    My favourites in order are:
Queen (best band EVAR, until Freddie kicked the bucket, a couple of weeks before I was even born ,___,)
Foo Fighters (I didn't know them very well until I heard Best of You on Live Earth or something, I fell in musical love!)
Nickelback (They get criticized a fair bit, but I've liked them for about five/six years now)
Whitesnake (I love 80's rock bands with massive perms!)
M People (From my days as a little kid)
Take That (Also from my days as a little kid)

I also like Michael Jackson, Bon Jovi, Meat Loaf, Van Halen, Lia, Maximum the Hormone and a shedload more. Must get more music ._.

hahaha. I'm going to a St. Vincent/Andrew Bird concert on my birthday, it's going to be magical (Beirut is pretty sick too, I did a report on the song Elephant Gun).

    Thanks for Juana Molina, also.

My top 3 would probably have to be:

    3. Coldplay
    2. Queen
    1. The Beatles

Not including Coldplay, I like the old, good music, not the modern crap where they take every popular song from the "good music era" and make it into a rap.

I've been listening to a lot more Jethro Tull of late. cf. my weekly last.fm stats:

    1. Jethro Tull (219)
    2. Quidam (62)
    3. Lou Reed (29)
    4. Redemption (28)
    5. Satellite (24)
    5. Kansas (24)
    7. Steve Hackett (16)
    7. The Velvet Underground (16)
    9. Sylvan (14)
    10. Marillion (13)

Um, yeah. Of late I've been picking up a lot of obscure prog bands (on that list alone, Quidam, Satellite, Redemption, Sylvan), so maybe I shouldn't really talk, but, one question: Coldplay fans, please explain the appeal of Coldplay to me. No offense to you.

They are a British new-rave grime, whatever band. They're quite good.
