One mustn't forget that roles which require talking are off the list for pokemon if they want to work for humans. In a Mysterious Dungeon world, this is a different story, but if people are still around, pokemon can't take any jobs which require them to speak the same language.

But on that note, meowth of Team Rocket, could start his own "Talk Like a Man" program.

Actually, I could see Team Rocket and Team Twerp starting their own prank show-esque production in which they help unskilled pokemon by staging a capture by Team Rocket, which the pokemon would have to overcome their weaknesses in order to rescue themselves or their trainer. I mean, that's pretty much how any of Ash's pokemon and multiple others have found their strength.

But on to pokemon themselves, I'm sure gastly could work at a gas chamber. And lotad and lombre could be butlers, with their own dish. Loudred'd be a buglar, lol. Everyone'd hate him.

Olympic competitors, however, I don't see happening. Pokemon's superior strengths compared to humans would give them unfair advantage. If being required to have mechanical legs because you don't have real ones counts as cheap, then so does being a genetically superior element-controlling animal.
