Yes, I'm quoting myself. It has to do with the continuation of the synopsis for this fiction that I'm currently developing.
Satoshi travels with new trainers in this new region where Hikari is hospitalized currently. Friends from Satoshi and her have visited and wished her to get well. Ayako was in multiple meetings with the doctors and the looks on Hikari's health wasn't good and it is unknown what the illness is.
Satoshi still worries for Hikari's health and was a major distraction for his training and battling. Shinji visits her with flowers and what Hikari doesn't know was that Satoshi requested him to send the bouquet as a gift. Ayako's husband, the father of Hikari was called to the hospital to watch over her with her mother.
Time goes quickly, and Satoshi finally prepares to battle his rival at the league. Shinji arrives to watch and tells Satoshi that Hikari is hoping for him to win; win the battle for her. The doctors found a diagnosis and are going to test it on Hikari soon, Shinji fears what the results will be and holds it in to not scare Satoshi. Feeling a sight of despair from Shinji, Satoshi was worse than ever in battle. Not knowing what will happen to his close friend, he struggles to focus.
Haruka arrives with tears in her eyes next to Shinji as they watch Satoshi from across. Seeing her cry into Shinji's arms, Satoshi broke loose and returned his last-standing pokemon to its poke-ball. He apologizes to his rival and says there's something that he needs to get done first. He rushes from the scene to the hospital where Hikari was held.

Sounds like an interesting story. I'd be looking forward to reading that.
Lately, I've been writing a Pearlshipping one-shot based off the song Already Over by Red. It's nowhere near being completeled though.


Which pokemon shipping best represented Pearlshipping?

I'm going to say Lagomorphshipping for this one.

Professor Oak has said that Pokemon represent the feelings of their trainers, which one could say that Dawn might have a crush on Ash. But another one may argue that Buneary developed the crush on Pikachu before Dawn caught her so it might not prove that Dawn has feelings for Ash.

But that's what I think.

LightningPearlShipping is another one that could symbolize Pearlshipping, seeing how close Pikachu and Pochama (I don't like calling him Piplup. I just don't) were.

What is your favorite Pearlshipping story?

For me, it's a tie between One Pink Scarf by GlowingGreenEyes, and Through Time and Space by Bubbles18. I'm sure most of you are familiar with the ladder, as it is, to me, a PS classic in the archives. The former, however, is an incomplete fic; regardless of that, it is a wonderfully written fanfic that pulls you into the story's plot and will have you begging for more, especially regarding Dawn's ever growing pile of troubles. Those two fics have inspired me greatly when it comes to my writing, and I don't know where I'd be if it weren't for them. (:

Yeah, I know. I really loved how in sync Ash and Dawn were during their Sinnoh journey. It was a combination you couldn't see in any of the four other regions, and I'm glad the writers put much focus on the development of Ash and Dawn's friendship even with other things to work on.

Can you tell which episode that has Dawn winks at Ash in her pink pajamas while Brock holding his happiny? I don't remember the name of the epsiode and I like to see it again.

Ugh, my memory might be fuzzy, but I think the episode you're referring to is part of the Wallace Cup arc where May arrives and enters the competition. If I remember correctly, it's around DP075 - DP079. Though I could be wrong; anyone else mind stepping in to correct me if I am? *sweatdrops*

Well, for the story synopsis that I posted earlier may be something worthy to write, however, i already have a movie-fiction that I'm writing that does involve Satoshi and Hikari. That story isn't focused on them, but they do have hints throughout the movie. The development of the story is real good, and I'm near halfway in writing it.
I'm also an artist on Deviantart and I watch a lot of good artists to see if they submitted any new deviations. There's one artist I know that's dead-on when it comes to drawing pearlshipping.

What I see in his/her art when it comes to SatoHika is that it's all about the puzzles put together to show how much pearlshipping is represented a real strong shipping IMO. Whenever I view these works, I always have a smile plastered on my face XD.
If you view his/her deviations, there's just tons of shipping wroks and I faved all of them XD.

Bad news, guys. I've got a horrible writers block with Ice Box and I'm literally coming up with nothing for C7. I've actually put it on hiatus as of right now. but things aren't looking very promising.
With The Essence of Power except my co-writers has been extremely busy lately and hasn't had time to write lately. So that story is on hold as well.

I have so many.
Like Pat, I also really like One Pink Scarf by GlowingGreenEyes. As I was reading that story, I was really confused. But it's still really good. I also liked Pressed Love by DestinyChance01. Dawn and Ash aren't actually traveling with each other but they do run into each other quite story. All of those stories are great. It's hard to pick one over another, you know? Decisions, decisions.
Those are really the only ones that come to mind but there are so many more.

Well I haven't read very many of them since I just got back into pokemon after 10 years of being quiet. I have read several though not much has been memorable.

Hmm well buneary had that giant crush on pikachu. And the way piplup felt about leaving pikachu showed how much Dawn will miss Ash.

Oh and I'm sorry for not having a lot to say on my first post here. It was close to the time I had to turn off my computer at the time. I got into Pearlshipping when I first watched an episode with Dawn in it. I thought they had just clicked when I first saw them together. She has this confidence in her that matched Ash's.

For me, it's Pikachu/Pochama (I'm not sure what the shipping name is. Is it LightningPearl or BubbleBolt?)
For starters, Pikachu and Pochama are respectvely Ash and Dawn's Pokemon. They're just as close to each other and Ash and Dawn were to each other. They high five too, just like Ash and Dawn so. What more can I say?
Lagomorph is a good one but I think it represents PokeShipping more then Pearl cause of Misty's one-sided affection for Ash.

