The comedy stuff starts getting good abound episode 20-30. The first of the serious arcs, all of which are great, starts at episode 58. If the show hasn't hooked you in by then, assuming you get that far, you're probably best off dropping it.

The Girl who leaped through time 1/1 Complete

Really enjoyed it, was sligjhtly sad at the end, a bit funny with the time leaping, and for something I randomally watched, I loved it.

    Kuroshitsuji - 24/24 *completed*
    Shakugan no Shana - 6/24

I completed Kuroshitsuji tonight and the ending was not how I expected it to be. It left a lot of questions, but it did end a very good season. I'll be starting season 2 tomorrow, and i can't wait.

well finally done with this series. at first i had my doubts about the 4th season. it seemed like it was getting worse and worse as i kept going thru seasons. i thought season 1 will always be better but season 4 was probably my favorite. its been a good series and i can say im happy with the ending

Well, I've been doing a sort of archieve binge on the Pretty Cure series. So far I've watched Futari Wa Pretty Cure and it's second season Futari Wa Pretty Cure Max Heart, as well as Heartcatch Pretty Cure, Fresh Pretty Cure, Suite Pretty Cure and Smile Pretty Cure.

I'm currently 40 episodes into Futari Wa Pretty Cure Splash Star, and I plan on watching the last few episodes this weekend. After that, Yes! Pretty Cure 5 is next.

The Vision of Escaflowne - 2/26

Finally I got around to start watching. I have the movie and love it, and I'm also collecting the eight-volume manga and am loving it. So I'm starting to think Escaflowne may end up being one of my all-time favorite anime by the time I'm through. I kinda know about the twists in the show because I saw the abridged series, but I really wanted to watch the actual show, so here I am. I decided to watch the dub as I want to know of the voice actors and actresses' humble beginnings in the anime. I loved the voice direction in the movie, so I wanted to see how it all started out in the anime. It's pretty obvious this may have been some of their first time voicing, but either way, I can't wait to really do a side-by-side comparison between dub voices of the anime and the movie--especially in story. The movie took the Van-route of the series, according to the director in an interview.

Soon I can start Railgun and hopefully catch up with Railgun S. Hate to be on the bandwagon, but Misaka is waaay more interesting than Touma; for a show with her name in the title, both Index seasons were severely lacking in Index screen time. That being said, I'd sign on to watch a Season 3 of Index.

Index will give you some background info, but for the main part the first season is fairly stand alone, the second season is focusing on an arc that only get's a few episodes in Index.

So I'd say you can watch Railgun without Index I, but I'd recommend watching Index I before watching Railgun S.

If it helps, the airing order was as follows(normally that's the best way to watch):

    Index S1(2008-2009)
    Railgun S1(2009-2010)
    Index S2(2010-2011)
    Railgun S((aka S2)2013)

But as was said, strict viewing order need not be enforced.

The Vision of Escaflowne - 6/26

Where have you been all my life, Escaflowne ಥ_ಥ?! Your dub's awkward, but you're still so easy to understand, and so beautiful! The music gives me feels like never before! I must have you forever, but you're so damn expensive on Amazon! Uwaaaaaaaa...

At least the manga's satisfying... and the movie... and soundtrack...

I watched Pom Poko today. It was a fine movie, it sent an important message. I didn't mention this, but I'm watching Ghibli movies I haven't seen yet (including Grave of the Fireflies, even though I heard it was a sad movie).

So it turns out taking a break at episode 4 of The Second Raid was the wrong idea. Everything after that point was fantastic, I loved it! Not that I should be surprised but KyoAni knocked it out of the park! Screw Haruhi, if KyoAni needs to come back to any old series it's this one.

Don't know why they even bother with re-releasing Elfen Lied on Blu-ray. Even for its time the show looked terrible. I doubt the shoddy 1080p transfer will help.
Meanwhile the director's best work Sora no Woto is stuck with a subbed DVD and a 7.57 rating on MAL (Lower than Highschool DxD)

Also AKB0048 is getting a blu-ray and a dub. Something that I really wish Idolm@ster could get.

I really wish some Aussie company would pick AKB up. I'm looking at you, Hanabee, you've already picked up so much other great stuff.

As for The iDOLM@STER, I realise the chances of that getting licensed are fairly slim, so I just imported it. Though I did say the same thing about Chihayafuru, and it got licensed here.

    MC reminds me of Oreki.

I predict it's story will be simple.

My one complaint so far from MC is that he's so boring but then again I like Oreki's personality
