Default KL's 3D Style Tutorial Version II (Approval from Sweet May)

Alright, so have a few complaints that people cannot view my recent advanced tutorial because they can't open RAR files. So I uploaded all the images and made a new thread for it. Be aware that this tutorial is made for PHOTOSHOP, so don't ask me if it is compatible with any other program. Even though I used Photoshop CS4 in my tutorial, it should be able to be done on all photoshop versions unless said otherwise. Enjoy! ^^ Any questions, feel free to ask.

    RAR file: http://www.deviantart.com/download/1...othincomin.rar

    Old Tutorial: http://serebiiforums.com/showthread.php?t=374047

U suggest you save the images if you are going to repeatedly use the tutorial. Read each page carefully please ^^

    Other techniques/advice.

Something many people have problems with, SHADING! I can't really explain it much further than I have, but just hang on -.-'

If anything wrong with the links, tell me ^^

WOW You are the first to post a 3D artwork that is as decent as my tutorial is meant to get it, GREAT JOB 8D But maybe a transparent background would look better.

Yes, you may post ur results in the thread ^^

In fact, to celebrate HGSS, I made Cyndaquil into 3D!! WITH REALISTIC FIRE TOO 8D

A new fire tutorial might be coming soon.

It looks decent. The only thing is that the left ear where is meets the head looks blurred. The shading and highlights may look better if it was feathered more (It really looks like one of those pop up buttons xD)

    I like this tutorial.

My attempt. The outline was already done (actually, it was a picture on Serebii), but what I've done is re-outlined and re-colored it to my likings.

Do you have the links to the old tutorials? I find those helpful as well, but they seemed to have vanished.

I second this. Wasn't there that one that showed you how to do a 3D of already-existing art? It featured Leafeon.

Wow, this is really great! I can shade and made 3D looking art on paper, but when it comes to Photoshop all I can do is photomanipulation (that's really cool too, but I can't make stuff from scratch). So this is really a great help Thanks!!

After a couple hours of working on Gimp.... Voila

That was quite fun. Difficult, but fun. Her ears were really hard. Couldn't quite figure out how the shadow would hit the right ear (when you're looking at it, not her right lol). And I don't like how the outside lines aren't very smooth. How would I go about fixing that?
