All right guys, this team is going to be a little different than my previous teams... I hope you're all prepared. Without further ado, my epic team full of win. (Bear in mind, this is solely for in-game purposes. Just to beat the gyms and the E4)
Jolteon @ Leftovers(!)
EVs: 252 HP / 24 SpD / 232 Spe
-Wish/Substitute/Thunder Wave/Light Screen
I bet you never thought you'd see him on a team of mine. He's support, mainly bearing Agility and Baton Pass for a purpose you will soon find out. EVs may be reinvested into Special Attack, just in case.
Skarmory @ Shed Shell
EVs: 252 HP / 80 Atk / 176 Def
This is fantastic set. Fly is a great STAB move, and makes Skarmory a reliable Skiploom counter. Defog laughs in the face of Double Teamers and Minimizers. Rock Smash has that 50% chance of lowering the foe's defense, perfect for breaking down physical walls. Cut is the last move on the set, rounding it out quite nicely and giving it some neutral coverage. Shed Shell gets me out of a lot of sticky situations, and gives me a nice check to Tentacool/cruel, who can't trap me with Wrap.
Golduck @ Life Orb
EVs: 176 Atk / 80 Sp Atk / 252 Spe
I opted to got with a mixed set here. Water+Normal means he'll be hitting everything in the game for at least neutral damage, except for Empoleon and Shedinja. Waterfall and Surf provide STAB Water attacks on both sides of the offensive spectrum, helpful for wallbreaking. You might think it's odd that I have both Rock Climb and Strength on the same set, but it's not. Rock Climb has slightly more base power and a confusion chance of 20%, but at the drawback of having 85% accuracy. When I'm not feeling risky, Strength gives me a nice, safe fall-back plan.
ZOMG IT'S A F*CKING BEAR @ Leftovers
Adamant Nature (Guts)
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Atk / 4 Def
Ladies and gentlemen, the star of this one-man show. I completely intend to sweep all of Johto with just him. Maybe one other Pokemin, just in case, but for the most part, me and my Ursaring will basically be flattening villages for the few months following the release of SS. So you see, after two Agilities from Jolteon, he basically outruns everything he'll be facing, so no speed invesments are necessary. Then, after a single Swords Dance, he goes on a rampage and just wins.
Oh, and he will be shiny.
So there it is, my future SoulSilver team. Go ahead and bask in its glory, and rate away.