Which Pokémon Shipping best represented Pearlshipping?
Hmm good question! And I must say I have two that can easily be related to this shipping in two sorts of ways:
LightningPearlShipping (Piplup & Pikachu...I think) - Though I base this shipping more on the friendship side to the romance side, which helps to indicate their strong friendship, just like Ash and Dawn's!
LagomorphShipping (Pikachu & Buneary) - This, obviously, is definitely a pairing that represents both sides of friendship/relationship, through closeness and love. Though it is mostly more one sided on Buneary's side, I can't help but link hers and Pikachu's relationship to Ash's and Dawn's, romantically and of course friendship wise!

What is your favorite Pearlshipping story?
Interesting question! One I really like as well! I love fanfictions and I personally love One Pink Scarf by GlowingGreenEyes, like most of us on here do! I also love Head Over Heels & Earth Hour by super ario! OH & how could I forget Light Into Darkness by Complete Hollow (my faithful and wonderful reviewer for Pressed Love) Those are the ones that really make a huge statement to me and I love to read them again and again, in fact, GlowingGreenEyes and Complete Hollow's fanfics had inspired me to join and write stories on the site and I couldn't be more grateful!

Yep, you can say that again.
I have been thinking for ideas and I'm still coming up with nothing. It's driving me insane. I'm getting messages on FanFiction from readers, who keep begging me not to discontinue it and it's driving me crazy.
Sorry but I just needed to say that. It's highly annoying how some people don't understand how hard writing can be.

I do send my apologies for the lack of updates by the way! However I'm free from 13th July until Mid September of this year, so updates will be much faster for 'Pressed Love' hopefully Pearlshippers.

How long has it been since I posted in here? So far I've been ignoring Best Wishes simply because it hurts to see Ash go on without Dawn. I'm going to await the day Ash and Dawn meet again and hopefully it won't be too far off.

Dawn was the only girl I actually didn't want to see leave the main cast, but I soon got over it when I realized that any shipping with Ash will never become canon except for Pikashipping.

Putting shipping aside for a moment, Best Wishes as a whole is actually pretty good, so I'd say you're missing out on a great series, but it's your decision to watch what you want, so I won't say anymore.

What is it exactly that made you support Pearlshipping in the first place?

It was their cute friendship. After I stumbled upon the Pearlshipping page at Bulbapedia, I rewatched the episodes to spot the hints I was dense enough to not notice at first, and found myself loving the shipping more and more as I saw them interact with each other. I thought it was adorable how Ash supported Dawn all the way in her contests, and how Dawn stuck up and cared for Ash a lot, more so than the previous girls did (in my opinion). Their high five was what sealed the deal for me, and I remember squealing like a fangirl when I first saw it. (What can I say? I was 14.)

Oh my gosh I loved this pairing with a passion. I still do, but my passion has toned down a lot over the years. Maybe my romantic side will resurface if I watch DP again. XD

When Dawn was shocked seeing Team Rocket actually attacking Ash and her inspired face from his bravery trying to recover Pikachu despite the danger. After that, interactions of them kept me going all the way until DP ended. No matter what happens, I remain Ash+Dawn as the stapled couple due to their incredibly strong relationship.

It was stupid of them to not expand the relationship a little further and Dawn's role slowly went down throughout the series.

It's the same thing with me. I was also so sad when Ash and Dawn parted ways in DP191. Dawn was also the only girl I really didn't want to see leave the main cast. I wasn't watching when Misty left and I didn't really care when May did because I didn't like AG. But I've gotten over it too. I really like Iris a lot. This coming from someone who used to hate her. Sure, it's saddening to see Ash not traveling with Dawn but Iris is awesome.
And as Pat said, you're not going to see any pairing with Ash become canon, EVER because we all know how Ash is. PikaShipping is the only Ash shipping that I think will become canon. Nuff' said.

I agree with Pat on this. Best Wishes is actually a really good saga. Although I can't watch the English version of that show. It's just that bad.
I stopped watching BW for a while because of my busy schedule but I started up again and I've really enjoyed all the episodes I've watched. I really do miss Dawn too but Iris and Dento are awesome. I love the both of them.

I agree. I really miss Dawn too and it saddens me to see Ash traveling without Dawn. Dawn was my favorite Poke-Girl and I miss her. I do miss Misty and May too but not as much as Dawn. But I've gotten over it too and I agree with you. We're probably not going to see any Ash-ship become canon because we all know how he is when it comes to love. He's as dense as you can get.

It was their friendship. I did stop watching the anime for a while but I started up again when DP aired and as soon as I saw how close Ash and Dawn were, I was hooked on Pearlshipping. I mean, the way Dawn supported Ash in his gym battles is something that neither Misty or May did. That really says something to me. But, like pokefan, it was also their high fives that was the icing to the cake.

Now, Dawn might not be on the show and Ash has a new female companion in Iris but I'm still as big as Pearlshipper as ever. I will always continue to support this pairing, no matter what. I assure you guys that.

I really liked Dawn's character right off the bat, and after a while, I started to like her interactions with Ash. Something about the way they talked to each other was very cute, and I liked pairing them together. I didn't really join any PearlShipping discussions until much later, but I've had a lot of fun talking about the pairing. I was sad when the Diamond and Pearl saga ended last year, but we still have tons of precious memories to keep us going. I don't think Pokemon is the same without Dawn and Ash together on screen, but I continue to support the pairing even now.
