I've been watching through Panty & Stocking with Garterbelt again, dubbed this time. Surprisingly one of the best dubs I've ever seen in my life. Which is good because this series deserves it.

I've been watching through Panty & Stocking with Garterbelt again, dubbed this time. Surprisingly one of the best dubs I've ever seen in my life. Which is good because this series deserves it.

I found the dub script to be rather frustrating. The Japanese script was pretty straightforward, it didn't need very few changes at most. Their attempts to make it more obscene felt unnatural. The Japanese script actually seems to have a better grasp on how obscenities are used in the English than Funimation's. And it may be my imagination but I think the excellent BGM is lower in the mix, which is a shame.

It kind of bugs me because I prefer dubs over subs. I have no problem with english voice actors and can understand making some changes in localization. But I feel like in some cases the people in charge of dub scripts are being too loose regarding script changes.

Finally jumped on the Hyouka wagon.......shit is weird.......it's like K-On but not as fun to watch.

I've only seen 2 eps but I will give it at least until episode 5. I did like those weird visuals in ep.1 where Chitanda Eru's hair kinda engulfed Hotarou.

Speaking of K-On, finally after months of not watching, it got through the ep. where Azusa joins the keion-bu club at the end.

Yeah, I'm also aware that I should finish Clannad: Afterstory too. I plan to watch the rest of that after I finish The iDOLM@STER. Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood I'm taking slower because I've read a majority of the manga so I'm not in any huge rush to finish that one.

I wish I understood my obsession as well, it's one of life's great mysteries. I understand this much though, episode 20 is one of my favourite anime episodes.

The show really grew on me as the series progressed.

Finally finished Bodacious Space Pirates. Ended up marathoning the entire final arc in one night.

I have intentions of picking up Humanity Has Declined when I get a chance. Not too much else really looks all that interesting to me this season.
