    Suite Precure- 5/48 (On Hold)
    Yes! Precure 5- 2/49
    (Rewatching) FMA Brotherhood- 2/64
    Gintama- 8/201

Well, Suite Precure looks to be getting a bit better. But the characters don't have very good chemistry so I don't want to watch it. I'll finish it eventually, just not now

Watching Yes! Precure 5 instead. Not nearly as good as Heartcatch, but at least the characters are better then Suite

And I slowly trudge through FMA Brotherhood once again. Why can't all English dubs be this good?

I was not impressed by the soundtrack the way some people are, but I've also watched JoJo's Bizarre Adventure as much as I have.

Also, I was able to predict a lot of what happened. It kinda makes me sad that I'm capable of that, in a series this widely-hailed.
Well, you've only watched one episode. I only started to really like it around episode 6.

100% of information in signatures on this forum involving percentages is false. If you feel as cheated by this atrocity as I do, don't you dare copy this into your signature.
Hold on... if this percentage was correct at the time of print, that means the actual percentage of false information is less than 100% if this signature is included. Which means that... no! I've become a slave to the system!!

There's your problem. JoJo is still fresh in your mind so it's making everything else look bad. Thank God I finished JoJo only about a few weeks after it finished airing or else I might have had this same issue

Apart from like a minute in the first episode there's been no shirtless bishounen running around, that's gotta count for something?

I guess it sounds mild enough that it won't hamper my enjoyment of the show. It wouldn't be the first time I've watched something I usually wouldn't enjoy. I used to list ecchi, mecha and magical girl in my least favourite genres and now I have Strike Witches, Code Geass and Heartcatch Precure in my all time top 20

To be honest, I'm pretty terrible when it comes to picking out any kind of fan service that would be aimed at females. Maybe there is more, I just don't notice it.

Going to watch 'Children Who Chase Lost Voices' and 'The Place Promised in Our Early Days', because I've enjoyed his other 2 works, and hope the outcome is different, or at least that they don't involve romance that ends in nothingness.

Check out 'Voices of a Distant Star' as well. From what I've seen, Shinkai's work is about the effect separation has on relationships, although they don't all end in the same way.

The awkward moment when Tomokazu Sugita is also doing H anime.

And Yuyushiki is the best anime this season. Seriously, it's just fun.

I may be setting myself up for disappointment, then. I dropped Aku no Hana before then. Then again, this actually shows promise, while Aku no Hana mostly just had an interesting art style going for it.

Yeah, to be fair, JoJo's is pretty much the best at everything. I mean, I still love Gintama and am, so far, digging the second season of that even more than the first, but let's be honest -- JoJo's is pretty much one of the best things to have happened to the medium. Considering how much I loved the Phantom Blood arc, that it picked up even further with Battle Tendency also is more or less amazing.

    Another - 1/12
    Kakurenbo - COMPLETE

Started Another yesterday, and the first episode made me go "huh". So looks like I'm going to watch it all the way through even though I've heard some mixed feelings about it. I'm just thinking Sakakibara Kouichi is like the Keiichi of this show... just more ill.

Also, a friend told me about Kakurenbo, a short film translated as "Hide and Seek". I found the dub first, but the voices were annoying me and the quality was ick at worst. So I tracked down the sub. It was "eh" to me. It's just about these kids who play this game call "Otokoyo" where they go into this town and demons hunt them down. It's pretty much a more literal take on hide-and-seek Japanese children play, and it's also a play on words. It wasn't bad, I just wasn't scared nor even disturbed. The art style and animation reminded me of Wind Waker without the limitations of video game dynamics, though, so that was a small plus, but nothing big.

My guess is that it'll be both. "Fun to watch" because it'll be cringe-inducing. Because it will be so hideous that you'll feel alive.

While I liked the Rozen Maiden series as a whole, it fell victim to me being bored through it, leading to me paying less and less attention. It kinda makes me mad I can't watch a series now without being bored through it. Damnit

Meanwhile, Kara no Kyoukai was a good start for a movie series. I heard it gets better, so can't wait to watch further parts of the series

    Another - 12/12 - COMPLETE - plus OVA

I actually like this anime despite the ending going all crazy. It's a bit different from Higurashi, and while I know each show has their own individual charm to them, I felt like Higurashi handled everything better than Another did. It's very pretty to look at, and the story did keep me on the edge of my seat, but I didn't have the same feelings like I did with Higurashi. Still, for what it is, I really did enjoy it. The deaths sure got more and more gruesome, though XD. The first death pretty much set the tone well enough to let us know things were about to get serious.

Also, I watched the Tomoyo and Kyou arcs with my brothers because they hadn't seen them yet, and I didn't want them to touch my DVDs. They both like Kyou's arc the most (them being twins might have something to do with it), even though I still prefer Tomoyo's if I were to choose between the two.

    Hauuuu, what to watch next...

Even though I thought the first part was absolutely fantastic and still consider Dio Brando to be one of my favourite villains of all time, it was the second part that cemented my 10/10 score for the show. Also, without spoiling what happens, I will tell you that the fight scenes towards the end are really intense.
