Error: On the Daily Events pge for Diamond/Pearl, The last event listed is the Special Massage you can get daily at the Ribbon Club in the Resort area. The text there, however, incorrectly refers to tis club as a place you can't get into until you've beaten all Master Rank Contests.

Talking Shiny pokemon in anime not listed

Hi I was just watching through some episodes and noticed that in episode 537 "Enter Galactic" Saturn's Toxicroak is in fact shiny. By comparing images on the following pages and considering that there is no color scheme change when croagunk evolves into toxicroack. When i noticed the color difference I immediately referred to your pokedex as serebii.net is my favourite pokemon resource. I soon discovered that your list of shiny pokemon that appear in the anime does not include this toxicroak and I wanted to point this out to you. Here are some pages I think you should examine.
    Episode pictures: http://serebii.net/anime/pictures/shinou/537ps8.shtml
    Color schemes: http://serebii.net/pokedex-dp/454.shtml
Your shiny pokemon in the anime listing: http://serebii.net/anime/shiny/

Thanks guys I hope you check this out

Saturn's Toxicroak actually matches the colour of all the Toxicroak merchandise and art outside of the games so it isn't a Shiny

The Fast Ball here says it works well on Pokemon with a high speed. However, I believe it works well only on roaming Pokemon, so it's somewhat misleading.
Actually, the effect changed from the original GSC. The HG/SS effect for the Fast Ball is that it is more effective against fast Pokemon; even though the original HG/SS effect is that it is more effective against Pokemon that try to run away. I think this change was made because in the original GSC, some non-roaming Pokemon had a chance of running away, but in the 3rd and 4th generations, the only non-roamers that do this are in one of the various Safari Zones or the Great Marsh.

    Some other errors I noticed:

    http://www.serebii.net/pokearth/joht...alpark.shtml#c

It's a Crystal error, but it's simple. There are two spots for Weedle in the Bug-Catching Contest listings. The one that has 5% encounter rate, minimum level 12, and maximum level 15 should be Beedrill instead.

    http://www.serebii.net/pokearth/kanto/route13.shtml#gs

Joshua and Alex are PokéFans, not Black Belts.

    http://www.serebii.net/pokearth/kanto/route13.shtml#c

Another simple Crystal error. Once again, Joshua and Alex are PokéFans, not Black Belts.

    http://www.serebii.net/pokearth/kanto/route13.shtml#4th

The sprite for Joshua is that of a female PokéFan. Last time I checked, Joshua is a boy's name.

Just noticed this when I was checking to see which Pikachu I needed.

The TinyMushroom Pika on Lv. 10 (Group C) knows Thunder Wave, not Thunder.

Serebii, I know that you and the other people in charge of Pokéarth have had difficulties fixing the Crystal Headbutt data, but I can help with that. I determined the patterns that each Headbutt location has in the Crystal version, and I'll list them here. There are no Headbutt locations in Crystal other than the ones I'm listing, and of course, all Headbutt-obtained Pokémon in Crystal are at Level 10 and their appearance rates don't vary by time of day.

    Route 26, Route 27, and Route 32
Normal Trees: Hoothoot (65%), Exeggcute (20%), Ekans (15%)
Special Trees: Hoothoot (50%), Pineco (30%), Exeggcute (20%)

    Route 29, Route 30, Route 31, Route 34, Route 35, Route 36, Route 37, Route 38, and Route 39
Normal Trees: Hoothoot (50%), Exeggcute (20%), Ledyba (15%), Spinarak (15%)
Special Trees: Hoothoot (50%), Pineco (30%), Exeggcute (20%)

Route 33, Route 42, and Azalea Town
Normal Trees: Spearow (65%), Aipom (20%), Ekans (15%)
Special Trees: Spearow (50%), Heracross (30%), Aipom (20%)

Route 43 and Lake of Rage
Normal Trees: Hoothoot (65%), Exeggcute (20%), Venonat (15%)
Special Trees: Hoothoot (50%), Pineco (30%), Exeggcute (20%)

