This is a great tutorial! I've been working on a 3D Mudkip, and it's coming along great, all thanks to this tutorial - thanks! It's not done yet, but when it is, I'll be sure to post it here!

Wow, this is really great! I can shade and made 3D looking art on paper, but when it comes to Photoshop all I can do is photomanipulation (that's really cool too, but I can't make stuff from scratch). So this is really a great help Thanks!!

After a couple hours of working on Gimp.... Voila



That was quite fun. Difficult, but fun. Her ears were really hard. Couldn't quite figure out how the shadow would hit the right ear (when you're looking at it, not her right lol). And I don't like how the outside lines aren't very smooth. How would I go about fixing that?

I've looked at this tutorial before, only this time i actually decided to give it a try, and i must say it is very clear and precise instructions to follow, so kudos to you.

This is my attempt, slightly different style though [i have a tablet and photoshop thank the gods]

Ah the pen tool....my most despised enemy of photoshop (I'm not the most patient person in the world) still....wonder if it'll work with other formes like other cartoon characters.
