The synergy between these two themes is awesome; because of the ways they work together. You got the Synchro Cat OTK driving the handless engine of the Infernities, because of all the hand advantage you give up to create the massive attack and burn damage. Cold Wave + Monk + Discard = -3, so there you go. Not to mention you can get Brionac, the big card for this deck, by getting Infernity Beast and Airbellum with Cat, and mill your entire hand to kick your effects off.

The thing is, Infernites aren't about running a crapload of costly discard effects, but to make the discarding come naturally and not just mill your hand that way. I mean, if you set a card, it's a -1 to your hand too, which is a cool thing when you run cards that need to be set, like the awesome Depth Amulet and Crush Card Virus, which can target Necromancer or PSZ. Otherwise I'm not even too sure on some of the other Infernity support, and I don't know how good an idea Infernity Force is, since it seems like it would be very dead early game. Perhaps things like Wing Blasts would be wise then. Books are also cool too, since they stop stuff.

So, basically, driving force of the deck aside from getting the Cat OTK is to get out Brionac, mill your hand, and use the Infernites to gain some field control that way, and it also clears the field for some Dark Strike madness, or set up some field advantage by putting Archfiend on the top of your deck with Feather and getting Guardian out. Then, Hundred-Eye Dragon is a fun, themed addition that can copy Gale and Necromancer, but's not too practical since it's hard to get out level 8's in this deck. But yeah...

tl;dr - Awesome deck combination is awesome