    Route 44
Normal Trees: Spearow (80%), Aipom (20%)
Special Trees: Spearow (50%), Heracross (30%), Aipom (20%)

    Ilex Forest
    Normal Trees: Hoothoot (50%), Pineco (30%), Noctowl (10%), Butterfree (5%), Beedrill (5%)
    Special Trees: Hoothoot (60%), Caterpie (15%), Weedle (15%), Metapod (5%), Kakuna (5%)

Pokéarth Crystal Headbutt data that still needs to be fixed:
    Route 26 http://www.serebii.net/pokearth/kanto/route26.shtml#c
    Route 27 http://www.serebii.net/pokearth/kanto/route27.shtml#c

    Route 42 http://www.serebii.net/pokearth/johto/route42.shtml#c
    Route 44 http://www.serebii.net/pokearth/johto/route44.shtml#c
Route 45 (you listed Headbutt data for it, but there are no Headbutt trees in Route 45 in Gold, Silver, or Crystal) http://www.serebii.net/pokearth/johto/route45.shtml#2nd
Route 46 (you listed Headbutt data for it, but there are no Headbutt trees in Route 46 in Gold, Silver, or Crystal) http://www.serebii.net/pokearth/johto/route46.shtml#2nd
    Azalea Town http://www.serebii.net/pokearth/joht...eatown.shtml#c
    Lake of Rage http://www.serebii.net/pokearth/joht...ofrage.shtml#c

Pokéarth Crystal Headbutt data that is currently 100% accurate:
    Route 43
    Ilex Forest

Feel free to take this information with a grain of salt, as long as you at least investigate it.

    Additional errors that I found:

    http://www.serebii.net/pokearth/kanto/route26.shtml#gs

In the listing for "Headbutt on Special Trees", it lists Kakuna as having a 5% encounter rate in Silver. Actually, that should be Beedrill there, not Kakuna.

    http://www.serebii.net/pokearth/kanto/route27.shtml#gs

In the listing for "Headbutt on Special Trees", it lists Kakuna as having a 5% encounter rate in Silver. Actually, that should be Beedrill there, not Kakuna.

    http://www.serebii.net/pokearth/kant...lant.shtml#4th

You forgot to mention the Dugtrio-for-Magneton trade in HG/SS.

    http://www.serebii.net/pokearth/johto/route31.shtml#4th

In the listing for Headbutt, it says that Pineco can only be found on Route 31 in HeartGold. Pineco can be found on Route 31 in both HeartGold and SoulSilver.

    http://www.serebii.net/pokearth/johto/route46.shtml#4th

In the listing for Headbutt, it says that Ekans can be found with Headbutt on Route 46 in HeartGold and SoulSilver. Ekans can only be found with Headbutt in Crystal; that should be Spearow there, not Ekans.

    http://www.serebii.net/pokearth/joht...city.shtml#4th

The Spearow that you get is actually obtained in the gatehouse, which is part of Route 35 (I checked with the Pokégear map). As such, Spearow should be listed in Route 35, not Goldenrod City.

    http://www.serebii.net/pokearth/joht...ound.shtml#4th

In HG/SS, the Goldenrod Underground is called the Goldenrod Tunnel.

    http://www.serebii.net/pokearth/joht....shtml#hgss-2f

Gyarados is the only Pokemon listed under Super Rod for the second floor of Mt. Silver in HG/SS, but the encounter rate is listed as 63%. There should be another slot for Seaking, with the encounter rate for Seaking being 37%.

    http://www.serebii.net/pokearth/joht...ghthouse.shtml

It's just called the Lighthouse, not the Shining Lighthouse. There is an alternate name, but the alternate name is the Glitter Lighthouse.

    Small Grammatical error.

You've made a mistake with the placement of some of the Rockets. Scientist Trenton, and the Rocket Grunt with Ekans, Ekans, Oddish, and Gloom are on the 4th floor, not the Third.

