It's a great cast yeah, but if the story sucks that doesn't matter too much.

I see what you mean, that's a lot of blue. Durarara!! but with tons of blue. "Blurarara!!"

As weird as it is to say this: I think It might have to do with me watching a lot of Avatar lately. The Last Airbender, not Korra (yet). I've gotten used to fire/water/lightning/stuff being thrown around while characters do martial arts techniques and poses or whatever. Now when I see these characters doing what looks to be the same thing but without the stances it looks like they're just flailing around in comparison.

See I can enjoy a show with a sucky story if I like the characters, and going off of past shows I've watched I've really liked characters voiced by those seiyuu, and they all rank among my favourite seiyuu.

The K cast list is the second time that I've recently seen people hype things up in this thread because of voice acting talent. Personally it doesn't affect me that much. For example, Steins;Gate is one of my favourite series ever, while Kurozuka is one of my least favourite, and Mamoru Miyano voiced the lead role in both. A character voiced by him (or anyone) could be good or bad.

A Certain Magical Index II - 24/24

I loved Acchi Kocchi 10A! Never has a walk to school been so enjoyable for me to watch.

A Certain Magical Index II was pretty hit-and-miss for me. I enjoyed the second half a lot more than the first half, but a lot of the arcs seemed to play out very similarly (and some of them just didn't make much sense). There were still a bunch of fun moments, though, and that's what I've come to expect from Index/Railgun.

What do you think of Avatar so far? Just curious because I'm a massive fan, and Legend of Korra is probably my favourite of the animated shows I'm watching this season.

So far I like it. I'm halfway done the series and it's been a good run so far. For a kids show you can really tell they put a lot of effort in the narrative and setting among other things. I respect that.

I think it's something people get used to after a while. Personally, flailing around becomes more acceptable when the fighters start doing crazy **** like blocking swords with skateboards since it's kind of implying that this isn't too serious and that I should take it easy.
