Demon Kitsune Yoko Kurama decided to recommend Junjou Romantica to me, so I watched it. Normally, I'm not a big yaoi person, but this anime is surprisingly funny, cute, and also dramatic with a tinge of romance. I'd recommend giving it a shot if you like yaoi.

Finished Eureka Seven and it was glorius despite the fact that I still have a few questions. Anyways, are the Madoka Magica movies worth watching? I mean I watched the series and it was glorious as well.

I though it's weird that they showed this too early till I realize that this is just a pre-air.

I love the beautiful visuals though. As expected from P.A

Like I said before in my post I watched Part 1 and it was fantastic. I urge anyone who liked the original to see the movies. I only thought the show was okay when I saw the broadcast version but the movie has got me much more into the series.

Definitely worth watching, however unless a cinema near you is having a screening of them sometime you're going to be waiting awhile for the BD release.

It is Noitamina, so 2x11 episodes for something that runs over two seasons shouldn't be too surprising.

I was happy that the film was subbed. I heard a few people groan at the first line but I did a little downward fist pump, followed by a quiet "yesssssss!"

Totally forgot about that. Plus they're both Production I.G. Having 2 simultaneous running shows like that should call for some cutbacks right?

Still, after watching for the last months assuming they'd both end at about 24 or so episodes it's really jarring.

I watched both films back to back, I honestly don't think I could have sat through over 4 hours of it if they were dubbed.

Part 2 is coming to my local theatre Wednesday so I'm looking forward to it. I don't know if I'd be able to sit through it dubbed either to be honest.

Oh yeah, and a big hell yeah to Sasami-san@Ganbaranai for its blatant as **** Zetsubou-Sensei reference. This has been one of the most unique, quirky series I've seen in a while. Each episode feels way different and fresh compared to the last even though the style doesn't change.

    honestly it wasn't THAT bad while they were fighting each other for the exams but once hey actually started fighting with the bad guys it was just ehhhh... if there were any characters that i liked, i'd probably still be watching but out of the billion people there i only sort of liked one which ruined it for me. i may just skip all of this and watch shippuuden sometime in the future, at least then they won't be children anymore. >_>;;

The Pet Girl of Sakurasou - 22/24
    Voices of a Distant Star
    Wolf Children

Another year, another weekend to celebrate Global Shinkai Day on Crunchyroll. This time I watched Voices of a Distant Star. It was similar to 5 Centimeters per Second with the whole distance thing between the couple, but the focus was slightly different. It was short, but that shortness was appropriate because of how much more quickly time seemed to pass for Mikako than for Noboru. I don't know about the situation making perfect logical sense, but it was a nice way to spend half an hour.

I also finally got around to watching Wolf Children. How Hosoda manages to make these characters feel so real in less than two hours I have no idea - he did it in Summer Wars, and he does it again here. And with a smaller main cast in this film, he also manages to pack in some fantastic character development. I was really drawn in by the whole experience, it was easy to sympathise with Ame and Yuki despite their totally different perspectives, and there were a few special scenes that were absolutely breathtaking without needing melodrama. Stunning film.

100% of information in signatures on this forum involving percentages is false. If you feel as cheated by this atrocity as I do, don't you dare copy this into your signature.
Hold on... if this percentage was correct at the time of print, that means the actual percentage of false information is less than 100% if this signature is included. Which means that... no! I've become a slave to the system!!

I speedrun DS Pokémon games. Currently, I speedrun Pokémon White 2, and I've also ran Pokémon Pearl in the past. If you want to see Pokémon games pushed to their limits (or if you want to do so yourself!), check out the Pokémon Speedruns website, and if you want to watch me, catch me on my Twitch channel.

Augh shut up. I had it all ready to go ever since you first mentioned it but I've been too damn busy to watch a full movie.

Is what I'd like to say, but I did see the Madoka movie this week. And a bunch of other stuff. I have no excuse.

Damn whoever is in charge for not giving NJ the Madoka Movies, Seriously, I'm not going to New York City to watch a movie and the BDs are taking to long to come out. I WILL PAY GOOD MONEY FOR THEM!
