So good! I need next blu-ray. May, hurry up already! The special feature "the making of" was a great bonus, so interesting. What was more shocking was the fact that my mom sat down, watched with me, and had a really good time. Part of the interviewed staff in the "making of" did mention how he wanted the show to target standard audiences across multiple continents. I wish there were more shows like this. Hurry up May (it sounds like as if I'm talking to someone)!

Reading through the discussion at MAL there actually seem to be people who care about the Sound Four. The only bright side to this is that the payoff will be worth it.

Sadly I didn't get to watch Ookami Kodomo no Ame to Yuki last night since it wouldn't work on my friend's PS3. And since I'm back from break I'm swamped with homework so I'll have to put it off even longer.
Though I did marathon the rest of Toradora! last night and ...wow, just wow. It's definitely one of my all time favourite series now, probably in my top ten (if I can ever decide between what numbers 4-10 will be). My only only complaint being that the last 10 minutes or so made the ending a bit sour but the last minute kind of fixed that. Other than that one thing, I'm a bit worried it might be perfect.

Wow - when I said I was going to intersperse Kaiji with a fluffier anime, I had no idea how much of a polar opposite series YuruYuri would turn out to be! I watched an episode of Kaiji (which describes how time spent without a goal in mind is a complete waste) and followed it up with episode 1 of YuruYuri (which has four girls who briefly consider devoting themselves to a goal before deciding to forget that and have lots of random everyday fun times instead). It actually works really well!

They really did a great job in capturing what it's like when you have a high school crush. Simple idea, it's been done a bazillion times, but this one covers the huge range of emotions that go along with it. I guess I'm a real sucker for emotional anime, as long as it's not forced.
