It's my favourite anime series of all time, so I'd say it's pretty damn good. It's hard to give a summary without spoiling too much because of it's breakneck pacing, but after one episode I'm sure you'll want to see more. There's giant mechas, explosions, badassery, babes, guns, punchy animation, and all around inspiring fighting spirit. What I hope is secretly a 4th 12 episode season is in the works, and will be announced somewhere near the halfway point of season 3's airing.
Season 2 was already approved, and largely produced in its entirely before season 1 even aired, otherwise they'd have no way of starting it only over 3 months later.
With 24 episodes, alot of headway can be made with S3 covering the remaining heroines such as Swimmer girl, Ramen Girl, Tsukiyo, Yui, Shogi girl, and Kusunoki's onee-sama. (6 girls, well 5 girls and a woman, Hinoki is a whole lot of woman = 2 eps each.) The filler/omake chapters can be OVA specials) For all I care they can skip the old lady ghost he conquers.
Then in the final 8-12 eps of the 24 they can begin the Goddess hunting by Keima.
Ahhhh, uber hyped, more Saori Hayami/Haqua just makes a guy's day.
