So I'll take a little bit of all your advice.
I plan on watching parts of Hetalia, while watching Gurren Lagann since they'res only 27 episodes of that. Then onto DRRR!! and I hopefully will be at least somewhat close to finished with Hetaila by the end of DRRR!!.
After those three then I'll move onto Rurouni Kenshin.
I prefer dubs for the most part and I was planning on watching them dubbed anyway, unless any of you think I absolutely have to watch one of them subbed.

i will say gurren lagann and rurouni kenshin are probably better watched in dub. I've seen both in sub and dub but in my opinion the voices fit more with the dub. DRRR!! should be subbed though.

To be honest, Simon and Kittan are both cooler than him by the end. Not saying Kamina isn't a complete boss, but the internet has a bit of a tendency to overstate the fact (to put it mildly).

So, first impressions.
Hetalia: Axis Powers (Dub) - EP 1 - Well I didn't expect each episode to be that short, I'll have to alternate between watching one episode of Hetalia and one episode of Gurren Lagann & DRRR!!. But I liked it overall. Germany so far is my favorite character/country at least from what I can see from the few seconds that each character was introduced. But overall I like the concept of the characters being comical personifications of the countries.
