Who do you use for HM Slaves?

It took me about two weeks to get this team, but it was well worth it.
They pretty much have it all. This is my Search Ops Team:

Banette
Frisk
Flash, Thief, Shadow Claw, Shadow Ball

Butterfree
Compound Eyes
Defog, Psybeam, Silver Wind, Bug Buzz

Linoone
Pick Up
Cut, Strenght, Rock Smash, Shadow Claw

Lapras
Thuderbolt, Surf, Waterfall, Ice Beam

Fearow
Fly, Steel Wing, False Swipe, Hyper Beam

Steelix
Rock Climb, Dig, Earthquake, Iron Tail

Plus, this line up can take on any type, with exception of a few Dual type Pokes. Would I need anything else?

I use pretty much anything I find along the road and deem useless out of poor judgment. I've always used a legendary as an HM slave for Fly at least once per save game, as they more often than not make my current fly slave obsolete. As for other HMs, I'm fairly sure I played through Diamond once with an Empoleon that ended up useless in the end due to all the HMs he knew, but that was a while ago.

Otherwise, I use Bidoof and his evolution. I don't have anything against him or anything like that, don't get me wrong - the idea of a psychotic beaver on speed plowing through teams and rivers alike is grade-A awesome in my book. His downfall is that he's a lot like Tropius - he learns too much for his own good.

Bibarel and Tropius together can learn every HM in DPPt, so I went with them.

Yeah but a Pokemon who can fly and one that can surf is a must. So I don' need an HM slave for those.

It depends on the game, though I've got a Bibarel in all of them. In Diamond, Bibarel's got Cut, Rock Smash, Strength and Rock Climb, Empoleon has Surf, I've got a Gyarados with Waterfall, and I put Fly and Defog on a Chatot. In Pearl, Bibarel has the same four, and I put Surf, Fly and Defog on a Pelipper and Waterfall on a Floatzel. And in Platinum, Bibarel has Surf, Strength, Waterfall and Rock Climb and I've got a Tropius with Fly, Defog, Cut and Rock Smash.

For me it's almost always Togetic and Gyarados. I don't even know why Gyarados it's generally a good battler... I guess there are just better Pokemon for the spot. xD

I personally use Bibarel as a HM slave since it can do all sorts of wonders on the field, such as move boulders, smash rocks, surf across waters, rock climb, waterfall up or cut, it can pretty much use any HM except Fly which is amazing. Personally I use it but sometimes I also use a Graveler :3.

My Staraptor is like my eternal Fly Pokemon, I use it on Pearl, Platinum, and Black. It's name is Mateus. It's also flawless! =D Which is good for me! XD
If I ever need a flying Pokemon, the first I think is "Mateus".
