Basically they only spoiler parts got cut in this episode, everything else was just compressed, watching it didn't feel much different from reading the story, wish they would have just kept explanation to falling scene about why they survived.

And next week finally main story time since first episode.

So Uchuu Kyoudai will continue airing in Fall, looks like we're in for a nice big episode count, which is awesome.

Speaking of Uchuu Kyoudai, when they first went into the third test I had a sneaking suspicion that they were at JAXA all along, and the bus had just been driving around in circles, looks like I was correct.

Note that Clannad After Story, Hayate the Combat Butler 2nd season, and The Disappearance of Haruhi Suzumiya all have prequel seasons that should be watched first. And The Disappearance of Haruhi Suzumiya is a movie rather than a series.

Aside from the ones I recommended I agree with all 10 here, they're all great series, and in one instance movie. Though you really should watch Suzumiya Haruhi no Yuutsu before moving to Shoushitsu.

I enjoyed it, I found some things confusing at first but eventually figured most things out. Though I don't understand what the point of the penguins was, they were amusing but they really didn't do anything important, unless I completely missed something.

The penguins were assigned by Princess of the Crystal to help the Takakura brothers find the Penguin Drum. Though they didn't help much so they were at least amusing.
