finally watched an episode of sankarea. at first i was turned off (lol) because the dude had like, cat hear shaped hair, but i got over it. im almost up to date with the latest airing episodes now.

its not too bad. it definitely feels like it has more potential than dusk maiden of amnesia. but the whole story itself is interesting, but kinda makes it a little...volatile. im worried its gonna go full retard eventually.

The finale of Kotomi's arc wasn't nearly as emotional as the end of Fuuko's arc though I find it was well done nonetheless. Oh, I also loved Fuuko's random appearance, haha. I hope she makes her return after waking up from the coma.

The finale of Kotomi's arc wasn't nearly as emotional as the end of Fuuko's arc though I find it was well done nonetheless. Oh, I also loved Fuuko's random appearance, haha. I hope she makes her return after waking up from the coma.

I was surprised by the short amount of time it took me as well.

Heh, but surprisingly, I find myself preferring Kyou over Nagisa in terms of love partners for Tomoya. Not that I mind Nagisa, she's a good character, though Kyou has this amazing personality and lively, bi*chy attitude that makes me love her so much more than Nagisa.

The Kobato specials were pretty funny! I especially liked the short where Kobato and Ioryogi switched bodies - it was funny hearing Kana Hanazawa be foul-mouthed and irritable!

I don't like the road Sankarea's heading down right now. I'd have much preferred episode 5 to go the scary/threatening route rather than... that one.

Also, I started Fairy Tail for a bit of fun. I'm liking what I'm seeing so far!

Yeah, I was gonna start the new Lupin III series, but then I suddenly remembered that I watched the first episode of Baccano some time ago, but then never watched the rest of it for whatever reason.
So yeah, I'm gonna put that series on hold until I finish Baccano.

This week's Toriko was kinda boring and slow, as it has been as of late.
That absolutely horrendous crossover special with One Piece hasn't helped matters either.
Hope it gets into the good stuff soon.

Smile Precure disappoints me in terms of action, as I'm a fool for expecting another Heartcatch, but it's characters and comedy are fantastic. The main advantage it has over Heartcatch is that it focuses on the main characters, instead of always a random victim of the week. It's main disadvantage is the number of Cures active at the start. It's becoming ridiculous how easy it is to incapacitate all but the one Cure the episode's focusing on.

Shugo Chara was going well at first, until the focus went from fighting X-Characters to cleansing random X-Eggs that do nothing but fly around. And all the focus on Utau got annoying too. I swear she's just there to plug Nana Mizuki's singing.

Usagi Drop... should have watched a lot sooner. All of my HNNNNNNNG. Since the specials are labeled as 2.5 and such, I'm watching them and the main series together.

Rin has got to be one of the most adorable characters ever, the only two more adorable are Ushio, and Hina from PapaKiki (who has to be the most adorable anything ever). Rin and all her facial expressions are simply amazing.

I just have a problem with stuff like that when it feels like it's forced in there. Mysterious Girlfriend X is an example of a show where I appreciate the fanservice because it feels like a natural part of the story. Also, had they made that scene in Sankarea more threatening, then in my opinion it would have improved the scene where     Spoiler:- Sankarea episode 5:

Rea kissed Furuya, because it could have looked a bit like she was about to attack him in her irrational zombie state before she did, which would have lent the kiss more impact.

Kuroko's Basketball

I never thought I'd like a sports anime but Kuroko's made me an addict. Somehow I've grown an interest in basketball and learned a bunch of the terminology thanks to this show. Kuroko as a character also makes me want to hug him.

Medaka Box

Let's face it: it's a prodigy anime. I love high school anime, I love anime about rich people (why? I don't know!) and OCD student body leaders make me melt.

Chihayafuru

The first(?) season ended already, but I fell in love with karuta thanks to this anime. Can't wait for a new season; if Jormungand's already promised a second season, why not Chihayafuru as well?

SKET-Dance

More high school anime! But Switch might be the main reason I watch this show. He is an otaku beyond awesome but with a good backstory to back it up. Irresistible.

I like AKB48, yes. The description of the show made me doubt a bit, but it's still worth a watch. Actually looking forward to more episodes! Anime about teenage girls on their way to a Larger Than Life Goal that's not "I want to be the best in the world!" is refreshing.

Kuromajo-san ga Touru!!

This anime is based on a children's book series of the same name if I've understood correctly. Seven-minute-long episodes feel short, but it's a good "snackime" in-between the longer ones.

Lupin the Third: Mine Fujiko to Iu Onna

Confession: I haven't watched Lupin the Third before. A female thief was the thing that lured me in, as well as the darker, more adult approach instead of a comedy. Warning though: you might not want to watch this with underage people around!

Antique Bakery

It's an old show, but there are A) cakes, B) gay men and C) MORE cakes. I'm passionate about baking and the descriptions of cakes in this show made me drool. Apparently the manga books have scented covers to emphasize all the cake. Nothing else to say except, well...CAKE.
