Starting to catch up on stuff I missed while I was visiting relatives for Christmas. My Little Monster managed to balance the main shoujo-y romance stuff with some great side character stories and superb character-driven comedy. It's my favourite of any shoujo romance I've seen so far!

I began watching Dragonball at around the start of December, and I've been hooked to it. It's the first anime I've ever watched (not counting the few episodes of Pokemon I saw when I was younger) and it seems really awesome.

You'll find some amazing stuff once you crack the surface and get into the less mainstream shows, not that mainstream is bad of course, however give me an Uchuu Kyoudai or a Chihayafuru over any mainstream anime any day.

i'm fairly new to the anime world....The only other anime i've seen is Pokemon, I did see sailor moon as a child though..english ones of course. Thanks to youtube i'm now at the last season featuring chibi chibi who is flipping adorable.. :3

I thought Nekomonogatari (Black) was fantastic! It was funny, it was gripping, it was shocking, and it was paced well. It definitely brought back a lot of the feelings I got from watching Bakemonogatari. Looks like there will be lots more Monogatari stuff this year, which I'm more excited than ever for after this mini-series!

I wish From the New World hid its low production values half as well as the Monogatari series...

Railgun has been great so far. I really enjoy how it starts off as seemingly unrelated episodes but they're all coming together as one story. It's clever, and a good way to intertwine the slice of life stuff with a flowing story arch. I've only got one complaint with the show so far and unfortunately it's a pretty big one. Can we just... NOT have Touma in this series?

As of late I've watched many an anime really but these are the most recent ones that I remember watching. My favorite accomplishment was picking back up One Piece. Regardless of what others say I just love the amount of stupid things that happen plus the trumpet like battle music is honest kick butt. I started back up at like episode 130 at the start of like November and about 2 months later I am 400 + episodes ahead of that. Given school and all that it's a feat I am proud of.

I decided to also catch back up on E7:AO and have to say...it didn't end on the note I wanted it to. There was just too much of a confusion for me at the end with the "Quartz Gun" that over complicated the plot for my wish and ruined the possibility that the story could have been. Was it that they were on a short time frame to actually do the manga and not continue it or they just felt like that was the end thus leading to what we got in the show? I have no idea, but the overall premise is just too much of a confusion for my taste.

The new series of AKB0048 didn't start off well, it was messy and incoherent, was peppered with the stupid boob jokes that ruined one the episodes last series and featured a pointless concert with no context or action as well as flashbacks that are pointless to returning viewers but not clear enough to be any help to newcomers. However, things picked up significantly with Chieri going all Nelson Mandela in that court scene and the flipping epic rescue concert and it won me over all over again. Definitely hyped for this going forward.
