I didn't pick it up while it was airing, but the interest I saw generated around it prompted me to give it a look recently. Pretty enjoyable show, carried mainly by very likable characters and suitable atmosphere.

I don't even usually like the typical fare of the genre it seems to fall into, but the characters and story are just so overwhelmingly likable that I can't resist.

After watching the first episode I thought it was going to be crap, thankfully I never drop anything after the first episode because I was hooked half way through the second episode.

Then came episode 20 when I shed manly tears.

At first when I seen this I was like wtf because I didn't the english translation of Papa no Iukoto wo Kikinasai lol. I don't recomend watching it on chruchyroll though. The have that stupid one week new episode rule unless you pay or something.

You know the shittiest thing about Crunchyroll (and most legal stream sites, for that matter)? They region lock most, if not all of their content. It's like they try and make us Aussies look for other means of streaming anime.

Yeah, having to pay for a niche service that isn't covered by your TV license only if you want to watch it straight away with no ads is so unreasonable. It's almost like having to pay for extra TV channels or something. Imagine the outrage if something like that happened!

Something happened in episode 15 of Mirai Nikki that could seriously dampen my enjoyment of the series if it's not handled well in the next episode. If it's not handled well, all the tension in future fights with other Diary holders could disappear...

Ga-Rei: Zero was superb. It's an action/supernatural series, but with a very well developed sisterly (they're not actually sisters, though) relationship at its centre. A major thing it did right was that you didn't feel like anyone was safe in any fight, so as well as being well choreographed, the fight scenes always felt intense. In my Top 10 for sure.

By all rights, Yukki and Yuno should be dead. I mean, their phones were captured by Seventh, so I'm really confused as to why they're still alive. If the explanation for this is rubbish, every time Yukki and Yuno face off against someone, I'm gonna think "Oh, here we go, another battle where the main characters BS their way out by virtue of their indestructible plot armour." I've seen plot armour in Mirai Nikki before and ignored it, but this would be too much for me.

5/8 of the new season releases that are streaming on Crunchyroll that you're watching are available in Australia, and Another will be shown on Anime on Demand (although their service kind of sucks tbh).

That's quite a rare occurrence that that many shows are actually available from what I've seem, now if all the series crunchyroll has were available in Australia I would be willing to pay for the simulcasts, unfortunately that is not the case.

The new Daily Lives of High School Boys episode had a great first half. It seems I find the show funnier when there's more boys than the main 3. Gives of a bit of a Cromartie feel when they're bickering at each other and finding random stuff to do. The Obama joke made me laugh harder than anything so far.