Also, Rocket Executive Petrel is on F5, not F4

Another thing about my post above, the Rocket Grunt with Zubat, Grimer, and Golbat is also on F4, not F3, and the Rocket Grunt with Raticate and Koffing is on F3 not F4.

On the top 100 HP page in the DPPtHGSS pokedex it says Weavile has 120 HP, it only has 70.

I just checked that page and Weavile isn't there...are you sure you're not mistaking it for the Attack page?

Facetious, thank you for making my altruistically-intended report of an error seem annoying and unnecessary.

Anyway, slightly bigger one that I think comes from Japanese translation...

Error: On the Diamond/Pearl Berries list page, it refers to Poffins as PokeBread over and over on all the different Poffin-ingrediant berries. I'm assuming that before the english games came out this list was written, using "PokeBread" because it was translated like that from the Japanese Games? Maybe I'm way off.

I have never been on such a slow forum! It took me 15min to load the forum, 15min to load the Serebii.net Discussion forum, 15min to load the Bug Topic, and now 15min to open the reply page! I'm sure I'll be waiting 15min for this to go through, too :s Jeez.

    On-Topic

Victory Road Floor One has the wrong percentages. It shows Golbat & Graveler with 30% each, 10% for Ursaring/Dolphan (pending the version), 5% for Rhyhorn, and 15% for Onix, but that only adds up to 90%. You're missing 10% from the total on one of the Pokemon, but I'm not sure which. I'm thinking Onix is actually 25%, not 15%, or either Golbat/Graveler is 40%.

I'm not sure. I just know it adds to 90%, and not 100%.

Not really a mistake, but in the Old Rod section, there are separate sections for Morning, Day, and Night, even though Old Rod encounters don't change depending on time of day.
Not really a mistake, but in the Good Rod and Super Rod sections, the primary divisions are based on time of day instead of version. Aren't primary divisions usually based on version?

If it's "Not Really A Mistake" then can you please not post it. Things are ordered by the database and their placement doesn't matter

I appreciate that you're helping but it is sort of infuriating to see "Not really an error" over and over and makes it harder to pinpoint actual errors

Plus, a few of the things you stated aren't actually errors

Error: There's something wrong with Purugly's non-shiny D/P sprite. What's with the weird dark chin? I have already posted this twice. Purugly does not look like that in the game or on any other sprite resource.

I can breed any breedable Pokémon you want with any nature/egg moves and up to 5 perfect IVs. I can also EV train and/or give it Pokerus. I can't breed shinies, 6 IVs, or specific Pokéballs. The harder the request, the better Pokémon I'm gonna want in return. PM me with requests and offers.

The encounter lists for Mt. Silver in HG/SS are all mixed up. Firstly, I'm pretty sure what you call 1F and 2F are the same thing since they're in the same map. The list for 2F is the correct one. On 3F, I ran into a Sneasel, which isn't listed.

However, there are still a few things that need to be added to that page:
    1. You have to have beaten Janine before you can get Falkner's number(I know this is true from first-hand experience).

    2. You have to get all 16 badges before you can get Brock's, Misty's, and Blaine's numbers(I'm about 99% certain about this, however when asking about this on GameFAQs, one person claimed to have gotten those numbers before getting all 16 badges, but I've tried to get all three number and when I went to the right place at the correct time and day they didn't show up as the page says they should, but I can't think of anything else other than getting all 16 badges that you'd need to do get their numbers.)

    3. You need to have all 16 badges before you can schedule rematches with the gym leaders.

    4. When getting Lt. Surge's number, you must CAPTURE Zapdos, just defeating it won't allow you to get Lt. Surge's number.
Hmm, it's been over a week since the above was reported. I'm surprised it hasn't been fixed yet. Since they're both HGSS related, I thought they would have been given close to top priority. Oh well.

Error: In the Heart Gold and Soul Silver safari zone thread it say it's a similar manner to the old safari zone where you get 30 safari balls and limited steps, but you have an unlimited amount of steps.
