thus year has me all hyped, going to hate waiting for that, and the Kizumono BDs. Should be well worth it though.

Those Hunger x Hunger OPs are catchy as hell. I also wish Hisoka had more screen time.
